GUYS I JUST MADE THIS INTO A TWO SHOT!
INDEX:
PART 1: Page 1.
PART 2: Page 5.
I was tired of updating my FF. So I thought, why not write something shorter like an OS or something. :P Also, there is a mention of a shoot-out in this OS and if obviously, everyone of you don't know wherefrom it came. So, just to let you know, there was a sequence of some shoot out that had happened in FITE in my FF Don't Confess. You can just read Part1-3 if you want to get acknowledged about it. Else, just carry on reading this!
Happy reading. <3
"Bindiya, payal, make up- sab kuchh ekdum erfect honi chahiye", he commanded.
"Make up?", she screeched. "I don't do make up."
"Do you need my help Sanyukta?", he asked.
"I do", she timidly said.
"Then be my slave for the next 3 days. Do you hear me?", he said.
"What? Randhir? You're-", she was about to argue but then it came to her arguing would lead only to her work not being complete.
"Fine. I'll do all that you want."
-"Also, wo ladkiyan kya sabb karti hain na? Wo kya kehte hain usse-vrat. Han. Vrat. Tumhe bhi Vrat rakhni padegi. Shaam ko puja karni padegi. Phir khaane ko haat lagana."
-"WHAT? Randhir! This is torture. Mujhey Vitamin D deficiency hain. Medicines leni padti hain."
-"Agar tumhe lagta hain ki 3 din medicines naa lene se tum mar jaogi, phir toh tum sara kaam khud hi kar sakti ho naa?"
Sanyukta heaved a sigh. "Fine, you MCP."
-"Mmm-hmm-hmm-kya kaha tumne?"
-"Sorry. Fine, I'll do it." 'Anything for you, Papa."
-----------------------------------------------------
"Ye baar baar ghoor ghoor key kya dekh rahe ho? Jo bhi insult karni thi wo toh class mein sab key saamne karli hain. Abb aur bhi kya baaki hain?" she startled a dazed Randhir with her words.
'Jitna bhi ghoor lun, I can never get enough of you Sanyukta.'
"Bass yahin dekh raha hun ki tum kaise apna time barbaad kar rahi ho", he lied.
"Main apna samay barbaad nahin kar rahi thi, main toh bas kuchh soch rahi thi. Dekho," she picked up a pencil and started drafting. "Basic unit ko agar shift karke-"
His glare stopped her from speaking.
-"Jab tak main ye project handle kar raha hun tab takk tum issmein apna taang matt arraao. Samjhi?"
"Arrey! Saara kaam tum karoge toh main kya karru? Tumhe entertain?", she stomped.
-"Not a bad idea. I'll work here for you, and you can entertain me!"
"Randhir maine subhah se kuchh nahin khaya. Mera sirr dukh raha hain. Itni torture kaafi nahin hain hain kya? Kahin tumko maar na du."
-"Oh! Khaaney sey yaad aya. Tum mere liye khana banaogi."
"YAHAN?"
-"Kyun? Tumhe meri help chahiye ki nahin?"
"Fine", she rolled her eyes and left.
Her head throbbed and eyes watered as she started chopping onions.
Randhir chuckled. "Dekha? Ladkiyon key haath mein screw driver nahin, cutlery achhi lagti hain."
"Tum apna kaam karoge?" she retorted.
-"Ab tum mujhey order karogi?"
"Okay. I'm sorry. Please?" she faked a sad face.
-"Better."
The course was ready. The smell made her even more hungry. She was starving already. 'Sadu kahika. Khana offer bhi toh karr sakta hain? Lekin nahin. MCP ko toh tameez naam ki kissi cheez key baarein mein pata hi nahin hain.'
She arranged the food on the plate and stood up. Her head felt heavy as she raised and that made her fall back to her seat with her eyes cringed. She supported herself against the table and stood up again. She took the plate in her shaky hands and place it on front
of Randhir. She tried her best to stand still, without falling. Randhir glanced at her once and rolled his eyes back.
"Serve karro", he ordered.
She stared at him for a while and then rolled her eyes, giving up on hoping he might spare her the torture. She spooned some food but before she could place it on the plate, her shaky hands dropped it and she collapsed on the floor.
Randhir shot up from his seat and sat down beside her.
"Sanyukta?" he shook her face. "Shit. Ye kya hua!?"
He picked her up and took her to the medical room where he lay her upon the bed. "Now what?"
He hammered his brain and finally an idea clicked his mind.
"Iski bag mein dekhta hun. Dawai ussi mein hoga."
So he went back to the lab and performed a quick postmortem of her bag. He found the medicine along with a prescription and was about to leave just when, he remembered about her not eating the entire day. He looked at the uneaten food on the table.
He felt bad of himself. 'Kya zarurath thi itni sakti karney ki? Isse agar kuchh ho gya toh who'll be held responsible, after all?'
He went back to the medical room.
"Sanyukta?" he made her sit up and slid a tablet inside her mouth and made her gulp some water.
"Ye kya nautanki hain? Khana kyun nahin khaya?", he scolded.
"Tumhi ne toh kaha tha." She said.
He tried to cover up for his fault. "Han..toh tumhe shaam ko khaana khaa leni chahiye thi naa? Time sense bhi nahin hain tumhe?"
