Jalal apologized decently today ... begged for forgiveness, cited how a son has promised his mother to get back the 'daughter - Jodha' and how he has promised Karim to bring back Jodha! Jalal pleads and explains all this to his begum, folds hands, and bows his head, yet no effect on that cold hearted woman!

What more does that she want? should he go jump off a cliff and die? 🤢
Urgh CV's what character assassination! Jalal who always held his head high with pride, being reduced to this! Makes me think - never fall in love if this is what happens!

Here Jalal really and literally FELL in love instead of RISING in it because he fell for a partner whose Rajvanshi pride, ego and haughtiness is more dear to her heart than her husband's heartfelt and sincere apology. To top it she even forgets that she had a major role to play in this whole misunderstanding scenario but she loves to blame only her husband for all he said. All those unnecessary tears and complaints to her Moti and Kanha doesn't do a thing for me neither does her skipping meals showing her sadness does. If one is repenting then forgive that person and more so if one is also wrong then be the bigger person and accept those faults and mistakes as well. As its said when a person points a finger at another person then 3 fingers are pointing at oneself, our Jodha begum apparently has forgotten it.

If Jalal is wrong then so is she, if he is repenting then so should she, if he is suffering then so should she! Behaving like that so rudely in front of the whole family and servants, forget about husband, but with the Emperor of the nation is just not done. Jodha ought to be sent to school of manners big time!
I don't know where she was when Bharmal and Mainavati were teaching manners and etiquette to their children!

Also I forgot to mention Jodha is taking this haughty stand of not forgiving Jalal, when has she ever apologized or thanked Jalal for what he has done for her so far right from their marriage?
The fort given to Sukanya in her marriage only because of Jodha and the marriage took place smoothly, before this that 'narnal' fiasco where Jalal was on the verge of death because of her stupidity and yet she never apologized to him but yes put on and made innumerable 'lep', Jalal took that strong stand to stand by her religion, then that body heat track where Jalal took all the flak not only from her but his mother as well, his unshakable faith in the "murtikand" issue...but every time she neither stooped down or apologized nor thanked Jalal...EVER!

On the other hand Jalal had made many many mistakes but every time he had apologized sincerely to Jodha and had learnt from his mistakes as well, his character growth all through out has been consistent. He never committed the same mistake twice and at every juncture his respect, faith and love for Jodha grew.

I am not biased fan, I watch for both Jalal and Jodha and to me CV's have completely butchered Jodha's character! Jalal was unbearable in the miscarriage track, to some extent in the Benazir track as well but he never fell to this level of his endless blind and haughty pride, arrogance and ego!

CV's you all better wake up before it is too late! I want to see the old Jalal back please who had a backbone, strong, ruthless and powerful, I don't want to see a henpecked husband who is following his wife every where leaving his kingdom, masses and family.

Didn't mean to re-tell the story, was just recounting the times he has been wrong. Yes, it takes two hands to clap and he has had his hand raised all along, and she is raising her hand as well to make that clap happen :) and what does he have to do? Convince her he will never doubt her again and that past history of repeatedly questioning her character will never happen again. That is quite a lot of convincing as he has continued to make the same mistake time and time again. And if she needs time to be certain that he means it this time, she should have that time.

I just want to ask one question to those

and go back to the husband who asked you to get of your house, who has
called you characterless, having an affair with someone else.

She
doesnt want to give the room to Jalal - eventhough he is a Shahenshah
to do this again to her or any other woman. It gives an impression
that, talk and do whatever you want, he will plead guilty, fall at her
feet and everything is hunky dory again. No... sorry... thats not how
it works in the present century. Thats the twist that the CVs are
presenting here.

I just recently completed 18 years of marriage, I
understand my husband totally... i know him inside out, but, if he dare
to even give me questionable looks (he need not even talk 😆)
, I would just walk out of the house. I shall return only on my own
terms, never with blackmails and pleadings, even if it were Bill Gates
or FB's Zuckerberg.

Viji

Viji, I agree with you whole heartedly. I have been married long as well and if my husband doubted me for being silent or for whatever reason, he would have a lot of manofying to do and like you, I would return only on my own terms.

She is on home turf just as he was when he asked her to leave his court. And she acted like a petulant child, no doubt, but he rightly said it was his wife and he would handle the matter. She is upset with him and does not want to be touched by him (last time he did other than the river incident was when he had accused her of having an extra marital affair), he is well aware of her reluctance, so when he held her hand in public, she snatched it away. She has made it clear she doesn't want to touch him or be touched and he has made every attempt to break down her resistance (refusing the lep being applied by the daasis). Given time, they will both make amends a plenty and make it up to each other.
