That night rey was in the basketball court. Taking out all his frustration on the basketball he was dribbling .
He goes for a basket bt misses it , the ball runs towards the entrance of the court bt someone catches it oblivious to rey. He turns to find his new found enemy standing there with the ball..
So innocent she was looking bt looks are deceiving afterall.. that's what rey thought
He stood there trying to figure out the reason of her appearance here
She came forward towards him just to hear his taunts once again
"lagta hai GS ki duties ko kuch zyada hi seriously le rhi ho" he said while walking around her and snatches the ball forcefully from her
He had a smirk on his face , she just thought that its no use talking to him and rey proved it too when he spoke next
"itna zyada kaam, (he said as a matter of fact),{ n then turned his back towards her and walked few steps }, ya fir apni AVP ko (stressing on avp) challenge set karne mein help kar rhi ho.
She smiled in her mind... She soo knew it , he is just like this only, enough is enough now, she won't sit n hear him throw his harsh words on her n then weep in a corner of her room for loving such a person.. she shook her head and turned to go but see he again spoke
"kya hus koi jawaab nhi hai dene ko?" he stood waiting for a answer from her , she had already stopped in her tracks
"wow, TAANI the GS ke paas mein kuch bolne o nhi hai" rey taunted her
Now it's enough she thought , har cheez ko sehne ki ek limit hoti, there is no fault of her's , it's his fault , he never listens to her n never tries to understand her
She turns to look at him with a determined face n walkes towards him
"toh aap chahte hai ki mai kuch bolun?" she asked
"nah..., tum chahti ho, isiliye toh yahan pe aayi thi , right?"
"haan, main ye kehne aayi thi ki aapke aur khushboo ma'am ke beech job hi kuch chal rha hai uski wajah se aap apni AGS ki duties ko tym nhi de rhe hain, so aap apni..." But rey interrupted her yet again as always irritation dripping in his tone
"soo?" said rey "problem hai?, (he pauses) huh!?"
Taani's eyebrows crease a bit in confusion "wat does he want " she thought
"ek kaam karo..uh... tum jaake meri complain kardo and then mai sports se nah happily quit kar dunga" he said irritated
Taani looked at him unbelievingly, her anger rises up a level
"mai sirf yeh kehne aayi thi, ki apni post aur apnetime ki chinta mat kijiye, mai sab sambhal lungi"
He looked at her , suddenly his expression were soft bt again his anger took over all his emotions
While taani continued " kyunki ye challenge zarur kuch bda hoga, aur aapke siva isse koi aur nhi face kar sakta" she stated firlmly
He just stared at her bt then again his rude self was back "tum baat ghuma rhi ho"
And taani was like what-the -hell
"kya zaruri hai mujhe misunderstand karna ye fir aapne decide kar liya hai, ki taani ko sirf aur sirf galat samajhna hai" she said angrily a bit, her breathing rat was increasing due to her anger
Suddenly from nowhere rey threw the ball angrily and turned towards her
It took time for her to register what happened, she was scared to see so much anger in him
He roared at her " mai tumhe galat samajh rha hun haa??"
"mai tumhe galat samajh rha hun? Sab kuch jaane ke baad bhi tumne GS ki post accept ki aur mai tumhe galat samajhrha hun" he shouted
"tumhe acche se pta tha taani, ki mere aur GS ke beech mei problems hone wali hai, uske baat bhi tumne GS banna choose kiya, so plz plz enlighten me ki main tumhe galat kaise samajh rha hun?"
A cold silence was b/w them, standing too close they could feel each other's warmth bt they were resisting it too
"agar mere jagah koi aur GS hota toh aap job hi kuch kar rhe hain wo aap kabhi nhi kar paate"
"really?" rey smirked sarcastically at her
"haan"
"aur tum ye sab nhi kar rhe ho"he asked as he stepped more close to her
"nhi" she stated confident
Rey got lost in her eyes
It was only them and the soft wind caressing them and nothing else
Suddenly taani realised the were too close n she got conscious
She started looking here and there and said "kyu..kyunki mai jaanti hun ki aap galat nhi hai"
She was looking down bt then rey's words made her look into his eyes
"jab jaanti ho toh fir mera saath kyun nhi de rhi ho?" he came more close to her and held her arms
She was lost into his eyes which were now soo soft and were shining coz of moisture in his eyes
Seeing him like this her eyes also became wet , she looked at her arm where he had held her , for the first time he had touched her
"kyunki aapki ideologies authority ke against hai aur unfortunatey main un authorities ka ek hissa hun"
The anger rose inside him again, he backed off,
"toh yahan kya kar rhi ho , jao apni so called authorities ke paas jo hamara future decide karne wali hai"
He shouted at her "go" he shouted again n taani flinched , tears started to flow
"aap mujhe kabhi nhi samjhenge rey !" she asked softly, barely able to speak
"Mai ek normal ladki hun jisne ye college sirf uss insaan ke liye join kiya jisne apne dance se sabka dil jeeta, aapko kyun lagat hai ki mai aapke passion ko nhi samajhti, bura lagta hai ki aapko wo ladki nhi dikhti, dikhta hai toh sirf uska designation...