"Hostel jaane ki time nahin thi" she mumbled.
"Isse khao", he pointed at her cooked food.
She looked at him.
"Come on. Quick. Mere paas puri raat nahin hain."
She fiddled with the food. Her hands were too weak to rise to her mouth.
Randhir witnessed her silly attempts and sighed.
"Tumhe thik se khana bhi khana nahin aata kya?", he snatched the plate away from her and fed her with his hands.
"Thusso muh mein. I have so much work left."
Sanyukta chewed the food and stared at him. 'Itne bude bhi nahin ho tum', she thought and smiled.
"Ye tum hass kyun rahi ho?" he asked.
-"Aise hi."
"Tum kitni stupid ho, Sanyukta?" he scolded.
"Chalo", she slipped her legs down the bed.
"KAHAN?" he asked.
"Lab?" she promptly replied while getting off.
"Koi zarurath nahi hain. Main akele karlunga", he stood up. Waise bhi, tum wahan rahogi toh I'll get distracted."
"Distracted?" she was confused.
Randhir realised what he just said and tried to cover up. "I mean, dhang se toh koi kaam kar nahin sakti ho. Jo bhi kaam hain main kar raha hun. Tumahri koi zarurath nahin hain."
"Lekin-"
"No means no. Jaa ke so jao", he ordered. He walked toward the switch board beside the door and placed his hand on the switch to turn it off but she stopped him.
"Randhir?"
-"Abb kya hain?"
"Mujhe raat ko akele mein darr lagta hain."
-"You're such a sissy Sanyukta. Abb kahan gyi tumhari do paiso ki girl power?"
"Randhir please. Mujhe bhi lab ley chalo?"
-"NO."
"Phir tum yahan rukk jao. Please?"
Randhir cringed his forehead and mouthed a 'what' and looked at her. But then, he did not want her to go to the lab again. "Fine."
He switched the light off and sat on a chair beside her bed. Ever since the shoot out that had taken place, she used to get nightmares that scared the hell out of her. She would wake up from her sleep and shriek everyday.
Sanyukta kept on blinking her eyes open every 2 minutes just to make sure he was there. At one point of time, she felt feverish and was too tired to open her eyes.
-"Randhir?"
"Kya hain?"
-"Kuchh nahin."
And then after a minute again she called his name out.
"Randhir?"
Randhir couldn't help but smile. He felt wanted and needed. He felt nice. He waited for some time.
"Randhir?" she called out again. This time sounding louder and disturbed.
"Main yahin hun", he said. Don't worry."
After around 10 minutes, on not hearing from her any further, he walked out to the lab and within few minutes, he was engrossed with completing her model.
Her body was slowly growing numb. There was blood all over the place and the wind that blew was cold. The numbness grew, preventing the warmth from his body from reaching her.
'I am dying.'
'I don't want to die, Randhir.'
"Randhir, I don't want to die."
"RANDHIR PLEASE!"
"Please.." she shut her eyes open.
"Randhir?", she mumbled, expecting him to reply only to be disappointing. She sat up.
"RANDHIR?"
Ranhdir heard her and instantly rushed back to the medical room and found her crying frantically.
"Shhh. I'm here", he came closer.
Sanyukta reached for hum and clung to his torso. "Kaha chaley gaye thhey? Tumne kyun jhoot bola? Tumne kaha tha naa nahin jaaoge?" her warm tears wet his shirt.
"I'm sorry. Mujhey laga tum so gyi ho", he hugged her head. Her forehead felt hot.
"Mujhey bohot ajeeb ajeeb dreams aatey hain. I told you to stay here. Why did you go? I'm scared." she said, haltingly.
"Acchha fine. I'm here now. Come on. Stop crying. Shh", he stroke her back. But her trembling and crying won't stop. "Chup. Ekdumm chup. So jao. Come on."
"Nahin", she argued while he made her lie down with her head on his lap. "Tum phir se chale jaoge."
"You're getting a fever, Sanyukta. Come on now, sleep. Main nahin jaunga."
She slowly ceased form sobbing and closed her eyes.
Randhir got off the bed to get a file of paracetamol for her.
"RANDHIR?" she sounded insecured. He rushed back at her.
"Han main yahin hun. Just take this medicine." He slid the tablet inside her mouth and made her drink some water. "Yea. Like that. Good. Abb so jao. I'm here." He sat beside her.
"Randhir?", she mumbled out of a trance.
-"Hm?"
"Tum nahin jaoge naa?"
-"Nahin."
"Kabhi matt jana."
-"Nahin jaunga."
"You'll be there when I wake up?"
-"Yes."
"And all the other times when I need you?"
-"Always."
"Never leave, okay?"
-"Promise."
With that, she finally gave into a peaceful sleep, lying with her head on his lap and his hands stroking her head.
I wrote this out of frustration. It might be horribly written, but then can I be excused for once? 17/04 ka episode broke my heart. I don't know if I'll be able to watch the show anymore with the same interest. Rnadhir and Sanyukta are magic together. Parth and Sanyukta make a good duo, but isn't it the same old mushy mushy love story id Saarth is the endgame? Guys! I'm, literally praying for SanDhir! And I hope I'm not the only one. :'(
Evermore,
Rini.
