Mahadev TVM 2.1 (last week 2.4)

Oh no 0.95 TRP fallen below 1 getting worse I thought last week epi's where far better than the earlier weeks

Show is sinking badly 😔

dkdm show is declining day by day. TRPs going down. Show must end soon.

OK..now this may sound a bit silly but I always wondered what r TRPs?.. n how r they measured?.. what do they signify?.. I have a general idea that a higher TRP means a TV show is doing good I.e. people r watching it.. but what a TRP or TRM of 2.1 mean?.. does it mean 2.1 million viewers or something?.. please excuse my ignorance..😆😕

DKDM TRP was a disaster in the Sati era it only picked up after Mahadev took Rudra avatar of Veerbhadra to kill Daksh which was the the biggest turning point of that story. Though there was some talk of the love story the fact it is Sati era was never a TRP gainer.


The era from Veerbhadra TRP was 2.2 which changed the face of DKDM. It just kept getting bigger from there.

Mahadev/Parvati wedding (5)
Mahakaali TRP(8.2) broke all records
Karthikeya Killing Tarakasur (5.1)
Ganesh beheading (6)

The show saw highest TRP's till the time of Ashok Sundari wedding it started dipping a little after that but still good.
During that era show was in TOP 10 shows especially the whole phase from Mahadev Parvati wedding to Ganesh beheading.

Jalandhar was the last which saw high TRP of (4)

After that show was avg to below Ramayan getting TRP's down very badly and Sati Rahasiya era almost sinking the ship now. Show is not able to recover from the fiasco of Sati Rahasiya though Banasur track is decent.


TVM (Television Viewership in Million) divide that by 2.2 and you get the weekly TRP (Television Rating Point). The above TVM when calculated comes to 0.95 which is 1 for last week and that is pretty low.
DKDM has been going down badly in recent months not that it was great last year too but much better than what it is now.

It's bad!

But I think channel should promote the show properly. Since last few months they are just not showing DKDM promos.

Earlier there was so much media coverage also. There is little of that now.

Tracks' appeal or lack of it aside, promotion also makes a lot of difference in today's times.

I hope this show doesn't just sink like this. It's a trendsetter. Even when it bows out, it should be with dignity!
