Asha & Himesh in another tiff
We were all aware that there were some differences between Asha Bhosle and Himesh Reshammiya when the former commented on late R.D. Burman. Then we also came to know that they had made up after Asha sang a song for Aap Ka Suroor.
Now we all know that Asha is a judge at the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 and Himesh a mentor. Though Himesh has touched Asha's feet to prove to the world that there were no grudges against them, there was a tiff between them on the very first day.
There is a Pakistani contestant by the name of Mussarat Abbas, who as singing the same kind of songs. Asha objected to it and asked him to sing another song so they could analyze his performance better.
Himesh raised a question as to why he should be singing another song when he expertise in a genre of songs. Even vishal and Shekhar supported Himesh's view. Thus a tiff broke out and finally when Mussarat sang a different song; everyone was impressed especially Himesh who even promised him a break no matter where he stands in the competition.
Poor Mussarat has lost all hopes and confidence. He feels that if he sings the same kind of songs, Asha won't be impressed and if he sings different kind of songs he might be able to deliver good performances.
In this confusion, Mussarat decided to quit but after much persuasion, he agreed to sing in the competition. - (SAMPURN)
