Well what a mind-blowing episode I must say, that this was the Most Awaited Dance of the Season!! Well with summer on, the weather seems to getting hotter!!
There are just a few things that I just can't seem to wrap my head around.
1. I think it missed the "OOmph" factor that I was expecting, is it because we as viewers have seen a too many of such dance moves? well how hard is it to have a slow romantic dance rather than weird lift and moves!!
2 A truly missed opportunity by the choreography team, who could otherwise have had an electrifying PaRud dance. I definitely did not expect characters like Paro and Rudra to have bold moves, which looked rehearsed. Natural chemistry is felt not imposed!! After all RR is known for it's uniqueness, so why not have a dance involving all the actors. We could have had VK singh ji and his wife too sway away, and let's not forget Aman could have had a chance to show his dancing skills!! I am sure all the single ladies would have looved to shake a leg with the "Pappu can't dance sala"' guy!!
3 The song - Well the mood was set, Rudra all mesmerized with the Paro's beauty, an order by Geethanajali mam to stay on the floor (definitely the winner in this situation!!) , a scared Paro, a confident Rudra ki sambhal loonga, bharosa rakh and then Boom - A song from last year and the floor is all theirs with them some how knowing all the styles of dancing!! Bollwood has a billion songs, more than the population on this earth and this is what they thought could relate to PaRud? Well a few daysback some one suggested a classic vintage song " Lag ja gale" , that could have worked, its just the voice, lyrics of that song that had me listen to it!! With a song like that, or any other, and PaRud khooye huye in it would have made it an EPIC moment!!
4 I simply cannot relate to the glam look that Paro undertook. (Sanaya looked gorgeous, no doubts there, she simply carries herself beautifully!!) Paro looked a bit over dressed, they could have toned it down a bit, I am sure Rudra being a fan of her simplicity, is lot more appealing rather than having her dab loads of make up like Laila and have him go over it.
So yes we did see Rudra Banna have his "Kuch Kuch hota hai" moment yesterday!!
Having a nashe mein Shriman and Shirmati Rudra Pratap Ranawat is way more romantic than the dance!!
