Yet another over-worked actress faints on the sets. This time it's Sayantani Ghosh aka Kakul in Ghar Ek Sapna

Here's another actress who could not keep up with the work pressure of a daily show and fainted on the sets. Sayantani Ghosh aka Kakul in Ghar Ek Sapna, recalls, "I was required in almost all the scenes for two days at a stretch. And since we were shooting outdoors, we had to work that much faster. Also the scene had a shot for an immediate episode. I did enough time to catch up on my sleep. I could not bear the physical and the mental strain, and collapsed."

Despite her illness Sayantani had to fly to Kolkata where her mother has been hospitalised for an operation. Adds Shayantani, "As soon as I recovered, I had to rush to Kolkata." The actress will be in Kolkata for a few days and binge on home food. Says Sayantani, "Hopefully, I will recover soon."

So, is the production house unhappy about the shooting being stalled for the time being? Says producer-director Ajai Sinha, "We had put up a huge set and had worked continuously for two days. It must have been too much for Sayantani to handle and she fainted on the sets. Now that she is away, we have decided to rebuild the sets and reshoot the episode when she gets back to Mumbai."
