Currently there is no need for them in the story line but I guess they have to have another track to pursue once Dhara, Jai and Deepika track is over. I know Chandrika is still out there but I think that is why these two are still shown there and why Hitesh is character seems to disintegrate day by day so that Jai and his family have another problem to solve immediately after the current one is taken care of...
