It is beautiful transition in this man and how far he came with his mrs who is just not only his desire but also reason of survival. His mother is everything in his life and that he can't forget or get out of it.Khushi is taking that place slowly but how he wants her that shows in that golgappa scene.Just too good and the way you had described that is a trae to read too.

Love your breath taking edits but this one is melting my heart.Look at his smile.😊

Rhea...This is what your edit made me do...

A Lonely Tear...

He enters his glass cabin and is shocked to see it filled with his life's escape goodies...Plants. He reads the card stuck in one of them. The card conveyed the message of lonely tear to his heart which he can't bear and doesn't know why her tears disturbed him so much. ...Why Dammit??... a slam to the fact that he can't deny it.That gesture of her showed him her innocence and care for him .She did it for La to make him think that she loves him as much as he loves his plants.

He decides to stop La from leaving, not because he loved her or else but because he thought that's what Khushi wanted and it will make her happy. When it comes to his personal life, Arnav does not listen to anyone, even his own sister whom he loves the most. Yet, the very same man was willing to listen to Khushi Kumari Gupta.

When he reaches La's place, he overhears Khushi's confident statement that she knows he would come for her. It would irked him normally seeing some one else interfering his life and what he does, yet he remains calm. His eyes never leaves Khushi's face as he is eager to see her reaction over it. When he sees a big smile on her face , his face brightens up and his eyes twinkle and gets soften . La was out of his vision till she hugs him .He is not comfortable being hugged and does not know what to do. He warily brings up his arms around La. Khushi's smile slowly fades away the moment his arm comes into picture for holding La and she breaks into tears by the time he has his arms around her holding in his embrace .

Arnav looks up to see Khushi's reaction and is stunned to see her in tears again. He did everything to make her happy and for some unknown reasons that made her unhappy instead. Khushi baffled him with her reactions the very same way when she came to apologize for her pranks and throwing Hot tea. He could not understand her then and he could not understand her now suddenly. She left them hurriedly, but his eyes never leave her wondering what is going on .

He was not the only one who surprised by Khushi's tears, Khushi herself is equally confused "
hum Khush kyuon nahin hai...". She could not understand why she was disturbed to see Arnav reunite with La when she herself had gone to great lengths to ensure it.

Back in their homes, he remembers her tears and she remembers what caused them.
The day he apologized to her, they connected on an equal level, The connection of pain of loss.Today, once again pain is what made them realize their feelings. For Arnav he cannot see her in tears which occur due to pain and Kushi felt pain of loss when she saw him hugging Lavanya and she started questioning her feelings.

This is a moment of realization. Kushi had so many close proximity encounters with Arnav but she never felt or realize any thing for him but today seeing him hugging La (its like losing him to some other woman ) that made her heart cry out in desperation "NO He belongs to me and me alone".

Brilliant , and hats off to Barun and Sanaya👏👏👏

episode 241

a man torn... his action, his intention, the consequence all garbled up... a sense of guilt and disquiet in him. asr recalls khushi in a quandary at being asked about her wedding day...

his eyes close in that characteristic asr gesture, when something troubles him at a deeper level, when his feelings flow into pits and crannies within and he struggles to find his way back, lest the darkness behind the lids claim him.

the eyes closing and then closed, which in itself is not such an unusual thing, somehow when barun did it as asr it took on all sorts significance, seemed to say so much. the intense pain it indicated, every single time, har baar...

he remembers threatening her making her agree to a six month marriage...

his sadness, his contrition at having to resort to such measures, is perhaps reflected in a rabba ve...

bua ji interrupted his reverie. i loved the completely true to character acting in a simple little moment by abha parmar... these are the things that kept pulling ipk to a better place, making it more and memorable.

when she leaves after an unbelievably natural "kisssore" (i wonder if she improvised or the director called for it)... he turned and the lilting notes of rabba ve filled the screen, his thoughts, that thoughtful air, the sadness, the remorse in the pores of the scene melding with the notes...

