Scene 1
The story continues from the previous part. Sachin enters the fish marke... whoops, bureau, saying that he's been in contact with all police checkpoints and there's no news of ACP sir or Daya sir. Dr. Salunkhe enters with Dr. Pramod and introduces the latter, who explains about the goondas and removing the bullet from Daya sir's body, and tells the shocked team that the conditions in that place aren't ideal for an injured person. He says he has no idea about the location of their hideout as he was blindfolded when being taken there, but agrees to have them sketched. Dr. Tarika arrives and is surprised to see Salunkhe sir, who asks about the DNA report of the blood found upon the pant. She reluctantly reveals that it's Daya sir's blood and Abhijeet sir's pant.
Scene 2
We see a couple walking on the road. Suddely, a lady comes up and starts interacting with the man saying he's her husband Ketan who's a police officer. The other lady insists he's her husband Jai and a marketing manager. The man holds out an I-card saying he is Jai, but the first lady is in denial and says he disappeared 6 years ago while working on a case. The other one realizes they were married five years ago. The man gets angry and leads her away. A stranger is seen watching all this from a distance.
Scene 3
Dr. Salunkhe questions why Abhijeet sir didn't hand over the pant as evidence and reveal that he was there at the place when Daya sir was injured. Abhijeet sir says he doesn't remember at all what happened that night. Freddy sir and Sachin second him, and the latter asks him to remember anything from that situation. Abhijeet sir thinks hard and remembers the man Teja darting into a getaway car, and being shot and flung out soon after, and himself being injected from behind when he rushed to him. Next thing he knew was awakening on the roadside. Salunkhe sir says the bullet taken from Daya sir's body will help them further in the case, and leaves with Dr. Tarika. Abhijeet sir asks Dr. Pramod to stay for sketching the thugs, and answering some questions. Dr. Pramod answers that he was abducted at Pratapnagar and blindfolded, and it took them 40-45 minutes to get to the thugs' hideout, at around 10:30 PM (at a time with less traffic). Abhijeet sir asks Shreya to fetch a map and mark the locations around 40 minutes away from Pratapnagar, but she quietly leaves, looking upset and saying she's unwell.
Scene 4
The man Jai is seen arguing with his wife Maya who suspects the other lady they met was telling the truth. She demands to know the truth and go to his office to find out, and shuts him out when he tries to delay her demand. The doorbell rings and Jai answers it, and is surprised to see the person outside.
Scene 5
It's revealed that the man Jai/Ketan saw is none other than ACP sir. He leads Ketan to a desolate alley and, despite the latter's protests about his 6 years' efforts for the mission, orders him to abort it and leave as his life is in danger. He instructs him to meet at a certain bus stop and leaves before Ketan can insist more.
Scene 6
In the bureau, Abhijeet sir and Sachin discuss together with Dr. Pramod about 4 possible locations of the hideout, all of which are around 45 minutes away from Pratap Nagar. Abhijeet sir deduces that Chitrakoot Nagar - with several shops, and Vidyadhar Nagar - with film two studios, are two most likely spots. Shreya returns and says she won't rest until their colleagues have been found. Dr. Pramod remembers that a certain song was playing periodically near the hideout. Sachin deduces some film was being shot there, meaning it's in Vidyadhar Nagar. Abhijeet sir instructs him to find out the studio where this song was being played.
Scene 7
We see Daya sir badly chained in a dilapidated room. A group of thugs enters and vilely taunts that they're planning to kill the entire CID team, gloating what a brainiac their boss is. Daya sir defies them, but they just laugh mockingly and leave. One of them stays behind and points his gun at Daya sir.
Scene 8
The team led by Abhijeet sir arrives at the studio where the song was being shot. They enter with weapons drawn and split up; Abhijeet sir and Purvi move together and find the place where Daya sir had been chained, enraged and shocked at the sight of the blood and chains. Dushyant finds a warm cup of tea, implying the thugs didn't get far still. They move outside and discover that on one of the sets, a lady named Ritu has been murdered. The crew members said they heard a gunshot half an hour ago. Abhijeet sir notices that the bullet passed clean through the victim's skull, and instructs the others to search for it. He examines the corpse and is surprised to see that she was wearing a wig. Purvi soon finds the bullet and it turns out to be a rifle's. An actress Lavanya there explains Ritu was her hairdresser and the wig was to be used by her. Abhijeet sir construes that the killer mistook Ritu for Lavanya due to the wig, and she was his actual target.
Scene 9
In the forensic lab, Dr. Salunkhe explains that Ritu was shot with a 0.338 calibre bullet from a sniper rifle. With a trajectory diagram he shows that it was fired from about two storeys behind the victim. He starts hoping to solve the case about Daya sir and the undercover officers and leaves.
