Dil Dostii Dance completes 3 years on air! With the D3 Girls
11th April 2011, saw for the very 1st time, an entire bunch of fresh face on Channel V's Youth Show', Dil Dostii Dance! It is now 11th April 2014, which marks 3 years of the show being on air, and from what it seems like, an even longer way to go! So on this lovely day for the entire cast and crew of D3, urlremoved speaks with the current on air cast girls as well as the show's current creative director,of this amazing loved by all show, about how they feel of this lovely achievement, and some old memories they will always remember!
Ameeta Devadigga (Current Creative Director of D3)- Its an absolute pleasure to be a part of D3! In times when GEC shows don't last more than a year...its amazing to have a youth show to successfully complete 3 years! And hopefully we shall have many more such reasons to celebrate in the future! Lots of love and a big thank you to all.
Vrushika Mehta (Sharon Rai Prakash)- I am extremely happy that D3 has completed 3 years on air today, and sad too, that I wasn't part of it from the beginning. My journey on this show which has now completed more than a year, has been lovely, and the entire D3 unit is like my family now! It's unbelievable that the show has reached such a great stage, but a very big achievement for us all. I would like to thank Palki Ma'am a lot, for giving me this wonderful opportunity, and for taking care of me as well as training me so well! She has been like a mother to me throughout and will always be! She has designed the character of Sharon perfectly which requires no changes at all, and it is because of her that I am where I am today. A big thank you to the entire D3 team and unit as well who have always supported me from the time I joined in, and who have all also worked very hard to come to this day! A big thank you to all the D3 fans as well, who have always loved and supported us so much! Lots and lots of love to everyone.
Samentha Fernandes (Simmi)- It's a big big day for us all today! It's D3s birthday and the entire casts birthday as actors too! It's a very emotional day for me! It is because of Palki Ma'am that we are all here today and so I would like to thank her from the bottom of my heart for giving us this lovely opportunity and making us who we are today! D3 has just given us so so much! Memories to last for a lifetime and friendship that means the world to me today. I remember the very first days of shooting, I was actually pretty blank! We were all so giddy headed and would start laughing at anything in the middle of the shot! Specially the tashan tashan wala looks. Oh god, what fun! There are so many memories that way so pinpointing a few is going to be tough. And also, a huge thank you to all our fans for their undying love and support towards the show. D3 has reached 3 years today, all because of you guys! Lots of love to all.
Priyanka Soni (Rinni)- D3 has been a very special journey for me! 3 years and I really don't know how time has flown by so fast! D3 has changed all our lives which has been great! A lot of fun memories which I will always remember. Specially all the fun outdoor shoots at Silent Resort where we played some awesome games after packup and had a great time! Dil Dostii Dance was, is and will always be very special to me! Thank you all for so much love and support!