"lekin doosri file?" but the other file, asr frowns wondering. barun is looking dishy as always but extremely thin, a little pulled down. this is 30 april, the rave rant about the leave to make mamr has started... finally he worked on both sets. one scammed him and pretended it was all his fault the show ended. the other kept saying how all was well, but well, no movie yet.

i hope for the sake of this actor who never let the size of the screen interfere with the size of his acting, that the movie is released. i remember how excited he was, and i was excited for him.

he actually thinks she may have hidden his stuff as she had threatened to... if this man is arnav singh raizada and not some good damad as prescribed by television writing which thrives on stereotypes... then really this is unbearable for him, his things in disarray, stuffed all over the place, no place to move, to sit... to work.

a meticulous finicky man, who lives in his spare stark room with his spare wardrobe to a side, suddenly here, his routine gone, and what happened to people going to work...

he finds the file and feels relieved. then thoughts go to the mad wife who he was sure had messed with his things and hidden the file somewhere... he had recalled her saying in that cute khushi way, if you irritate me i will hide everything. knowing her and suffering as he has over the past few days he was willing to believe it. he had even thought she had stolen all the spare parts of the car... considering the public bath, the ittr and lipstick kisskiss on the handkerchief, the mooh dikhai, even the trick to get him here, plus the war cry: aaj mausam hai suhana/laad gov ko satane ka hai bahana... and many other things, who could blame him for surmising that.

always touched me that no matter what she did, and even though he got really angry at times, he pretty much let her do as she pleased, didn't demolish her the way he would have if it were anyone else. the terrace had hurt him unbearably, his dil, dimag, nothing was left in a state to function normally. he had opted for a violent response. ultimately assessing that the only thing to do was to marry her forcibly and of course hate her forever.

but he had not been able to do that last thing. yes, his dimag held on to the negative feeling but his heart just kept insisting on flowing to her, break the barrier set up by the dimag. again, in itself this is not a great original thought, many love stories follow this path, but the way an actor convinced me of it... how terribly desirable he made the emotion arnav singh raizada felt. you almost wished your devoted lover would come running into the room and say, i hate you... with that storm of emotion in his eyes, his breath ragged, his shoulder thrown back and rigid, his jaws hard, his whole body tense.

the other thing i was touched by was the understanding of a character shown by writer and actor... with khushi and only khushi is an escape to childhood allowed for a man who had to grow up at 14. he had grown up overnight. a major stage of life truncated. happy, wicked, funny, hormonal adolescence.

khushi seemed to be the playmate at times he had not had time to have. why she and no one else? maybe because she had the power of the innocent child in her... absolutely untainted. the world of adults with its convolutions had taken him over... he had had to struggle and fight and prevail here... the child in him, who put glue on chairs (alas that is the only instance one has reference of) had had to just be submerged deep.

till a true innocent came along and touched that spot in him.

her guile free childlike element, so very fascinatingly portrayed in early episodes... i am giggling at the thought of the jalebi making scene that very first time, her jharu dance, her rushing after him in the darga and pouting angrily that this devil thinks he is bigger than bhagwan, her playing blind man's bluff with teehee op, her seriously cogiating then fixing the mistah by putting sugar in his oil tank... a genuine innocent playfulness she has... a true touch of sanka that gives her character strength... she can break through the dark world that the adult builds with her sharp sunny child thing.

had khushi's ott been handled with the thought through writing of the very early episodes we might have had an abs winner here, the episodes that don't enthrall me.

both khushi and asr were understood terribly well by writers, and the actors added such depth... he can let go of his ever responsible and serious air and actually play a bit with her, enjoy his life. he doesn't admit it, but a part of him adores the sanka and the silliness, for it is divine stuff, untouched and ununderstood by mere mortals.

(an aside: my husband has seen maybe 5 episodes of ipk and that too a while ago, the other day while watching aishwarya in dhoom 2 which was on on tv and we were too lazy to change the channel, he said, there's a bit of khushi in her... and another day when he saw a scene from madhubala, he was clear, ah she's trying to do a khushi... how powerful is a character that gets etched in a non ipk watcher's mind in just 5 episodes.)

from way back a movie called "mili" comes to mind. badi sooni sooni hai zindagi yeh zindagi...

[YOUTUBE]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-ocUQH-vUY[/YOUTUBE]

amitabh, this dark grim adult who is burned by life and has lost his smile, his feelings. jaya, an innocent girl who is sunny and untainted. she does get through to him and help him find his happier self. she dies in the end. i am eternally grateful, khushi lived and continued to be strange, totally ajeeb.

a definite smile as he thinks of his mad wife, what he'd been thinking, huh!

he is a 27 year old guy, not an old man all experiences done ... this is the first time he has felt youthful and vibrant... did he really plan on having a wedding like that?

a tenderness for his sweetheart... and of course, the shiny pedestrian wrapping paper had to peep out and shatter the calm, the giddy feeling growing.

in that frame of mind loving her with a glint in his eyes, he pulled out the paper, ghastly and tacky... "pagal hai..." he made love to her with three syllables.

he lifted it up to read a card... "to khushi," his voice just curious... "with love," he is getting angry, nose flares, eyes go steely, and through clenched teeth... "shyam!" short, clipped furious.

a paper is crumpled, eyes lose love.

