I do not understand why the creatives show cases relating to specific illness when they do not want to do any research and show the track closer to reality. Their intention remains to show family drama always. I did not mind the Anandi getting shot through forehead and still surviving with not even a scar, forgot even the swine flu case where Jagya just by looking the patient decided that it is swine flu and later tests confirmed it or Jagya treating Nandu without taking any precautions etc.
But recent tracks are just too much creative liberty. A woman surviving a life threatening pregnancy (if the uterus was so weak that her life was in danger, how could she was climbing stairs etc. till five months or how she could carry the pregnancy till seventh month?) then gave birth by operation and within two days back to home again climbing stairs like nothing happened. Then a child suffering from blood cancer where bone marrow was urgently required and next day after bone marrow transplant, the child was at home. And now this case of Gahna's sister perhaps relates to uterine fibroids. Fibroids/tumor in uterus do not cause such intense and sudden pain neither do they require immediate operation to remove the uterus (read somewhere that it is a case of uterine tumor and her uterus will be removed means she cannot become a mother). What message in this? In India, already there is so much misconception about such conditions, and instead of showing anything real, the creatives want drama and more tears.

Sorry if I have jumped the gun and posted all this before seeing what will happen next. But today's episode reaffirmed my views that creatives have very superficial knowledge about these things - and do not want to make any effort to show things correctly. They want to show serious illness just for the sake of drama, tears and then devi maa ki kripa and miracle.

Well pointed out. BV only uses illness and social issues for drama. They masquerade as a serious, hatke, sensible show but usually take Kekta type route.

I do not think BV can ever go like Kekta but still they should be careful about issues where correct information is necessary - like Ganga's pregnancy (taking risk of losing own and her fetus's life to give the matriarch sone ki seedhi and then surviving with devi maa ki kripa), or Jagya giving her pills to avoid pregnancy (in India the burden of family planning is on women - men think it is not their concern) or now the tumor in uterus. I agree that I posted all this just on the basis of what a friend told about spoiler - I should have waited to see what will they show. Perhaps the recent tracks and the way Kanchan behaved - now eating laddoos like a child and next moment in immense pain...

As I thought - they did show regressive track. The tumor was detected and immediate operation was required and done. My cousin sister had uterine tumor which was detected after 6 months of her marriage. It was managed by conventional methods. There are several lines of treatment and if operation is necessary - just the tumor is removed leaving the uterus intact (some doctors remove uterus as a malpractice for financial gains - but that is not the case in the serial). Removing uterus is last resort even if the family is complete and the couple do not desire more children. And minimum seven days hospitalization is required - here perhaps Kanchan returned home same day!!

This was regressive and I found DS' attitude hypocritical. She was asking Kanchan, her family and Gehna to accept fate and God's will. WHY? Why didn't she accept God's will in Ganga's case and all waited for some miracle?!😡 Not to forget what she herself had done with Jamuna also once.

Puja, don't you know BV's calendars are so fast for badi haveli people, after a long time, when ganga is pregnant, anandi and shiv celebrated first wedding annivesary and in that too ansh got married before jagan but ganga gave birth to a child but not anandi. So, it will happen for medical purposes also.

It may again be explained as to show how much DS has changed. Singhs will help Kanchan and Manish - but the most Singhs can do is to support them if Kanchan's mother-in-law is not convinced with their lectures. At the most - if Kanchan's ovaries have not been removed - Gahna can offer to be surrogate mother for Kanchan and Manish.

This track will have a very bad effect on semi-literate people who have access to hospital facilities. Why creatives are showing that once tumor is detected - immediate operation is needed and uterus - not tumor has to be removed?