"rey aapko yaad hai na ki maine aapse kaha tha ki mai aapko samajhna chahti hun, main aaj bhi aapko samajhna chahti hun par fark sirf itna hai ki ab mai sirf aapki dost banna chahti hun rey, par aap..." Taani said all this with tears flowing b trey interrupted her as he came close to her and held her arms tight
"dost nhi ho tum meri taani, aur na kabhi banogi" he spat his wods at her n leaves her with a jerk n turns around n brushes his hand in his hair in anger
After sometime " sahi kaha aapne, mai aapki dost nhi hun, kyunki mujhe laga tha ki mai aapko samjhti hun par main galat thi , maine toh aapko kabhi samjha hi nhi, u r right rey hum dost ho hi nhi sakte, par sirf mere aapko samajhne se kuch nhi hoga , mai toh fir bhi aapko samajhne ki koshish kar rhi hu par aapne kabhi koshish ki...? Aapke liye sirf aapke bff ki behen hun mai haina?" taani started off emotionally but ended stating her point loudly
She was testing his patience
Now that he turned to her he again held her by arms n came dangerously close, his eyes were red with anger...
"enough taani, jitni innocent tum dikhti ho utna nhi ho, tum kehti ho ki tum mujhe samajhti ho right? Toh tell me taani , kya tumne kabhi ye samjha ki mujhe kaisa laga tha jab tum uss shivam ke saath thi, tumne kabhi samjha ki mujhe kitna hurt hota tha jab tum uski side leti thi, mujhe chodh ke uske paas jaati thi, jab vo tumhe choone (touch) krne ki koshish karta toh mujhe kaisa lagta tha (his voice soft now) kya tum tab samajhpayi thi ki mere dil ke kitne tukde hue jab wo shivam tumhara haath pakad ke tumhe wahan se le gaya, kya tum tab samajh payi jab main tumhare paas aana chahta tha, tum kuch nhi jaaanti taani agar tum samajh gyi hoti toh tumne GS ki position kabhi accept nhi ki hoti, sach toh ye hai taani ki tum nhi samajhti mujhe, aur jahan tak meri tumhe samajhne ki baat hai toh main tumhe acche se jaan gaya hun" he ended with tears flowing from his eyes... he was really frustrated from months n now this avp n dance ban drama was just eating his brains, he was tired of fighting now without anyone to support him
Taani was shocked to hear what he said bt his words were hard for her to understand, she getting emotional started to speak the truth
Taani smiled amidst tears " maine shivam ke saath relationship aapki reputation bachane ke liye ki thi, maine aapki feelings ko galat samajh kar aapko hurt kiya tha par dobara aapke dukh ka reason nhi banna tha mujhe,shivam ka sach nhi jaanti thi main Galati ho gyi mujhse par maine sudhari bhi, jahan tak GS ki baat hai mujhe laga ki main aapki help kar dungi , aur... she paused n looked down... jo aapne abhi kaha wo samajhna afford nhi kar sakti thi main , aapko anur kudh ko hurt nhi karna chahti thi kyunki aaj bhi aap mujhse mafrat karte hain aur main aaj bhi aapse py..a.. I mean ...i...i.." she stopped as she realised that she spoke too much of what she really wanted to say
Rey was at loss of words bt her next words angered him
"sorry , wo... wo galti se keh..." Not able to say further she turned to go away, rey's hold was already loose...
She walked two three steps n suddenly felt a hard pull on her arms
She came back to her original position ...
"kya kaha tumne" he asked narrowing his eyes
"wo maine kuch nhi" she finished her sentence n tried to turn away from him bt he was too strong for her
"what do u mean ? tum aaj bhi mujhse kya?"
"say dammit" rey irritated by her silence shouted as he was really annyed tired and frustrated of the happenings of his life
Taani flinched n didn't say anything
Tip...
Tip..tip..
Tip...tip...tip...
It started to rain taani again turned to go bt he pulled her back
"rey baarish... hum bheeg jayenge "
"pehle tum batao kya keh rhi thi?"
"kuch nhi rey... mai bheeg rhi hun... saare kapde geele ho gye"
Now rey glanced down

her top was sticking to her body and her belly was visible to him
he pulled her close holding her waist " ab tum mujhe batao jaldi" he said brushing her strands of hair back
"wo..." she shivered with his touch
"bolo na taani " he pleaded n taani got lost in his eyes
The intensity of rain increased n her trance broke suddenly she turned to go bt slipped n fell bt rey catched her n she blurted "I love u"
Rey after a minute or so as he registered that she just confessed
Sighed with relief and made her stand straight with a smile on his face and tears that were now mixed with the rain water

He hugged her bt she didn't hug him confused on his behaviour bt then he said "I love u too taani... I love u sooo much"
Taani smiled wide after hearing him " I love u rey"
Rey held her by her waist n twirled her around
He was soo happy ...
Suddenly rey slipped n fell down with above him
Her face was glowing
Both of them had forgot the tensions they had a while ago
Now everything was fine
Atleast it seemed soo...
Taani got up and sat beside rey who was still lying
He got up too n looked at her n after a minute they bursted laughing
And hugged eachother
Now they knew that whatever may come they'll be together to fight it