(the card actually read, "dear khushi" i think, a little mistakiya.)

nicely detailed scene of dulha coming, a very happy khushi is evident. she loves weddings...

boy's mama mami start the obnoxiousness. ladkewale checking out house, food, stuff... why is this even allowed in our land these days... why can't girls just speak up... i get into a complete asr mindset when i see this sort of thing. enough!

even before entering the room, the demands and the lack of courtesy. with what sense of ethics does a culture that thinks it is evolved and deep and non-materialistic in its underpinnings, justify this crass unbelievably ugly "norm" that actually people go ahead and honour? what ladkewale ladkiwale, how is one less than the other.

"aapko kauno sikayat ka mauka nahin milega..." you'll have no reason to complain. pathetic, isn't it, the way we pander to the ladka thing... patriarchy can be suffocating and who will change things if we are all running around trying to make sure there's no shikayat ka mauka...

at least the girl's mother shows some true feelings in her expressions. khushi actually smiles when her mother says there will be no "kami in khatirdari"... so it is alright to accept this thing... yet this very khushi on that first day had gone to talk to her sister's husband to be because she did not believe in such things.

i did not like the forced dialogues by khushi... all the good talk of achhi beti... and really it is a bit out of place... she is not tasked with making the whole world perfect... as i mentioned earlier had they written khushi with empathy through gh, we'd have a winner, here instead is loud writing with hardly any real understanding of character.

her narration of her wedding finery was beautiful and showed one side of her character, the side that has tears and struggles with them, covers them with her smiles... why was it okay to write that bit with empathy and not give her the strength of her characterstic sanka with integrity too? if they had shown her drawing the bridegroom aside and giving him a khushi like lecture might have seemed real, but all this out of place "wise" talk... ugh this is pedestrian serial heroine fare, constant know it all nonsense... when will we portray women with respect in our mass media... khushi had a queen in her... a rani, long before rani was even conceived, but nah, let's finish her off. i am angry.

and sanaya hammed not feeling the dialogues in her, can't blame her.

"khusie, tum andar jao... jao toh!" garima ji shooes her daughter away, garima and bua ji endearingly normal.

mama ji was a bad actor. his wife not much better.

asr is in a bad state. hand goes to the waistcoat buttons, that characteristic taking it out on something on his body, like ripping out his insides. his movements are jerky, his feelings run wild.

in this state she arrives, "suniye..."

instant reaction. his head jerks a little turning toward that voice.

"aap aa rahe hain na?" you are coming, aren't you? sangeet is about to start... she is happy and light, or tries to be, because a whole wedding is at their place, one must do the done thing. she does not want to think of what transpired earlier.

and he remembers, "hum sirf aapko chahte hain, khushi ji..." another nightmare from another wedding night is back.

"chhor dijiye anjali ji ko..." khushi is urging shyam to leave anjali in a voice almost manic. it was that but for a different reason, alas he did not know that.

a tension in the room, she is asking what happened, no idea what has happened, he is reaching a pitch of anger that can explode into anything, anytime...

i see beauty here... i see love here... it never bothered me that there was so much angst because it was pure unadulterated emotion expressed so perfectly... in this there is more love than two people smiling at each other, saying sweet things, long pans, slow motion, sugary niceness...

we are headed i felt to that terrace once more...

"kya hua... aap...theek toh hai?" what's the matter, you... are okay? doesn't he always ask that?

and he turns... fulminating anger all across his face, in the turn of body, his music...

she has no idea why... "kya hua, bataiye na" what's the matter, tell me... khushi is flummoxed... sanaya is still holding onto lightness, well felt execution. for he is deep and dark and dreadful night.

this balancing of two sides, the contrast... so delicate, life like.

he is about to retaliate and the drums start.

