PART 2

Maan saw a beautiful girl coming towards them with an attitude NO-ONE-COMES-IN-MY-WAY.

Geet saw a most handsome man standing beside her state coach talking & smiling. Geet thought she have seen this man before but where? Maybe he is an actor or politician something? No he looks too young for a politician. Geet's eyed the waiter who was carrying drinks.

Maan thought, she looks very young and small compared to other players. Maan "Sir..You very well know the rules that no underage players are allowed in the team" maan's comment made Mr.Jasmeet laugh out loudly "Maan don't underestimate our Punjab ki sherni..And don't say this something like this in front of her. She is very hot tempered and god know what she will break if she hear you calling underage player. Oh! ..By the way she is 25"

Mr.Singh "Maan ..you must have heard about Handa's name.. The famous business magnates? " for that maan nodes for yes "Yes..! Who doesn't? ..They are our international Football association's biggest sponsors in London.

Mr.singh " She is Geet Handa, The one & only daughter of Mr. Khuldeep & Mrs. Sara Handa's and granddaughter of senior Mr. Jaydeep Handa."

Maan just stared at her who was exchanging her empty glass with the filled one. Maan "It really doesn't matter to me from which family she belongs and how rich she is. All I care about is football and how good she is in the field"

Mr.singh "I know..I know son that's why we all thought you are perfect for this team. I have to warn you about this in prior, Geet doesn't like talking about her family and never ever mention about her parents infront of her. She is a very good player when you ask or say something nicely but if she is in bad mood, never let her in the field with other team members. It's very dangerous for her as well and for other players too... keeps this in mind son... I have full confidence over you..If anyone can tame her aggressive nature and her anger is only you who can control her... "

Maan was about to say something but stopped in mid when Geet asked "Who is controlling who? " geet asked sipping at her drinks and at the same time staring at maan. Immediately Mr.singh said " no one...by the way Geet puttar ..this is Maan Singh Khurana, the former captain of IFT..And now your new coach. "

Suddenly spit her drink on maan's tux coat and started to laugh loudly . Geet realized her mistake of thinking him as a film star, Geet "oh...hahahaha ..I ...hahahaha... I didn't mean to"

Geet left her glass nearby table, took a tissue paper and started to wipe his tux coat still smiling. Maan has never seen something so beautiful..So serine.. so mesmerizing girl in his life. Her laugh is like a musical to his ears..Her smile is like a life force. He wasn't worried about his coat all he cares is a beautiful smile on her face. Maybe mr.singh's opinion is not right, how come such a beautiful girl like her can hurt someone physically in field. Her beautiful eyes.. they have dept to it where he wants to drown himself. Her feathery touch gave him a jolt. He felt like a current passed through his whole body when she touched his torso while pressing a tissue where the drink has fell on.

Mr.singh's next words made maan to break trail of thoughts in mid. Mr.singh " Geet.. whats wrong with you?.. Don't you know how to behave ..." that's it Geet's angry barometer shot up making geet to fume within.

Maan said "It's okay sir..I don't mind at all..It's just an accident "still looking at fuming geet.

Geet just stood there straight with her hands crossed waiting for her coach to continue with his rants.

Maan chuckled looking at adorable geet, just like a angry stubborn kid. Geet saw maan's smile which made her angrier.

Mr.singh "Geet..say sorry to maan "

Maan "sir..it's alright..."

Mr.Singh "Geet ..I said ..say sorry.."

Geet still kept quite. Maan wanted to see her smiling face not this angry ..frowning geet. Maan to mr.singh "Sir..please..I don't mind at all..Now shall we introduce ourselves officially " maan said smiling at geet and changing mr.sigh's attention back to introduction. "Let Me"

Maan extended his hand towards geet "Hello Ms. Geet, I am your new coach Maan singh Khurana.."

Geet didn't want to acknowledge the hand shakes but for some reasons she didn't want to be rude to this new coach. He seemed nice and cool unlike her state coach Mr.singh who always has something to lecture on to her.

Geet shook his hand still not smiling "Hello... err.. Coach"

Maan "Nice meeting you Ms. Handa"

Geet smirked hearing him call her by sir name, "please call me geet.. "

Maan didn't want to let go of her hand but he had to when mr.singh asked him to join for the drinks. Maan wanted to refuse but some unknown reasons he couldn't say no...he was restless. He wanted to spend time with geet.. whats wrong with him? He shouldn't be thinking like this about a player, it's against the rules. He watched geet go near open window looking at the sky. Mr.singh was busy at talking football with other team players whilst maan stood there watching geet who was lost in her own world. Geet has some aura...one moment she smiles and the very next moment she is like burning fire ball. Maan thought that this girl is one big mystery and he will enjoy solving this mystery.

Maan "So ..Miss. handa .. See you tomorrow...let's see what surprise you have for stored for me in the field "

Next day 6 AM, In stadium

Maan blew a whistle to gather around the players near pavilion. Maan instructed them to form a single line vertically and asked all 18 players (11 Players + 7 extra players) to come forward and introduce themselves one by one. One by one player came forward and stared to introduce themselves,

Player 1: Myra, from west Bengal

Player 2: Sameera, from Andra Pradesh

Player 3: Mandakini, from Orissa

Player 4: Jaanaki, from Karnataka

Player 5: Anitha, from Maharashtra

Player 6: Dona, from Kerala

And the introduction goes on till the end but one player is missing and maan knew who that missing player was. Maan instructed everyone to do warm up and make 10 rounds of the field within 30 minutes looking at his timer; "and now your time starts... get set ready go..." all players ran like there is no tomorrow, everyone wanted to impress this handsome coach except one. Maan was so restless and worried about geet. Last night he couldn't sleep for a blink, every time he tried to close his eyes..all he can see is Geet's smiling face..all he can hear is her musical laughter. And he anxious to meet her today.. to see her and talk with her.. Why can't he stop thinking about her...Yet here he is waiting for her one glimpse.

Maan saw someone running towards him who had a hoodie over the head..Almost face was covered with hoodie.

Geet halt infront of maan and bent little forward panting.

Geet "Sorry ...I... woke... up ...late..." said in between her breaths.

Maan didn't want to show any extra interest in her. When it comes to purely professional, no one can beat maan's professionalism. Maan lazily said looking at his watch "You are 1900 seconds late... 10 rounds + 3 extra in 25 minutes.."

Geet thought she might be heard him wrong looking at the big stadium. "Excuse me..?"

Maan "in 24 minutes..13 rounds.." said looking at the other running players...

Geet wanted to pull his hair and kick him where it gives a hell lot of pain to him. Geet "I said ..Sorry...S-O-R-R-Y ...Geet Handa never wastes her sorry just like that...I told you why I am late"...

Maan "15 rounds in 23 minutes" said still not looking at her face.

Geet started to count from 10 to 1 to calm down...shooting a draggers at maan.

Maan was smiling inside looking at this spit fire sherni...cutest thing he ever seen...and he was enjoying this to the core.

Maan "Geet you have 22 minutes left.. You should start running now to complete 15 rounds on time...or else another 5 extra rounds if you couldn't completed in time.... " maan said cheering up other players to increase the pace "common girls you can do it...10 rounds it's just a warm up..."

Geet didn't want to say rude things to him early morning and get her very first day spoiled. Geet agreed to do extra rounds in little less time "Fine...". This is something first for Geet Handa, she never took her punishment without making a fuss.

Geet started her run while looking back at smiling maan. Geet (st)" haso ..jitna hasna hain abhi haso lo.. Mr. Hasmukh... coz I, Geet Handa will make sure you would never smile from here onwards " Geet increased her speed leaving everyone behind.
