On Earth Day, TV actors share views on how to make Earth a better place to live

Every 22 April, we celebrate Earth Day to educate people on the kind of changes we can make in our everyday lives so that we can reduce the environmental impact and make this world a better place to live.

This day, celebrated in the name of our beautiful planet, is to educate why leading an environmentally-friendly lifestyle is important for all of us.

In a talk with Tellychakkar.com TV actors share their views on how to make the Earth a better place to live.

Kratika Sengar: I strongly believe in saving water and electricity. You can never see me wasting natural resources. The other day at the entrance of my apartment someone had thrown a coffee cup. I immediately picked it up and threw it in the dustbin. It is surprising to see how educated people can do such an act. I think if each and every person makes an effort then we can surely bring in the change.

Gurmeet Choudhary: My dad was in the army and had his posting changed every one or two years. So since I was a child, I got into the habit of planting bushes or trees wherever we stayed in a quarter. I think it is very important to increase plantations to make mother Earth a better place to live in.