"aap itna gussa kyun hain?" why are you so angry?

she thinks it's the questions.

he is beside himself with anger... "khushi, bahar jaao!" fabulous love... this time he does not want to hurt her. he knows what happens when he feels like this. he has already done something he perhaps regrets whenever he thinks of it.

he knows he can do harm in this state. organic astounding anger... real trait of a real man.

"leave me alone."

but she won't.

aggression sparks aggression.

"god dammit, isse pehle ki main kuch kar doon, dafa ho jaao yahan se..." before i do something, get out of here.

violence in the air now... he has to get her out he knows he can't keep calm with her in front of him... this is a man hurting... betrayal reminds itself of its existnece on a wedding night again. he has seen his mother's world tumble on such a night, then his... and now once more.

this time, he was going to tell her though.

tonight he was not able to hold it in any more, he is so so tired so emotionally drained and crushed up against a wall breathless...

"kyunki maine wo..." because i that... the grain in the voice is rising letting go.

and someone knocks.

nice move by writers, we are building up arnav singh raizada's need to say it out loud, everything is pushing him to that point. but we will wait till the suicide attempt for it to finally burst out of him. why he is angry.

amma doesn't pick on the tension. a helpless girl walks out, a man stands looking away trying to breathe.

he can't go for the sangeet, he has lots of work...

old lady dances, the most active octagenarian in the world, she is there everywhere, wasn't she in gomti sadan too that first episode?

mami talks of the "tevar" of khushi's husband... you might say he has a bit of that.

bua ji actually reacts to this and goes to call him.

"titaliya, kaa hua hai?" bua ji sees her niece looking forlorn in the kitchen, at least for a while she is not smiling... felt natural.

he is packing to leave... felt natural too. this reminder of that terrace he has had it, he needs to get out. unbearable the feeling of someone actually that close to khushi she keeps the wrapping paper in her drawer. i can imagine it feels like wild rampant intimacy to him...

he refuses bua ji too. and all would have gone to another point if he had not heard...

"itna sab kafi rahega?" will this be enough... and the tone hits him. he knows helplessness in a woman's voice maybe.

he hears about the sickening insults and demands. he is seething.

this is not how anyone should behave with anyone... the upbeat bua ji is trying to save the day with her chirpiness... helplessness all around... and in a little boy's heart, and in a grown up man's blood. how helpless he was that night while maa died, how helpless he is today before the "fact" that khushi loves another.

now it is not possible to stay inside. if he sees injustice, he must act... he moves toward the door...

he steps out, his eyes fall on the groom... interestingly he is angry with this man for not speaking up. even when he has hated his wife, even when she is not really his wife according to him, he has stood up for her. asr has a concept of what a man must do for a woman, how he must act.

he needs to know the name of the employee who was getting married...

the taunts are getting worse. even khushi is reaching the end of her tether. she starts talking trying to calm things... a note of sanka in her words...

"khushi, chup raho!" he doesn't want his wife to talk to these crass folk... my take. the brusqueness, that is his way, and soon enough she will understand this... and if she wants to send him for therapy later ok, but by then she might find it too sexy to do anything about it.

"jaao doosri icecraem lekar aao... main arnav hoon, khushi ka husband." go get some icecream, he wants her nowhere near these sick folk. i am arnav, khushi's husband.

i want to die when i hear that voice and that sweet little declaration... khushi ka husband, not her swami, pati, pati devta... just her husband. just arnav... a part of his identity now that he is her husband. chay mahine ke liye or saat janam ke liye, arnie dahling? for six months or for seven lives? what does your kambakht dil desire?

did mama ji see the look on khushi ka husband's face when he instructed him to teach his wife how to talk to elders?

he controls his temper, in even voice, "koshish karoonga"...

and the two look at each other for another wordless, endless, most meaningful, completely loaded conversation just gazing at each other.

he gets a call, whips around to talk, and looks straight at dulhan.

he was 14, the dulhan was pretty, there was a gun shot.

"haan aman, make sure abhi ho, right now."

something in his eyes, anger pain memory determination... never again.

he goes back to the room, "aapki himmat kaise hui!" how dare you... she storms in.

"maine kaha tha na mere saamne mat ana," i had told you don't come before me... "main nahin chahta ki main kuch ulta seedha kar baithoon... aur woh bhi yahan..." he doesn't want to do something bizarre, that too here.

this is such a huge change for asr... he is actually trying to keep a rein on his temper. his gussa... thank g the dulha bungled, a fantastic place to channel asr's wrath. he needs to fix things, especially when overcome by extreme destructve anger. he needs to make, another major asr trait, construct... he will not shattering prevail. not the way it had that terrible sheeshmahal night.

