Unfortunately - for both JM and Dolly - while their actions were exactly as needed in the situation to prevent JM from losing out on her future intent,
neither of them was shown in the focussed enough mien to consider that JM had won by appearing to lose.
What was shown was stark unrelieved helplessness and humiliation of the lead couple - the wife having no choice but to submit, and the husband not being able to understand the malice of the adversaries in order to effectively protect her except as a physical shield.
Their emotional bond strengthening and their care for each other should have been shown alongside JM cocking a covert (for audience-satisfaction) snook at the villains, her showing shrewd understanding and later at least self-talk acknowledgement of the situation.
Mass-audience would have seen the sympathizable helplessness of the lead couple (which they did see), but it would have been couched in the positive frame of the female lead having the self-restraint and shrewd sense to submit to the crass but momentary humiliation, and thereby succeed in her later plan by lulling the villains into a false sense of ease by yielding to them.
JM needed to yield to the outrageous demand if she intended to have enough leeway to remove Raju from the house.
But this time - as in the situation with the apology to AK - they opted not for the variety of shrewdness that conservative sensibilities would appreciate and support, but rather her submitting helplessly.
That mental triumph which could have made her the victor in the situation was not shown either time, even though it would not have eroded the mass-sympathy for the leads.
She can't fight AK at the moment in her intent to protect Raj, not because of any other reason but simply that she does not at this point have the means (financial and otherwise) to secure her stance.
She can't walk out the door with Raj overtly against AK's wishes, for two reasons.
Her concern that AK might cause further difficulties for her grandmother and Bittu, beyond merely telling Radha what he said he would.
But her far greater concern is that Raj idolizes AK, and can be induced by AK to harm himself and/or his interests.
So the hindering problem is not Radha or Bittu, but rather Raj's overt regard for AK, and her own inability to defend herself and Raj against any varieties of coercive situations that might be engineered by AK against them.
As regards Dolly keeping quiet while JM was accused of stealing Dolly's earrings, there was no explanation Dolly could have given about her earrings in JM's hands (that too with a nontrivial amount of cash) - at least no explanation that would have been believed by Tamanna or any of the family.
Dolly, Bebe and Bhupi are in the position of their dislike for AK's current actions being known even though they don't outright oppose him.
So - no matter what creative excuse Dolly might have provided for having put her earrings (and that cash JM was so imprudently holding openly while strolling in the house's main area) - it would not have taken genius for everyone to guess that Dolly was funding JM, and that therefore JM might be intending something that would require funds.
Dolly's contemptible action was not her silence during the thief-accusation and shoe-wiping, which was all that prevented JM's plans from unravelling.
Rather it was her outrageous claim to JM afterward that if she had know the situation would get that bad, she herself would have told AK the truth.
Really? She was right there to see how bad the situation was getting, not having gone momentarily blind or deaf.
She saw it all and she chose to keep quiet, though unfortunately her reasons for staying silent were quite accurate.
JM's forgiving words to Dolly were quite suited to the situation.
She ensured that she now has a guiltridden supporter who will help her - albeit covertly - further financially and otherwise.
Unfortunately she dealt with Dolly in such an openly emotional way that one can't console oneself that she considered the practical necessity of warmly forgiving Dolly.
As regards the possible adventure that JM and Raj may have in the upcoming episodes, whether that is further extended or turned into a return rather sooner to the adversaries residence may possibly depend upon JM's bridal clothes and marriage-ornaments.
She placed them in Lord Krishna's keeping in her and Raj's room at RK Mansion.
Whether that will matter practically or only symbolically (inexpensive mangalsutras are readily available in market-stalls, with the monetary price not affecting the religious worth) remains to be seen.
Just don't want RajBala to walk into a depressing trap sooner nor later. Better if they find out however accidentally of any treachery. Hope that much positivity is maintained.
