and like u said she told her to care of DV and her family and in return she fulfilled her wish of loving her like a mother...
again this was just "give and take"...u take care of my family and in return i will treat u like a daughter...

so today again wen she is seeing DV's life will be spoiled since he cant become a dad therefore again she reverts to her old self which is actually her real self...wen first she told her to leave DV she was only concerned about her family and did not care about saachi's feelings...today she is doing the same...she is concerned about DV and doesnt hesitate to hurt saachi...

therefore how she is treating saachi is not any issue because this is how she is...as a mother and a wife only family matters and nothing else...

but wat strikes me as horrible is her exclusive attitude with saachi...wen suparna is pouring venom in her ears against saachi...neena got carried away and started focusing on how DV cant become a dad...how about asking suparna y she is not becoming a mother...anway is married longer than DV and yet is still childless and going by suparna's attitude she has no plans in near future...

neena is just like any other typical MIL whose attitude will again change wen she will learn that saachi is pregnant...i only wish saachi from then on stops accepting her as mother but only as MIL and maintains distance with her...

A mother is a mother is a mother ! An epitome of unconditional love...a mother will go beyond and above for her child

There are mother live relations which have same qualities, but are very delicate..at first sign of priorities ,preferences and conflict,they can break,cause dilemma or heart break! ( I am generalizing this of course exceptions are always there )

A mother in law is always a mother in law she cannot be a mother...it's a myth...( again I am generalizing, exceptions are always there ) she has dual personality : her son's mother and mother like to her daughter in law.as long as the daughter in law is good for her son,family,she obeys,everything is good.she is a mother and indulges her daughter in law,but any conflict or matter of priorities ,she becomes mother in law !

That exactly happened between Neena and Saachi ...we all know Saachi's qualities...so Neena indulges her...but now the child bearing issue has started and she turned mother in law...DV's mom,thinking only about her son,his future,his loss and her family...suddenly Saachi has become ex family member, a stranger whose feelings are her least priority now...she even regrets getting them married...see how delicate that was ! In a second from mother she turned into mother in law ! Her support love and respect for Saachi took a back seat,got buried in her concern for her son.she even stepped up and told her to leave her son and the house ! I am not blaming her...of course it's human nature..I am just talking about a mother and mother like relations.of course there are bad mothers also but very very low percentage of them.

Recall DV Saachi marriage scene...DV was suffering so she begged Saachi to marry him...after marriage she asked Saachi to look after her family and her son...in return Saachi asked her to be her mother and not mother in law...Saachi kept her promise...helped DV progress in life,was keeping him happy,and finally even agreed to get out of his life if need be! ...

Tell me who is keeping her promise ? Neena or Saachi ? That's why I call it a myth...a mother in law is a mother in law...not a mother! If Saachi had a mother how would she react? And how would Neena react if this happened to Isha ? Two sides to a coin !

True a MIL can not become a mother but there are few exceptions and very rare.

In this process DV will get hurt either way.

Excellent post you are right only a mother can understand her child and accept her good and bad qualities.Neena would have not accepted Saachi if she was bad Neena knew that she is a very good human being.In reality as you say a Mother in law can never become a Mother.In the long run she will always find faults with her daughter in law however good she is.
