JP Chawla aka Lalaji
Dadaji & Beeji's eldest son he has three daughters-Kasturi, Tannu & Navneet. He runs a saree shop at Chandni Chowk in Delhi. He has heart disease.
Kaushalya Chawla (Rupa Ganguly)
Kasturi's mother, she is very supportive & have always stood by her husband in bad times. She is a great pillar strength for Kasturi.
Kasturi Chawla (Shubhangi Atre)
Born in a middle class Punjabi family, Kasturi is a graduate. She is bright, intelligent, chirpy, bubbly & loves to have Puchkas in Koral Bagh right on the street. She is a girl who finds happiness even in smallest & simplest of things. She is also an ambitious person in life but doesnot forget her traditions. To get money for her father's treatment she starts working at Sabharwal company.

Kasturi's other sister who is a tomboy.

Lalaji's brother married to Alka & has four sons out of which Ajay is the eldest & other one is Tiku.
Alka Chawla (Priya Arya)
Vishesh's wife who doesnot misses a single apportuniy to taunts JP's family & put them down.
Ajay Chawla (Prabhat Bhattacharya)
Vishesh & Alka's eldest son who gets married to Pooja. He loves her sister Kasturi alot.
Tiku Chawla (Tiku Sharda)
Vishesh & Alka's other son, he always imitates bollywood stars & dresses up like Sunny Deol. He is a comic element in the show.

Head of Sabharwal family married to Devika & has one son & two daughters.
Devika Sabharwal
Purshotam 's wife & mother whose life runs on principles. She always supports truth, is practical & unbaised. She tells Kasturi that if within one month she is able to change her son then Devika will do her father's treatment.
Robby Sabharwal (Karan Patel)
Purshotam & Devika's son, he is a successful super rockstar who is very arrogant & is sued to always having his way. A complete brat, he doesnot believes in love. He listens to only two people her mother Devika & best friend Ronak.
Alaana Sabharwal (Priti Gupta)
Robby's sister, she is innocent madly in love with her husband Nikhil & is besotted by her him & believes him a lot.
Nikhil (Nikkhil Arya)
Alaana's husband, he knows his wife is besotted by him so he conviniently parks himself at his in laws place & lives off them. He is a very demaning boss who dislikes Kasturi & hence gives her lot of grief. He has an extra martial affair with his employee Pooja.

Purshotam Sabharwal's best friend & business partner.
Ronak Singhania
Dushant's only son & Robby's childhood best friend, he is simple & sweet. Robby always gives his things to Ronak. Every year there is a pooja at Sabhawal house which Robby & Ronak do together. Robby cannot refuse Ronak if he says/asks him something.
