RanVeera trying to pacify Ratan: What went wrong?

Usually I love RanVeera scenes but today the scene fell flat for me. I was unable to connect with the Kanha skit done by RanVeera to pacify Ratan, the only part which connected with me is when Ratan ran to hug Ranvi leaving Veera out. I felt for Veera there because it reminded me of child Veera who used to wonder why Ratan treated her so differently and why Ranvi used to have to pull her in to feel some affection from Ratan.

I agree with you because the scene was flat to me as well. Veera was in the skit as well and Ratan should've hugged her too. Seeing Veera dress up as Ratan reminded me of the time when she wore Ratan's clothes and looked just like her, so she could feel close to her because Ratan wouldn't hug or touch her.😒 It seems like Ratan only hugged Ranvi because she only forgave Ranvi for lying and hiding the truth but didn't forgive Veera. This goes to show that Ratan still hasn't accepted Veera as her daughter because I can't see any other reason why she wouldn't hug or forgive her.

I agree with you Mandy! The kanha skit by Ranvi and veera fell flat for me as well.
Personally that's the scene that would have been best for preleap Ranvi and veera to have done. Post leap veera and Ranvi performing kanha skit looked out of place in my opinion.

And yeah I agree the only similarity was that ratan once again only hugged Ranvi, leaving veera left out but this time veera hugged back.

And i don't know why once again during one of the kanha scenes between Ranvi and veera, they looked more like a couple than brother sister! 🤢 sorry I just couldn't see their "sibling bond" in that scene. 😆 ( please don't throw chappals at me). 😕

I just saw this scene and believe me when I say this, I found it really really funny 😆 😆 ( And I dont think it was supposed to be that way 😛 )

What I didn't understand was, Ranvi is going through a huge personal crisis.. And so is his family.. How can people come with such skits and ideas when their mind is preoccupied with different thoughts 🤔
This scene didn't make any sense at all in this situation.. Such a misfit..


Let me give an example of a situation where CVs could have used this scene and it would have clicked with the audiences :- Ranvi loves Gunjan and wants to marry her- Veera knows abt it- Ratan comes to know abt it after overhearing their talks - feels sad realising his son has been hiding this from her - confronts them - they do this skit for manaoing her ! 😳

I feel the same, I thought she was starting to accept her but today it was evident that is far from being the case. I noticed her tone of voice towards Veera when she tried to tell her about Gunjan, there was still this anger in her voice while with Ranvi she softened which I found unfair.

Mohini, Ratan was warming up to veera...now after this fiasco Ratan-veera equation is back to square one. Atleast that's what I felt.