Scene 10
Dushyant and the others are seen in a vacant studio near the murder spot. The watchman tells them that a plumber had come there and went up to the second floor to apparently fix a pipe. Dushyant and others climb up and notice that the killer must've had a clean aim at Ritu from the window there. Nikhil finds the bullet shell nearby. The watchman says he cannot identify the watchman as he couldn't properly see his face without his glasses. Dushyant says Lavanya surely has some enemy who wishes to kill her. (I figured that much out as well. 😛 )
Scene 11
In the bureau, the team looks up Lavanya's history and discovers that she wasn't very rich or famous in her career, and thus unlikely to attract enemies. Sachin says that Ritu doesn't seem to have any enemies either. Abhijeet sir says that there's surely some valuable clue hidden in the articles about Lavanya. Pankaj finds a 3-day old news report about Lavanya's belongings being stolen from one Blue Eve resort.
Scene 12
The team along with Lavanya arrives at her hotel resort room where she had stayed. She explains that around 2000 rupees and some artificial jewelery was stolen. The hotel manager says that the police found out the thief had used a proper key to get into the room. Lavanya says only she and the management had the keys to the room. The manager insists that none of the staff is involved. Kavin says that either a staff member is involved or the thief managed to steal the key and get a duplicate created. Lavanya suggests the cops to drop this issue as it's quite petty, but Dushyant says they suspect the man out to killer had something to do with the theft. Purvi asks her to remember if any other valuables were stolen. Lavanya remembers that a certain showpiece belonging to Ritu had been stolen, and she was extremely upset after that. She adds that it was merely an ordinary item purchased from a certain shop selling Chinese goods.
Scene 13
The team arrives at the Chinese shop in question and interrogates the shopkeeper about Ritu and her showpiece. The shopkeeper says that on the day mentioned, he was on leave and his assistant Sushant there was in charge. Sushant says he remembers nothing as there were too many customers on Saturday. Dushyant notices some boxes marked with an "X" and demands a reluctant Sushant to show them. While opening it, a statue accidentally falls out and is smashed, revealing several sachets of drugs inside. The shopkeeper accuses Sushant of peddling drugs behind his back, but Dushyant orders for both of them to be arrested. As they're being taken away, Sushant knocks down Nikhil and tries to escape. The cops surround him and hand him a butt-kicking session, but he manages to run anyway and, before they can catch him, is struck dead (possibly intentionally) by an oncoming truck. (Now, what the fudge was this? As if seven-on-one isn't enough, after taking all that beating the guy just keep running as though nothing happened, and the cops watch him do it! Directors... kindly don't embarrass both of us with such scenes.) Kavin wonders who is behind this drug racket due to which Ritu was killed.
Scene 14
A disguised ACP sir is seen on a road, vigilantly watching passing vehicles and gun subtly concealed but ready. Eventually Jai/Ketan arrives to meet him with a bag. ACP sir says he's in danger as someone has found out about all of them undercover cops and is terminating them one by one. He hands over an envelope with a ticket to Bhopal and 10,000 rupees, and instructs him to get away at once. An unknown man is seen watching them from a rooftop with binoculars. Suddenly, Jai collapses and starts frothing at the mouth. ACP sir tries to help him, only to discover he's dead. He laments greatly that he was unable to save another undercover cop from being murdered.
Scene 15
In the bureau, Shreya is tense as ACP sir and Daya sir are still not to be contacted. Sachin tries to assure her that both of them must be fine. ACP sir arrives at this point and explains that he had to stay away without telling them due to a secret mission. He's shocked to learn that Daya sir has been shot and is missing. Sachin informs him about how Dr. Pramod removed the bullet from Daya sir and handed it over to Dr. Salunkhe. Shreya and Dushyant inform how Abhijeet sir was missing as well, Daya sir's blood was found on his pant and he remembers nothing. ACP sir laments it and says there's a traitor among them, due to whom their enemies found out about the identities of three undercover officers only he knew about. Sachin informs about Ritu's murder case and hands over a paper they found on Sushant's body, which contains some numbers. ACP sir remarks that they don't look like telephone numbers.
Scene 16
ACP sir and the others arrive at the forensic lab. Dr. Salunkhe hands over the ballistic report and informs them that the bullets used to shoot the undercover cops Kallu and Bhiku were fired from Abhijeet and Daya sirs' guns respectively. Freddy sir insists that duo can never commit such a horrendous deed. ACP sir receives a call from Abhijeet sir and orders him to arrive at the lab at once. Abhijeet sir is shocked to learn that he's been alleged to shoot Kallu, and says that he will not come to the lab until he finds out the truth. He respectfully tells ACP sir that he's not going against him but trying to his duty as he himself taught him, and disconnects. Dr. Salunkhe holds up another report which shows that the bullet found in Daya sir's body came from Abhijeet sir's gun. The team is stunned to hear this. The episode ends with a dramatic shot of Abhijeet sir in a cap and sunglasses.

PS - I cut short the details of certain scenes involving the brutal vandalizing of one of our most beloved characters, to spare agony to those readers who've been fortunate enough not to watch the scenes in question. I hope the creatives take a long, hard and honest look at what they are doing to the wonderful characters they themselves created so masterfully years ago.
