This year will see Arjun Kapoor with the highest gross of film collections. His 2 states will do 100 cr, and Gunday has done 80 cr. Two of his films, Finding Fanny and Tevar are expected to do atleast 50 cr, so I guess Arjun will surely add 300-350 cr this year. What do u say?😆

What is Deepika thinking? It also depends on the collection of HNY.

Rest big stars have one film, which will not do more than 200 cr, so DPad, 250 cr almost. (HNY+FF) So she will be 2nd highest this time.

If u wanna count, then count the SOLO Releases, coz if u star in multistarrer, then it isn't valid for that actor's total achievement.

if Finding fanny / Tevar are SOLO Hero film, then he would have 3 films. Also 2 States is looking for 100 cr, still very hard for it to cross that figure. BOI has predicted 81-82 cr for 2 weeks, so adding up another 20 cr in 3rd week will be very tough.

On an Average - 90-100 + 50 + 50 = 190-200 Cr he is aiming if those 3 films are Solo Hero.

Salman has Kick, adding Jai Ho's 110 Cr, if it does 150-200, Salman will come around 250-300 Cr. If Kick does more than expected in 200-250 cr business, then it will raise again.

SRK / Aamir has 1 film, both will be aiming 200-300 cr target.

So Arjun will be 3rd highest at best if other than khans, no other big star score above 200.

There's no stopping the triumphant run of the Alia Bhatt-Arjun Kapoor starrer '2 States' at the box office.

Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer "2 States" is in its second week and it has raked in about Rs.70 crore at the domestic box office. Close on its heels is "Revolver Rani", which came out this weekend.

"Samrat & Co." and Subhash Ghai's "Kaanchi" haven't struck the right chord yet.

According to sources, "2 States", which released April 18, has earned Rs.69.83 crore net in the country.

Based on a bestseller by author Chetan Bhagat, it is directed by first-timer Abhishek Varman.

"2 States' is still leading. Among the new releases, Revolver Rani' is doing the best. It has minted approximately Rs.3.25 crore in two days. Kaanchi' has collected about Rs.1.25 crore and Samrat & Co.' must have earned not more than Rs.50 lakh," Rajesh Thadani of Multimedia Combines told IANS.

Though Kangana Ranaut-starrer "Revolver Rani" has done relatively better than the other two films that released April 25, the movie's performance at the box-office is not as good as her previous film "Queen".
"The buzz wasn't that great. Even the songs are not good and promotions didn't create much hype," said Thadani.

Tagged as a "complete B-grade entertainment" by its producer Tigmanshu Dhulia, the film presents Kangana Ranaut shooting guns and acting more like a male hero.

While "Samrat & Co." shows Rajeev Khandelwal as an investigator in the detective movie, women empowerment-based "Kaanchi" is Ghai's directorial after six years.
