😊 This is first topic in this forum. I luv this serial jus cuz of their acting, complex characters and direction. Firstly this is my first hindi serial. I'm loving this show lik anything that i watch all episodes again & again. I've never been so crazy.
Now my take on characters.
Astha & shlok
Astha has always been consistent throughout the show. Her nature, honesty, strongness, selfless nature putting other's happiness in front of hers has always been portrayed well.Shlok, shrewd business man, Dad's boy who alwys puts his dad's image n priority before his happiness.
Shlok has been attracted towards her cuz of who she s from the day 1 as he has oli seen demanding, attention seeking, money minded gals around him. She was different. She believed in herself. This attracted him. The wall he has built around himself wit his dad's image has been under test many times. Like he caring for astha, defending her, trying to save her fear of losing her all makes the wall little shaky. Bricks are starting to fall down for sure.. Now his happiness is also a prompt fa him though he doesn't show.. He always wanted her around him by hook or crook forefully at times even b4 & after marriage.. His rudeness is jus to console himself that he doesn't believe in love and not care for her.
Regarding astha, she has always been true to herself unlike shlok. She has been in love wit shlok truly from the moment she realised. Many in this forum has been pointing her character lik she's becoming a emotional fool and forcing him by her emotional manipulations. It is not so. it her way of expressing. even b4 marriage u can see her saying i love u many a times wenevr she feels emotional. That doesn't mean she's manipulating or making him accept her desperately.
Shlok, Swati & Astha Equation.
Many are confused with the way cv's present us this. wit one more episode to go my urge is that both had trusting issues lik wat they showed yest. swati would've left breaking up their relationship. after that shlok would,ve confronted anjali. Knowing or unknowing the truth He would've been going behind her to stop her lik in kolhapur scenes,. of course due to manipulative reasons she would've left him saying he's a demon n would start a new life wit anyone else.. she might've met wit accident aft that. Aditi/gayatri jus knowing the half truth lik she met him last would've come to a conclusion on her own. Swati, shlok aditi everyone is right from their pov. But its not true love as swati chose to leave him not facing the hurdles.
While astha in spite of being hurt and betrayed by her own love chose to stay, face the hurdes, kne the true reason behind it and oaths to bring his smile back. This is wer love is defined. IPKKND,
Shlok has feelings fa her and has started understanding her nature deep inside. Though unexpressed he has moved on. His hurt n past reminders jus cuz of betrayal and unknown complete reason behind it not jus love. He had chose astha over swati long back. though it has not been interpreted yet on his own his care, fear of losing her during divorce track all shows that. if he doesn't lik her he would've easily moved on. He would not've felt for her. those dance sequences are jus to cheer your frn's mood & not to woo him. Understand :) She wants him to say he loves her cuz she deeply inside knws it. She wants to break the fight he does within himself wit his mind & heart. I don feel anything wrong in this. Redemption of shlok need not be onli in their separation. She can very well be with him n make him realise her worth. That's the best way to appreciate ur feelings more.
So pls don't be so negative about the track . Jus my pov. Many would not go wit me. That's okay..
In EBP i believe. it's different and 'll always be,