"lekin aapne..." but you, khushi is in a mood to really have it out with him, enough! says her anger.

but another interruption now. the dulha has received a call.

"lekin... aise achanak?" dulha is nonplussed.

"hamari baat ko taliye mat.." don't ignore me, asr's wife commands.

"khushi, yahan se jaao..." go from here.

in the "maine..." to the incredulous dulha, the "i" there was barun absolute being asr... asr was there when he put the hand on the guy's shoulder... the writer will make a good damad song and dance now, but asr is alive and kicking despite that attempt to tame and fit him into the star plus idiot box.

Indi, lovely take and edits.
Khushi looked ravishing in the end.. and camera men always loved his asymmetrical face in the mirror and made best use of it.. perhaps to reflect he is NOT what he looks to be. that aside, as I was telling Rhea, I could n't bear to see this man literally sweat .. blame my crazy possessive / protective instincts for a fictional character..but you have put it on so very beautifully.. he can't fix ONE thing he direly needs to.. great symbolism..👏
Cow dung slip, kya boloon ab.. yes the ever reverent cow dung and water cleansing symbolism.. but all these are for those who aren't aware of/ who don't acknowledge their wrong doings.. he thoroughly is.. and that wasn't necessary. how did Khushi enjoy her LG slipping and getting stared at by Laxmi nagar waasis?? I could be insensitive about this, but by the end of this Gupta House fiasco writers could successfully blot out traces of justification for Khushi ..
That in blue, has always been my million dollar question.. why he never just driven away.. it is in the same city. I was so sure he would do it after that last frame few epis ago where he looks on leaning onto the SUV almost helplessly frustrated..
I will stop here ..enjoyed reading you indi..

hi indu,

thanks so much.

this track played hell into me too. cannot bear to see the man in such distress.

but i feel awful for the character of khushi too... what were its possibilities and what they did to her... long while back a powerful poem by wilfred owen we'd read in college, lines from it come to mind when i think of how they played with khushi.

"- o what made fatuous sunbeams toil
to break earth's sleep at all?"

i have spoken of this in 241...

also of what i think made him stop and take all this nonsense... not drive away.

in my universe, neither khushi nor asr is good or bad or anything as crassly single shaded as that. both are human beings drawn with a myriad traits and hues and both can go all the way to magnificent. one does. and despite writer's best efforts to knock him dead, hangs on. the other is made such a mess of, it is just plain tragic. especially on second watch.

the tragedy of ipk really was the loss of khushi. as i watched a movie that touched me greatly, queen, i felt the full impact of that sad thing. what we might have had if khushi were held onto... she was the liberated woman who then was tied down by the norms of a moneymaking commercially viable stereotype... but khushi was never that, so that could never be mined from her... in the end just an all over the place girl.

never would khushi drag him out for a bath, nor laugh heartlessly and give lectures after seeing him covered with dung.

she was angry with her lover and with every right. but this was no khushi's retaliation. this was trp mania's hijacking of an entire character.

IN DIII!!!!!!

this one looks oh so interesting, will plan on reading all soon ihope.
couldn't help but catch these last few line on that ASR☺️ loved what you had to say and agree. this is precisely why ASR stands a class apart from all the characters/actors...he was such a survivor, he even survived the writers😆

I loved this epi in all the madness surrounding Khush's friends wedding...only b/c of how ASR was kept alive by Barun! Sanayawas funny as Khushi but overly done. the one scene i was grateful for was her stopping again to question him, taking us back to the "real" aspect of this love story and even the solo scene after she lies to Garima she ponders to herself about this rakshas/rajkumar rolled into one...great scene...anyway been a while since i saw this one so am a bit rusty.

all those edits are uff! esp the where he finds the wrapping paper...teech clenching, uttering Shyaams name...oh Barun! where art thou, come back soon!

Pondering connected dots: Anjali comes to Khushi to advise her on dealing with Arnav. "Chote does not know how to express his love and if you show love , he withdraws himself from it but he must realize the presence of love too and for that you have to draw him out of it" That night different colors of Khushi were spreading around him to bring his TRUE color out, even his Di helped him to see him through his inner mirror by keeping him facing a reality mirror of his Khushi and how much he loves her and today that love is blooming with all sorts of colors.Since that day he feels urge to remove her hurt , her every wrinkle in time and especially if the cause of hurt is him..Today that Titliya and Parmeshwari who brought him here just for a tease but her each tear still acts like a oil splatter as the day one on his heart.Love is reducing him indeed as his unconditional love has no boundaries not even hate can diminish it. this journey of love through him was indeed beautiful to watch.

