Yes it was pretty evident in gunday and one of the reasons why I thought Arjun was way better than him biggest proof of this is the scene when Arjun calls him and tell hims to come to the factory and Ranveers dialogue mein araha hoon or something totally sucked! I was laughing at that point. Not alot ppl notice these kinda things but it stands out to me.

Ranveer Singh has amazing dialogue delivery. Definitely better than Arjun Kapoor's who can barely say a line without botching it with his hamminess😆 Watch Ranveer's dialogue delivery as the soft-spoken Varun in Lootera and as the fierce Ram in Ram-Leela if you don't believe me.

I loved Lootera and his performance but his voice modulation wasn't as good. I mean not only me but from critics to general people said that. But again it's my opinion and I liked everything about the film but just one thing I thought they could have made a lil better.
Other than that, he is a brilliant performer. But yes he was better in Ramleela in terms of voice modulation coz it was dubbed.

😕 In all the movies that I have seen of Arjun's, I can hardly understand what he is saying. He doesn't have a clear diction at all and mumbles half of the time. Doesn't enunciate well at all.

Wooo i was just pointing that out to my friend. I found myself looking at the subtitles when he was talking in 2 states. He does tend to mumble a lot, and so his dialogues becomes inaudible.

For Ranveer, I think dialogue delivery isn't his problem, its his voice. I don't know how to describe it, but its a bit nasally. So you kind of don't take his emotional, serious scenes seriously.

No I'm talking about dialogue delivery but I didn't find anything wrong with his voice either 😕

I always thought that, and Kangana has bad dialogue delivery too. They are both good actors, so it's easy to overlook these things, but if you are one to nitpick it becomes obvious.
