For a father and a mother, does child hold priority as compared to spouse and why?

There should be balance. Well in this case for both dad or mom, things can be different.

kid is a priority no matter what. there should be a balance? i think some maintain a healthy balance between the child and spouse while others think they have spent enough time with their spouse 😆 😆 😆 and they are so done with them that they plan to give priority to their kid 😆 😆 😆 . just kidding, i think for any mother a kid is always a prioirity 😃

P.S.yeh kaisa sawal hai raj? 😆 hey i see you on the way to marriage by the way, rani abhi tak pati nahi hai waise 😉 be ready to take the criticism of wife and husband here 😆 😆 😆 idhar dono ki tang bohot kheenchne wali hai 😆 😆 😆

Anshu yeh to bahut purana sawal hai jiska koi seedha jawab hai hee nahin. I think there is no hard & fast rule who will have priority as it will dpened on circumstances and the time. For example, if spouse needs to catch the flight & on the other side child is asking for somehitng so what's the priority? I think you have to ignore child at this time & take care of spouse. But let us assume at the same time instead of child asking for something if he/she started vomitting or sick which turning worse then I think both parents will take care of child... so in my opinion it all depends on time too not just the relationship.

Agreed with manjudi.....

I feel.... as far as child is concerned.... the priority comes when its concerned with education, health, culture etc.... otherwise spouse is always the priority 😆

It depends upon the situation and circumstances as manjuji mentioned. Whosoever needs is urgent and requires first priority, attention is given to that need first. 😳 Other than the major issues like health, education, the priority should be balance with respect to child or hubby/wife, so that nobody feels neglected. 😊

To me its a no brainer, what's the whole confusion about?..It has to be the spouse who gets the priority in normal situations..

In times of emergencies like health situations etc, obviously whoever is facing the situation will get the highest priority..And also the child's age needs to be considered too...Even then the Spouse should never be neglected, if the couple is planning to be married happily ever after...