My grabber was that day Anjali used the word"Chote" not Arnav and last night Khushi used the same "Bechare Chote"When he complained that even at home he can't sleep in his bed. This is what is surfacing up , Chote and his past wounds which are hindering his powers to embrace or express his love. The trauma he went through at early age has taken his childhood with it.Those deep wounds have swollen his soul inside deeply.Pure love which is only meant for a mother"Maanwa Thandiyan chawan "[Mothers are like cool breeze of love] whose love has no limit and is the true "marham" for his deep wounds and only mother embraces her child's flaws without any expectations. That love is hidden in Khushi's smile and that's why her tears tear him apart but he is far from acknowledging the PURITY of it yet.His Khushi is the cause of his unintentional smile which spreads along his shattered visage and on which he has no control still couldn't bloom this flower of love completely in him to embrace the spring around him because he is still far from understanding her unconditional love.

Arnav's learning and realizing his hasty judgments as a NORTH head is taking new shape with echoing Khushi's words in return of his accusing her of a thief. He turns and meets with another reality which Khushi showed him once "Khudaari se jeete hain hum" ...as he eavesdrops Buaji and Garimaji's convo. He is understanding how the self respect and ego of these middle class people is everything. They can live without food and all but pride is everything for them and that one thing will make him understand Khushi and her actions which he always misunderstands as her acts and fake. I loved the moment when Arnav casts his right "Akhir iss ghar ka damaad hoon" and brings in the rations...without making them feel bad emotionally but in return a tinge of humor of his .. ."main khata bhi bohat hoon aur aap khilati bhi bohat hain..." [ I eat a lot and you feed a lot too]..brought smiles across everyones face even on Khushi's face.Loved her astonishment when he claimed himself as a SIL of this house. This is the thing which she always felt to the core of her heart and gave her strength. She saw a glimpse of strong hold on her Manglasutre which she did on her wedding night. She will win him!!!

Pause here: Today Arnav met with unconditional love of Guptas and that made him relaxed ...,When he understood his happiness is all they want and can do anything for it made him feel home...when he understood that this family does not have any expectation from him, his armored shell begun to open.Today Chotte peeked out though he has not emerged fully, he is still cowering in fear and how can years of darkness can come out to light instantly but slowly it will get used to it. My grabber is He is disapproving Anjali's words , he is expressing love in return of unconditional love... But at the same time he is proving Anjali right that he showers boundless and today he treated Guptas as his own. Today we are seeing Arnav struggling to come out of ASR's shell .

Khushi has been nagging him ,Unhain Amma Bolaiye na" about calling Garima Amma... but she is unaware of understanding the level of his turmoil attached with this word ...maa'...and instantly everything changes. He turns away as always to hide his emotions and vulnerability towards this haunted hurt that darkens"Maa"... and as expected, he lashes out like a stone man ,"Meri koi maa nahi hain...mar chuki hain meri maa"...with raging and blazing eyes...this is a fact he has no "maa" she is dead.

...but my grabber is he was upset over the exposure of their private moment in front of the family whom he just getting acquainted with. Garima understands the depth of his pain and gets furious with Khushi's attitude with Arnav...

Pause here:Khushi's forcing him calling Garima "Amma because she has only one reason ..her belief , her vishwaas which he just confirmed it that he is SIL of this house and she just wants a confirmation as a child too that his calling her Amma might strengthen her Vishwaas over this relationship which he claims is only for temporary.

Pondering connected dots:He will be the one who will cry in Khushi's arms to let this pain go and relax from this pain as she will embrace him in her protective shell like a mother with unconditional love.

Here comes the most awaited moment for me ,must needed conversation between Arnav and Khushi ...to really vent out their turmoil and builded up assumptions and they did,...each of them was taking out their agony and uneasiness. If Arnav lashed out at Khushi "tumne jo bhi kaha usse mujhe kya feel hoga usska tumhain idea tuk nahin hai",[ you have no idea what I'll feel about what you've said...]

