On the surface a confusing episode- but weirdly enough I loved it!

Well you know what as confusing as it seemed this would have been truly epic if that stupid annoying moronic spoiler was not there to spoil the suspense that Paro would not eat the laddoo!

cz the whole build up was awesome. He was angry at her for hurting his ego. That too because HIS WIFE begged, that is what rankled to him. It mattered to him because she belonged to him. Otherwise if she begs or weeps or whatever why would it make him feel like an insult to himself? It was the very fact that she humbled herself in front of someone else that made him furious and made him lash out at her!
That is what I read of it. He is possessive and a jerk too. But today he didn't get angry because he believes she doesn't have any rights. It was the exact opposite, it was the very fact that something in his possession putting herself down/lowering herself that made him mad!!
He even as much admits to her that he was walking towards her, that he was trying to genuinely come closer to her and as usual clings to the flimsy excuse of a supposed wrong to back off too. And that too is well within character as he is anyway so insecure that he will clutch at any straw to justify pushing her away from himself.

So after this Rudra runs off his mouth and Paro takes it all in. And then even tells him the very words that would have destroyed him completely if she has been the one to eat that poison. Because, contrary to what many thinks about Paro being clingy she is ready to let him leave.. only that her belief that if gods meant it that way they would make it happen is holding her to him. So she uses her own version of 'If you love someone let him go and he will come back to you if it was meant to be' and tells him to ask the gods to rid himself of her.

And then he goes and in isolation remembers all those other moments Paro felt as if she was something to him, when he felt the pain while she was the one to physically get hurt. The moments that felt as if she belonged to him.
The contrary man comes back. And then sprouts out the same nonsense to her about getting rid of her and asking gods to do it.

And actually the gods answer it in a twisted manner, actually quite befitting too as his wishes were twisted as he himself was thinking two exact opposite things at the same time.. Because they show to Paro that - the very man she was ready to let go for his happiness would have to die for it to happen! It just might cement her belief that she is not to leave him according to divine will.

And finally as I started this post with - you know that crappy spoiler actually dimmed down a lot of suspense! I hope to god that TRP viewers didn't know cz even knowing all of it, till the last second i waited with baited breath to see if he would indeed feed it to her with his own hands..
It was scary and was a good episode filled with suspense.

Anyway looking forward to tomorrow's episode :)

I loved the episode

To begin with the bangle scene...though he dropped the bangles non of them broke which is a good symbolism, bangles are suhaag ki nishaani and the fact hers remained intact despite falling reflects that her suhaag (Rudra) will be safe. Also the bangles scattered PaRud bought them together so like the bangles PaRud may scatter (some sort of seperation is on the way) but find their way back to each other to be together.

I love how he slipped up again saying he couldnt bear that she was upset because of him! He didn't want her to recall the morning!

Basically Rudra inner turmoil is being shown well...his fear to accept the depth of his love, concern and care towards Paro. He was hurt because yes it hurt his ego that she begged for his job to be returned but also the fact her self-esteem had been hurt...like you pointed out she belongs to him know, he doesn't want it hurt that too because of him

I loved how Paro was not silent when he asked "kis haq se..." And she replied that as a WIFE the right he gave her.

His moments in isolation thinking about what he has felt and what others have observed about them was beautifully shown, all the right moments were flashed

I knew he was going to eat the ladoo i wanted to know the context, I thought it would due to his suspicion that Kaki made them and was so insistent that Paro eat them so Rudra sensed something fishy so ate the ladoo instead.

I think Paro will leave him once he is ok, she can't leave him when he is hurt and in need to someone by his side.

I like your version of the episode, Sunara!!!!! Must say it was indeed a bit convoluted for our liking but goes on to show the convoluted thought process of Rudra, as he says one thing, wants something else and does the complete opposite action to his actual reactions!!!!!

This!! I don't know why everyone is saying Paro will decide to grant Rudra's *apparent* wish and leave him...if anything, because of the nice way you put it, it would make more sense for her to stick to him now more than ever.

I love reading yours posts Sunara and thank you for this one. At least by reading your post has made some sense of today's episode because I couldn't understand why rudra got mad but what you have written about Rudra's state of mind makes total sense.
I loved the bangle scene today and how Paro in her own way managed to get Rudra to place the bangles on her hand.
I still can't believe he admitted that he wants to come close to her.
Can't wait for the rest of the weeks episodes to see what happens.
