Why the lies?

Hello Everyone

Am from Mauritius and absolutely love EMA especially our two love birds who has this absolute magic between them!

Just wanted to understand why is Kalpi lying so much to her mum...I mean, I know Kamla seems to have become recently overly dependent on Neetoo and Pakhi and this is very irritating- but in another perspective, you can understand that she is worried for her daughter...

I mean Vitthal & Kamla knew that Kalpi was helping to organise the party so instead of lying and saying that she was in the office during the 2 days of preparations, Kalpi could have just said that she was at Raghav's place for the preparations (omitting the details, of course!)

Then in the precap for Monday, Kalpi could have explained that she had to stay back and sort things out instead of saying she was with Pakhi

Kalpi is such a beautiful character and seeing her telling lies just spoils it a bit for me

Hope I have not angered anyone by expressing my opinion

C previously kalpi hasnt told kamla that she has been going to raghav's house for party prep coz kamla had made an issue bout kalpi going alone with raghav to ali baug... similarly if she has said she stayed behind to arrange stuff kamla wud hv asked y alone so late in d night at a guy's house... to avoid those questions kalpi lied n also coz she doesnt wanna reveal bout raghav n herself so soon...

Kalpi is forgetting that her aai speaks to pakhi more often than kalpi...

Kalpi is wrong in lying but her love for raghav coupled with insecurities that her aai will stop her wrk if she comes to know bout ragna is making kalpi lie

You know I was thinking the same thing, by lying she is creating more doubt in Kamla's mind and Pakhi darling will be adding more fuel to the fire. Kalpi told Gauri that she is the host and Kamla heard her, all she had to say was it is her duty as host to make sure everything was completed and Rags brought her safely home Kamla loves, respects, and trust him.

Hey i'm also mauritian feel so good to see a compatriot lol ... Well you know it always difficult or feel unconfortable to say That you were with your boss alone and all That... especially for a girl like Kalpi you know what i mean ... But poor Kalpi she doesn't know That she is falling into her own trap 😕 BTW, a Warm welcome to the forum, enjoy yourself here and have a great Time ... So Happy That i met another mauritian, consider ma as your friend 😉

Some time young girls who do not normally go out can be little overwhelms in the initial periods of first love...may be that is why otherwise Kali knows that her aai is more closer to pakhi then her...I think if should have said raghav's name she should have been more safer...because her aai love him as well

I agree with what everyone has said so far.. I also think her reason maybe because she still has not developed that important bond with Kamla, not really her fault so much as it is Kamla.

when you are not really close to your parents, the tendency is there to lie, because you don't have much faith in their understanding of you. See how easy it was for Kalpi to tell Gauri how she felt, because Gauri is more open with her than her own Mother.

Same way Paakhi feels very comfortable telling Kamla about her feelings for Raghav, because Kamla gives her that confidence to open up to her and in that she will understand her feelings. It was bound to happen this way, from the start. Paakhi can tell Kamla anything but Kalpi never felt comfortable to do so, because Kamla created that rift with her own daughter. Kamla never discussed anything with Kalpi about her life, besides her being successful. I don't agree with lying, but maybe if I had a Mother like Kamla, I would lie too, I guess one has to be in Kalpi's position to understand.

Also, Kalpi knows her Mother has the same thinking about Rich guy and poor girl, it is going to take some time before she lets her know anything about Raghav and her.

I am okay wiht the fact that ,, she doesnot say that she is arranging party in rahgav's place,, coz it she , then pakhi would obviously comet there flying off😲

And about lie,, let her be ,, I think now Kamla will tell all this to Raghav and ask for help and raghav the great will get opportunities more😆
