😭 Sainik 😭
These hard working people, probably spend more time burning calories by standing all day, compared to their leaders, like lets say Mahamurk, who sits all day, and has a short burst of action, then sits/ sleeps again, while the poor sainik is busy healing his comrades, guarding mahamurkh, guarding palace, or just patrolling the area .. . . .
Examples. .. / Scenarios. . .
- In wars, they die in massive numbers, . . . under the command of their generals. . . but thats how wars are. . they just fight till their leader dies, where some fight on, some retreat. . 😭
- They stand on castle walls still. . usually facing only one direction. . such a limited scene view for a good couple of hours. . 😭 So if they dont look around much, how can they spot incoming attackers? maybe few of the have patrol duty, but then. . dont they get bored patrolling the same area over and over again. . . but i guess life was made easier by rotations. . e.g. gatekeepers wud switch to patrol units, and vice versa. . so they get a chance to grab a breather. . .
- in the palace. . .poor guards again. . all they do mostly is guard entrances/exits. . and stand their long hours. . usually in pairs, staring at each other. .. when night falls, if mahamurkh forgets to tell them to go home, they will fall asleep while standing. . imagine what happens to their blood flow. . .how will they chase someone when they might wake up with tingly feet. . .
- the poor guards also dont have good weapons. . . example, the mahmurkh palace guards equipped with spears only. . .assuming there is an attack, and they throw the spear, they will be weapon-less. . .at least they deserve bow and arrow, with a bug stockpile of arrows close to them, and replacement bows. . .thats what i calla a security. .
- in some cases, imagine, their spears aer also crooked. . like the guards chasing pratap when he came to bijolia, one of them had a slightly bent spear. . that spear is useless, if thrown on target, it will surely defiate thanks to air resistance not evenly distributed. .
- again another sad situation for them, when the royals and friends eat, they are busy guarding them. . .willl they get fed? maybe later. . or from whats left. . .shud be nice if cvs someday show pratap doing army services, ensuring their welfare, it was nice they showed pratap once checkin out their weapons, i was thinking, perhaps pratap shown to ensure army is well fed. . and i need more speeches perhaps . . . when ajab/phool made food came, poor soldiers might have also want so badly to eat. .. but all they can really do is face the other side, and just look away. . .nahi dekha jaraha. . muh me pani uncontrollable. . .😭
SO its easy to assume soldiers dont go a good job guarding or what not. . but the main issue is for their leaders/generals, to ensure soldiers are well trained, that their duties are less monotonous like staring at each other while guarding for hours. . , that they are well fed, that they are provided with proper weapons, and alternatives also. . that even their security is taken care of, e.g. a patrol guard on each floor/ segment of palace so that like yesterday, SS wud have perhaps been spotted if there was a seperate guard patrolling. . . sadly enuf ever after the maid yelling for help, not a single soldier was in position close to the radius of the voice projection. . again the laeders are responsible for proper allocations. . . so I would call this failure of the palace guard allocators. . .
Anyways guys. . I dunno what I just wrote, I just wrote it. . .forgive me if there are parts u did not like. . .but this was just my way of in a short time, raw way, dedicating a post to the sainiks of those times. . MP is a historical serial, soldiers are a key part due to wars. . .CVs have done few instances of showing care for soldiers, like Udai and mahamurkh deciding to not make soldiers stampede on foot , and decided to go ahead on their own when defending bijolia. . Praatp speeches to army aer always fantastic. . but I think the audience wud loev to see some subtle smaller moments. . e.g. pratap friendship with a small soldiers batalion, , maybe include his friends and make that battalion the elite guard. . . CVs showed training times when pratap was preparing to retake afghan stolen areas. . .so that was good, but perhaps more interaction with soldiers. . .
anyways, i hope u guys understand what I mean. . .i dunno why again i made this post lol. . just felt like it. .. so yeah. . 😊
