Emraan Hashmi Has A Midnight Stalker

A young woman landed at Emraan Hashmi's Bandra apartment at 3 am on Sunday morning and started banging the door much to the shock of the other residents.

A source close to the actor revealed, "The woman breached the building's security and landed up outside his apartment, screaming at the top of her voice that she wanted to have a chat with Emraan. The din woke up his parents who were shocked by the unsolicited visitor." The source further added, "The drama lasted for around 20 minutes and it was only after the guards were called in that she gave up and left."

Fortunately, Emraan was away in Cape Town shooting for Vikram Bhatt's fantasy flick Mr. X.'. Emraan's uncle Mahesh Bhatt said, "Stalking is the price of stardom. John Lennon had to take a bullet from an obsessive fan. In Bollywood, a stalker landed up in Hema Malini's home and the shock caused her father to have a fatal cardiac arrest. I believe that on a psychological level stalking is about channeling your suppressed desire towards a star who belongs to a social class that the stalker aspires to be apart of."

He further added, "The woman was seen loitering in the vicinity, she's believed to be mentally unstable. I have told Emraan and his family to take this seriously and be careful."