Indeed he did have a right too as Khushi said but as he was so drown in his pain and without realizing his one statement made him halt in his own tracks "main tumhare saath iss ghatiya se ghar main.." .[ Low cheep house] ...he just called her home a low aukat place...without realizing that her life is attached to it...obviously Khushi's pain and her belief washes out in her tears...this is a true unconditional love of two people who can lash out without any halt in their fight but when pain reaches to the CORE of their heart , its heart beat changes the coarse of beat of their turmoil...He realizes instantly ...so true, we somehow have the right to be really terrible to the ones we love, but are so circumspect of others feelings... Khushi is insulted again and makes him realize that she never lashed out or will lash out her anger against his family member but you have done this many times...He calls her softly"Khushi" but her heart is crumbled and refused to stay with him..

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS: HE SAID THE SAME on parents anniversary,"sab kehte hain keh woh samjhte hai par koi kuch nahin samjhta" [everyone says they understand but in fact they don't] so don't say that to me that you do understand and that took us towards his first sorry and today again he will be saying sorry in ASR style.

Garima and Buaji are busy cooking some tasty snacks for Arnav but soon get upset knowing about his absence. They surprised to see him with more bags as Khushi's words did leave a deep mark on him as always to change the coarse of his actions.. "I'm sorry Buaji, sorry aunty... main abhi ke liye sorry nahin bol raha hoon...mujhe phele itta gussa nahin hone chahiye tha...jo Khushi ne kaha who theek tha par"...[I am sorry Buaji and aunty, I am not saying sorry for now... I should not have got angry... khushi was right]...His "I'm not saying sorry for now" seems he is sorry for all the things he has done so far . This is Arnav Singh Raizada if he thinks he is wrong , he rectifies immediately...and that's exactly he is doing here...and without getting off the point he admits ,"woh, main kissi ko maa nahin kah sakta..."[I can't call anyone ..mom] sop dman endearing and sign of a man i can admire, thsi willingness to act and apologise if he thinks it is merited. beautiful, and i am thinking before khushi came, he found it hard to say i am sorry, he may have wanted to but the arrogance he wore as an armour would not let him... after the incident with her and saying his sorry that first time, something has eased within... he can say it, without feeling he is weak. asr is scared of being perceived as weak by anyone. he was taken advantage of because he was young, he won't let that happen again.

Pondering connected dots:This is the very same arrogant man ,one night at the very doorstep once claimed "Arnav Singh Raizada Kabhi kissi se Sorry nahi boltha " and now is now apologizing for his actions not once but twice lovely, isn't it?...!!What a change in mighty ASR, today his probity is connecting with acceptance and Buaji's "lamas bhara haath " [caressing loving hand] is making him embraced with this loving this family whole heartedly. "aap kiss naam se humey pukarto uss se hamara rishta toh nahin badal jata..." [Whatever the name you call me can't change our relationship] ...very IPK thing, acceptance of all without digging or tagging ...

Arnav Singh Raizada finally has entered the world of Gupta's where priceless love resides and nothing else...He will be running towards this vibrant place always for love, care and affection and that's why I mentioned above he was upset bursting out loud in front of everyone as he is accepting this as his own home...

Khushi returns home all weathered but returns, sight of relishing food golgappe Arnav's astonishing look seeing her running and tearing the pack with her teeth so quickly and at the top spitting out the torn part is applaud able .He went out to bring her fav food to spread a smile on the face which drenched in tears because of him. Khushi in her excitement "thoda khatta thoda meetha thoda teekha..."[ a little sour a little sweet a little hot.] ..opened her mouth to gulp one but Buaji's thanking her Arnav Babua who brought all this is making her to thank by dropping it on the floor. she was too cute and crazy here.

Khushi wants to eat the Golgappe which Arnav bought for her but pride prevents her ...she is angry with him, so she is not going to eat his stuff .."laad gov ke laye huwe golgappe... kabhi nahin khaoongi..." [I will never eat golgappa broght by laad governor..].but if I will not eat he will be blown up like golgappa in anger ...a very nice reasoning knowing her man and of coarse one golgappa will not make any difference...and his eyes never leaves her either for a second while sipping tea as he knows she can't resist "food" ...hey hey snuggles in with it's teekhey style 👏 👏 👏 yeh hey hey bhi kya cheez hai when she gives it a try with her open wide mouth.

