Why we did not win!!

My reason for why we got nout!!

1. The show has been failing for serveral reason and the biggest reason was the departure of Iqbal Khan!.. Basicly the replacement was no the best (sorry tonki fan but this is my take on the subject!! But as a replacement Ekta made a big rash mistake!! He plays Samer and Herman well!!)

2. Storyline... Well the kundali and Shiv's second lover interest was all very will written accept for the 5year leap!! I was very disappointed when this happened as i want to see how the couples decided to live there lives. Hence no award for best patni and Bahoo... Well i now seen why she should get the award!!

3. Twists.... Well we have had explosions and KZK entering the show which still did nothing for the show! The kids now all we see is Shanti and the boys have disappeared.

4. confusing.... Now we have so many hidden stories emerging... vivaan and Kaaya. Ram and Palak. Nikhila and Samar. Ippshita and Anupam the viewers are like WHAT THE HELL!! everyones have an affair and what happen to the romance and true love!! All lost in KAA world!!

After all that does KAA truly deserver an award?

Not in my book!! the voting public made the right choice....but we all now if the right SHIV was in the show it may have been completly different!!

Please comment as i would like to hear everyones views!!

u r rite this story line is simply unbearable 😡 well she wasn't nominated 4 best bahu patni etc...
patni she was gud she even was ready to sacrifice her life but her pati only did not accept her as his wife then poor gauri how will she get an award he still doesn't love her atleast that i feel 😕 he never said anything that sort to her

then bahu she always had a problem with nikhilla

may be next year she gets best maa or best saas award 😆

I hear u Kat, but Pallavi should have won the naya sadasy and guess who presented the awards for male and female, it was Iqbal himself. 😆 😆 😆

I do see ur points the show is a total disaster. In Yash's last article, he said he had to play the role just right so people would forget Iqbal, now tell me here who has forgotton Iqbal, NO ONE HAS! That shows an actors insecurity I tell u! Many to this day have not accepted him as Shiv!

Good topic Kat! Well individual like Pallavi deserved an award. The way she acts out every scene is awesome! Emotional or caring mother is really good to see and she shows it of so well!

The serial never deserved an award..There are too many affairs and stupid ones that come out of thin air for my liking..These affairs put programmes like Eastenders and Corrie to shame!!!! 😆

I agree to the points where u said KAA did not deserve the awards.. But u see, my pet peeve here is not KAA but at least recognizing Pallavi's talents here. It is quite unfair to judge a drama that was in its prime back in Sep-Dec 2006 and compare it with a new starter show like Kayamath (started at the end of Feb/07). Pallavi is definitely a better and far more deserving actress despite the poor ratings and storyline of the show. Panchi is okay but can u seriously tell me that Pallavi's acting is any less than hers in Kayamath? In my humble opinion, I am pissed at the fact the way they included 2, 2 nominees from the same drama and literally ignored/neglected Iqbal as Shiv. Indian telly awards follow a time period for nominations. It's like comparing Bani from Kasamh Se and Tulsi from KSBKBT. Both are great actresses but the most they would compete would be in the category of "Best Actress" together. But then comparing KSBKBT with a drama like Kasturi or Kayamath would be unfair as well as one is already established while others are merely starting.

I guess my whole pov is that yes, KAA doesnt deserve awards for what it is now but back in the days, there existed an acting and script that had KAA ringing the top 5 slots in TRPs constantly.. Don't u think it is unfair Kat to not recognize that? I am all for Panchi from Kayamath getting awards but how can she ever be compared to Pallavi? This drama just started and has the lead couple intact and is riding high on success because of its freshness. But its like everyone is ready to wipe out any good stuff that we all watched b/w Iqbal and Pallavi as Shiv and Gauri and they are ready to pounce on the current status of the serial.. *sighs*

I saw the online polls at Star Forums and Pallavi was like 2-3% behind Panchi. I think Kayamath should not have been included in the first place. Follow a timeline and then decide who are the winners, and I'll rest my case there!

I don't watch anything my busy life style does not permitted (basicly i have time for TV) but when i caugh Pallavi in KAA here in the UK and the magic was not there!! On my Sky digi box i have recorded all the show uptil IQ and her sence where magic to watch!! i can see why the punters never voted!! ( hey i like her to but at present the show is not working for her)

i personally dont think its because of IQ leaving, the story just isn't good enough, i mean it started off soo well..the 5 year leap was too soon... maybe thats why..but i dont think its because of IQ leaving, thats my opinion...

Anisha she is an actress of cause she carry the scene's well but this was a public vote and not a panel!! So what counter where the votes!! Everyone has switched off since the 5 year leap...Heck my Parent don't watch it any more they turn over to watch Saathi Re and Virasaat!! 😆

lmao @ write too much.. Kya karoon.. Aaadat hu gaye hai..But again, I will reiterate here that Pallavi's acting skills right now might not be magical or top of the pops.. But there existed 4-5 months where she was simply flawless in her acting.. And to ignore that era is pretty pathetic IMO... Who cares what's going down right now.. I get your point that people didnt vote for her cuz KAA's graph has gone down the hill.. I totally get it.. I am just saying that this reality is quite sad and disappointing to me at least.. She may look like a housemaid right now but housemaids are humans too and if she's portraying the role of a busy mother perfectly well, then so be it!! As per Prerna Bajaj, dont even get me started with that serial.. Stretching serials pointlessly is what Ekta thrives on.. No wonder Manjoj and Cezzane Khan left the show before the leap.. Even Ronit Roy is not being seen there.. He must have had enough too.. And I hear things about Tina Parekh not being happy either.. Lose all the good actors and then say yeah, at least one is there!! I have yet to see a grandmom looking as vivacious and as a glammed up doll in my real life like this Prerna Bajaj.. I am sorry but it doesnt register with me at all how she never gets wrinkles or nething.. Heaven's sake.. Even Hiten underwent a major transformation to suit the role... Damn..

And pallavi's make up and dressing is all the makeup artist and her stylist's fault.. I am sure they are being told to portray her like that... So would u fault the actress here then? I wouldn't..

Anyhow ~ I have made peace now that good acting doesn't go hand in hand with awards.. It's more a TRP and popularity race.. So let it be..
