Composer has better say on singers? - Page 3

I always believe that a singing competition is all about singing,nothing else.In such case the judge has to be a singer or md.No one else qualify for that post.As far as m d is concerned they all can sing.May be not so good but surely they knows!IMO judges like javed akhtar and faraha khan are misfit for such competitions.I dont know if javed akhtar can sing.For that i think javed akhtar should go through the audition and should be judge by MR. ANU MALIK. 😉

yeah we all say javed akhtar is a good judge..

but....wat does he judge?? i mean hes a lyricist...he onli writes songs naa...hes not a singer himself, or a music director..

i guess he judges on pronounciation or words, and how the singers catch onto specific words of teh song..etc...but...wat about singing in general? 😕

I don't think anyone can always be a good judge or a bad judge... even sonu nigam whom i respect as a judge was biased last season... and i still say that he is a good judge... Anu Malik can be a good judge but sometimes his rude attitude overshadows his good judgement... This season he's been acting like the ultimate judge.. that's what irks me about it... lets hope it gets better as the new judges get used to judging and start showing a little bit of individuality in the show..
