A lot of people have commented on the flawed and broken nature of the man paro has fallen in love with but I think that paro too is flawed and broken, just in a more subtle way. Do not get me wrong she has a silent strength, perseverance and innocence few other characters can relate to, but she has her flaws too Here is a women deceived by fate itself, a women betrayed by the very people she had called her own only to be saved by her greatest enemy. Paro is women who no longer knows who to trust except rudra. The way I see it she trusts the people rudra trusts and not her own instincts. She was a women so sheltered and naive that she thought the best of everyone. The last few months of her life have shaken the very foundation of her beliefs and turned them upside down. She is broken too because she needs rudra as much as he needs her. She has found that in a world full of betrayal and deception, rudra despite his faults is the one person she can trust, the one person she can truly rely on to protect her. With him she knows where she stands, with him she knows her friends and her enemies through him. She might not seem obviously broken but she is too. She had fallen in love with because she trusts him, can relate to him and understands him more than she understands even herself. She needs him just as much as he needs her, she needs him to protect her and call her own. She places her trust in him and his instincts and not her own because she now longer trysts her own judgement, because so far she always been wrong. She has a very rose tinted view of the world and while rudra needs this to heal his broken heart and damaged soul, she needs his raw power, energy and honesty to keep her grounded. He is he one person she knows will never lie to her, he may be cruel and unrelenting at times but he is a also honest, brutally so. He will not treat her like a doll, with condensation and almost tolerance, he treats her as an equal and thus gives her the strength to fight for herself and him. She would not be the person she is without him, in fact she would be equally broken, a part of her still is but he gives her hope, just as she gives him a reason to live and feel. In a world where they trust no one here are two people who unknowingly cling to each other, giving what the other needs without understanding how or get why and without asking for anything in return.
