I always thought once zaya profess their love or are about to they will be a separation track and zain would want aaliya back home but suriaya won't allow it and he will have to find another way for them to be together and hence get his own place. They now have this whole cupboard with household stuff ready made for them to have their own place. The wedding gifts symbolize things for them, their second marriage, growth of their relationship, the beginning of their friends phase and the future home they will make otherwise what is the point of having all that stuff stored away in their room lol
