Its true she lacks the charisma, but I've begun to think how overused that term is. If Sonam Kapoor got by all these years with neither spark or good acting chops then I'd root for Shraddha who was decent in Aashiqui. With hard work, she can get past her shortcomings and carve a niche for herself. Not everyone can be a star but she can hope for a successful career at least.

People also call Katrina boring, bland and feels she has no charisma. But not only did Katrina last, she became the highest earning actress.

Her line delivery is beyond horrible and she looks so tired and dull on screen. She's an average actress, but extremely pretty.

deepika was and STILL IS more boring n bland then what shrradha is today...ebveryone will agree that she deepika has no great energies, wit, or any such presence OFFscreen even till today..
ok now the professional front...even in OSO deepika was plain average (shrradha was miles aheaad in A2) to bad..what she did in oso was just to lipsync songs and make bubble gums...THATS IT.

in her next almost half dozen releases she was plain bad and her acting as well as dialogue delivery was bad then shrradha... she improved only since last 3 year, after spending 4-5 years in the industry ... giving 3 times more releases then shrradha did.

I dont even get why r u so keen to writeoff shrradha... she has this huge potential to grow like anyother actress... not just deepu but even kareena and especially karishma were PATHETIC in acting and dialogue delivery... special mention KARISHMA who learnt not just acting and how to deliver dialogues but also learnt how to makeup and dressup after spending like whole 5 to 6 years in the industry.

Not everyone has to be those loud, pathaka type of girls. Parineeti and Alia may be like that and it may get them lots of attention - but Shraddha is more ladylike and graceful. She has her own personality, just because she isn't in your face or constantly being shoved down everyones throat, doesn't mean she doesn't have a personality. I personally find her a lot better off-screen than Alia or Parineeti.

I think Shraddha has lots of potential, shes so young and deserves a fair chance to prove herself. IMO shes the underdog, and will emerge as a strong actor in the next few years. I personally thought she really good in A2 and if she wasn't she wouldn't be nominated in the Best Actress category for it.

Now i agree with this.

She's def much prettier than Alia and Pari..that said Shraddha is not that beautiful. I think when you have a great screen presence it adds to your beauty..and that's where Shraddha fails..she is such a bore on screen. However, in the acting department, I don't think Pari is better than her. Shraddha is a good actress..just lacks screen presence.

A2 is Shraddha's third film, so we can't compare OSO to A2. I'm talking about her onscreen persona not offscreen, Shraddha is boring and bland. I know DP was shit in the beginning. I'm not eager to write Shraddha off, I would be happy if she succeeds. I just want her to b a bit energetic and show off some talent. And
let's not make this into a DP topic.

Everyone was bad when they started out..from Kareena, to PC to Vidya to Deepika and more. I use to think Vidya is boring too and lacked screen presence but she proved me wrong in TDP. That said, I guess we should give Shraddha a chance..but there's nothing wrong with discussing how boring she is as of now. I give her this though..most of her roles have been diverse and better than Pari.
