Humayun Nama, page143, records these words of Humayun --> "Why did I not kill her in my own presence?"
That was daughter of his favorite wife Bega Begum(Akbarnama, Vol-1,Pg-340), name - Aqiqa Sultan Begum, 8 years OLD, lost in the battle of Chausa. AND Was NEVER FOUND.

Also, Humayun lost 2 wives, in this battle. One was 7 months pregnant(name was Bibi Chand).

Also, I was amazed to know that the ORIGINAL HUMAYUN-NAMA had a portrait of Sher Shah Suri in it. ( Though he was Humayun's Enemy .!!!!. )

Today i came to know that, I(and those who contribute on the history threads) have been 'accused' of giving 'fake' historical posts. First to get this out of the way - I somehow doubt Jodha will tell all to Todarmal. She is very private person and when remembers Todarmal, she will also remember the feelings Jalal had for Todarmal. We were shown that Todarmal realized it was Jalal and Jodha. Jalal realized Todarmal had recognized him but Jalal and Jodha did not talk about this.

Jodha would be hesitant to confide in Todarmal for this reason. Maybe if he recognizes and asks her directly may say something that she is giving herself punishment for doing something wrong.

Just writing random thoughts here - do you think even in this condition of hers, Jodha remembers the promise she had given HB after her suicide attempt that she will never do such thing again? Nobody has thought for a min that she could have done something to herself so asking this.

This is really strange. Why has no one thought she could have died by now? I also mentioned this in Jodha's trust broken thread, but no one has responded to that so far 😊

It's the fact that Jo now loves him. He feels if she loves him too, she can never reject him again. So he is more confident. And his love is now driving him to bring her back once again, just like he had brought her back from death's jaws.

Is Jodha really thinking at the back of her mind that he will come to take her back to Agra? Her self talk said that - you know he will come to take you back you want that to happen. However, what if she is remembering he said he HAD started loving her, what if she is thinking she has REALLY LOST his love and trust cos of the incident.

She feels she did not inspire trust in him.

I LOVED how you wrote about NOW Jodha is fearing of rejection. Is that why she feels his love is in the past - she has lost it.

This is a new thought that Diksha put in my head. Seems very plausible. Just as Jalal was devastated by her dhakka, now Jodha has lost her will to live by Jalal's rejection. In this way, Jalal's dhakka is symbolic of Jodha's dhakka to him. Lot of people were angry that he had manhandled her. But in this show, the CVs always show parallels. Jalal's dhakka is the reverse of Jodha's dhakka and now both are at par, so to say. 😊

I loved how you pointed out both of them have left so much old stuff behind.
For Jodha only Agra is now her home and only Jalal matters.

And for Jalal also, Jodha and Amer have gained in importance.

I am wondering - for taking any decision not necessarily that ONLY one thinking can be responsible. It could be multiple thoughts - her fear that she lost his love and trust, her fear that she was unable to inspire trust from him so she has failed somewhere.

Maybe her fear too that if she stayed and he still rejected her after knowing the truth she will not be able to take it - fear of his rejection so all of this contributing to her thoughts.

Why is Jalal only thinking she is punishing him? So he is only thinking about what he said to her and that made her upset. He has still not thought that maybe she FEARS SHE LOST HIS LOVE so she is not punishing him, rather protecting herself from his rejection.

He cannot understand that she may fear she has lost his love. Because he is so confident of his love. He will wonder "how can she even feel I don't love her anymore?"