His amusement changes into desire in his mouth with his watery lips seeing her munching like that. His eyes never leave this delightful and sensual sight seeing her engrossed with her fav food dipping here and there and taking right in her mouth one after the other leaving a trail of sour water trail for him to follow ...A sweet yet sensuous smile appears in his eyes ..so much desire to hold her and to wipe those drops right from her luscious lips...her smile was blooming in his heart which gets peace seeing her happy and content. ufff this desire, faiqa, how lovely it was.

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:Their fights always bring out the most sensual and desirous scenes ever...From Sheesh Mahal till Dargha, From red saree ,rain hug to their first SUV ride to look for Anjali, from character dheela to her falling down in his arms in the kitchen after Diwali , from wedding day to dhabba service poolside fight, from Bali's dance to his voice coming back, from heer ranjha to Rajkumar-shaitan till now 👏 👏 👏 love their fights, there's pent up desire, extreme awareness, and yes that desperate love in them.

Pause here:we see Arnav rushing out for his wife by getting her some golgappe ..He does not force her or coax her the way Shyam did. He allows everybody to enjoy snacks .He sits back and enjoys the sight of his family snacking on something he bought with delight. Yesterday he made them taste his world , today he gets them their world and enjoys their happiness with smile on his lips ... super nice catch, faiqa... 👏 👏 👏 maybe that is the surest sign he sees them as family, remember when la asks him why he wants to get lucknow sweets for anjali and shyam's anniversary, he replies because that is what they really enjoy... much later he will get her all the things kkgsr likes, and that sweet attempt to connect over chane which he has picked up during morning jog... aww, this arrogant tycoonwa.

He is enjoying seeing her feeding everyone in her own way and have fun when Buaji changes the channel 😆 😆 to see or I felt she wanted to restore peace in them. She urged Khushi to make him eat one"golgappa" from her own hands...that freezes the moment in between them at the opposite poles of the table...A shatir brain who is holding his desires [ water in all forms in this track represents desires, lust and all water here too...] 👏 all this time is changing into a hope that she might still loves me...feels me the way I do...opens his lips for reaching and touching that desire," ek kha loonga."

That increase Khushi's heartbeat and she walks towards him slowly and his hawking eyes never leaves her tracks which are directing towards him. She, full of confusion as always as she had no idea of the reason why she is being tied to him but this knot is getting tighter each day beyond her control and she can't stop getting closer to him...

She comes closer to him with racing heartbeat which is meeting with his as both are aware of that... He wants to eat from her hand, he wants to be touched by her , caressed by her around his mouth, his savory lips ...a wish of a lover for an unconditional love... she is baffled and stunned by his act... hey hey glides in.He looks at her with his desired need of her which trembles her hand. She spreads her hand having mom's kangan like she is watching seeing her son getting peace and happiness ...Khushi leans forward as she is kissing him, He opens his mouth to give her ravishing moment to get enthralled with it...very intimate indeed when she takes the plunge to get charmed with this spell bounded moment while wiping his lips and mouth with the edge of her hand...and he couldn't stop relishing it either while gulping this teekh, khta, meetha moment which took both of them at the edge... Oh yeah buabji he did enjoy it and so did she as this has completely touched her soul too , her quivering lips are telling the whole story to him which is blooming through his smile...They both completely gave in for this remarkable moment where no one was present ..just them as always away from surroundings...and hey hey is confirming that...

Regardless he is making faces later to deny that he wasn't doing all to just make her smile...he was doing Anveiy Anveiy...Mein te Anveiy Anveiy lut gaya...but he was looking like Neem Ka Pakoda...cute Barun...really Cute! But that shows his feelings are surfacing up for her but his trust is still shaky and he is fine as long as she doesn't see his feelings for her...heart/brain war as Buaji indicated "hathiyaar paas hai par jang se dar rahe ho..."

MOMENT OF THE DAY

faiqa,

so enjoyed that read, a whole world of emotions you take us through. i see him as a kid, as an arrogant man, as lover, as son, as an abs sweetheart really.

i agree they needed to confront feelings and that fight after she tells him to call garima amma was good for them.

and oh yes, their fights always have so much sensuality... thsi si really entirely the actors' doing, even a good director can't get that done perfectly. i see sequences like this in other shows, the fight and aggression win, they struggle with the sensuality that is supposed to seep in. here tehy both clash like mighty wariors and lovers... the fiught a way to touch, to cleave, to reach a pinnacle of victory. sexy, huh.

my comments are in blue.
