Viren's POV

Getting Up From The Bed I Stood There On The Balcony Watching The Clouds Fade Away Making The Moon Appear. It Was A Gorgeous Scenario. Just As I Took A Deep Breathe, I Felt Two Petite Hands Snaking Around My Arms. She Rested Her Head On My Shoulder.
J - "It's Been Years I Enjoyed This Kind Of Atmosphere...Feels Blissful Here. Standing With You..."
V - "I'm Sorry..." I Said Glancing At Her.
Her Head Shot Up, She Glared At Me "Are You Such A Jerk? Thanking Me And Apologizing Your Wife For Every Little Things? What If You Do Huge Mistakes Or I Make Great Sacrifices? How Are You Then Gonna Show Your Gratitude Or Your Guilt?" She Asked With Her Arched Brow.
V - "I've Many Other Ways You Know...Just Besides Saying Sorry Or Thanks..." I Said As I Leaned ForwardTo Kiss Her.
J - "Viren Ji...You Have Your Flight Tomorrow Morning Don't Forget." She Said As She Stopped Me By My Shoulders.
V - "Why Do You Always Have To Do That?" With A Sad Face I Continued "I'm Gonna Miss You Wifey"
J - "But You've To Go For The Conference Right? You Can't Miss It Viren. Just Don't Worry You'll Be Fine Without Me There..." She Said Resting Her Head On My Chest.
V - "I Know It's Gonna Be Tough For Me...Staying There For A Week!!! Nooo! Why Don't You Wish To Come Along??" I Said Nodding My Head Negatively.
J - "I've To Stay Here Viren. Who'll Take Care Of Mom. She Still Gets Fever At Nights. And Dad, And Virat? Who'll Take Care Of Them As Well?"
V - "You're Being Partial. You Care For Everyone Besides Your Husband!"
J - "Achha Ji...Aur Main In Sab Ki Fikar Kyun Karti Hoon? You're The Reason Lawyer Sahab. It's You Through Whom I'm Attached To Them..." She Said As She Glanced At Me, "Aur Rahi Baat Tumhara Khayal Rakhne Ki, I'll Do It The Same Way I Did Before Our Marriage. Khush?"
I Nodded A 'No' To Which She Giggled And Shook Her Head. Pulling Me Inside The Room She Ordered Me To Sleep. While She Slept On My Arms Hugging Me.

Next Morning I Was Woken Up By Jeevika's Alarm. I Opened My Eyes To Find Her Sleeping. She Slept Clinging To Me As She Heard The Alarm. I Decided To Get Ready, And Prepare Breakfast Today With Tarun's Help. As I Got Back To The Room I Found Jeevika Still Sleeping. She Never Did That, I Touched Her Forehead To Find It A Little Warm. God! She Had Fever. As I Caressed Her Hairs She Opened Her Eyes.
V - "Good Morning Wifey!"
J - "Good Morning Viren. You Up Before Me?" She Said As She Pressed Her Head.
V - "Your Alarm Woke Me Up. So Thought Of Letting You Sleep A Bit More. Than I Decided To Prepare Breakfast, Than I Found You've A Fever..."
J - "What Fever...? I'm Fine. And Come Again? You Prepared Breakfast? How Sweet Mr. Chef" She Said Tweaking My Cheeks.
V - "See You've A Fever. Your Fingers Are Burning As Well..."
J - "Stop It Viren! I'm Fine. I'll Be Better After A Shower. Go Wake Virat Up. And Be There On Table, I'll Join Along." She Said Pushing Blanket. She Stood Up, While I Pulled Her Sharply By Her Wrist Making Her Fall Back On Bed.
J - "Viren!?" She Called Out Loud.
V - "Jeevika!!" I Imitated Her. "You're Having A Fever. So You Stay Put On This Very Bed. And I'm Not Going To Hyderabad Now."
J - "What Rubbish Viren. I'm Just Having This Minor Fever. I'm Not Dying..."
V - "Dare You Say That Again!" I Said I Shot Her A Death Glare. "And My Decision Is Final."
J - "Viren, Listen To Me. I'm Totally Fine. And This Fever, I Have A Habit Of It. It's Totally Minor. Just Don't Worry. And Go For Your Conference." I Glanced At Her, She Assured Me By Her Smile.
V - "But You Promise You'll Not Work More? Keep Your Hobby Aside Till I Come Back..."
J - "We'll See. Now Go, I'll Be There Soon."
V - "Okay..." Kissing Her On Cheeks, I Left The Room.
Everyone Was On Breakfast Table Already.
V - "Bhai? Where's Bhabhi? She Didn't Wake Me Up..."
Va - "Nor Did She Come To Check On Me..."
Vj - "Nor Did I Get My Black Coffee..."
J - "Sorry For All The Mess That Took Place Today!"
V - "You Better?" I Asked Touching Her Forehead.
J - "Yes I'm. Told You I'll Be Fine After Shower..." She Said Taking Off My Hand And Sitting Down.
Va - "You Had A Fever? You Should Rest Jeevika.."
J - "Mom I'm Fine..." She Said As She Stood Up Serving Everyone.
V - "Mom It's No Use Telling Her. She Won't Listen..." I Said As I Eat The Sandwiches I Made, While She Glared At Me.

It Was 10 A.M By Now. Entering My Room I Found Jeevika Packing My Bag. Pulling Her Close I Edged Towards Her Lips, To Be Stopped By Her.
V - "What Now?" I Asked Annoyed.
J - "Nothing Just That You're Getting Late! You Have Your Flight Next Hour. So I Think You're Supposed To Leave Now?"
V - "Are So Excited To Send Me Away??" I Asked Leaving Her.
J - "No, Just That I Don't Want You To Ignore Your Jobs Ever Due To Me." She Said As She Rested Her Head On My Chest And Hugged Me Tight. I Hugged Her Back.
V - "If Your Done With A Hug, How About A Kiss Wifey?" I Asked Smirking, While She Stared Into My Eyes. Without Saying Further, She Kissed Me Lightly And Breaking It Immediately She Hid Herself Into My Chest Blushing.

Virat Dropped Me At The Airport.
Just As I Headed To Board On Plane My Phone Vibrated, Flashing Jeevika's Name.
V - "Missing Me Already? I Can Come Back Right Away.."
J - "No I'm Not, Just Wanted To Tell You That When You Reach There Make Sure You'll Have Something Because On Flight You'll Have Nothing And You Didn't Do A Proper Breakfast, So..."
V - "Okay, Ma'am"
We Talked For A Couple Of Minutes More. Soon My Flight Took Off.

I Stood There In Front Of My Suite With My Laptop Bag Sliding Down My Shoulder. I Sensed My Phone Vibrated Indicating A Text. I Smiled My Thanks To The Old Man Around Say 46, As He Handed Me My Suite Keys After Placing My Bags In. Entering I Dumped My Laptop Bag On The Huge Bed, Taking In The View Around. Quickly I Read The Message. It Was From Jeevika!

"As Soon.As You're Done With Jotting Some Important Points For Your Conference, Make Sure You Sleep. Good Night. And Also Have A Proper Dinner! Take Care."

I Replied -
"Sudden Change In Your Communication Mode? Texting? Okay Wifey, I'll Sleep Early, For Sure. Well I Just Reached. Hope You Had Dinner. I'll Order Mine Now...Miss You"

Then I Placed My Laptop, Dairy, Pen, And My Phone On The Table Which Was In Front Of The Fire Place. Ordered Something For Myself, And Entered The Spacious Bathroom To Take A Warm Shower. It Was Raining Cats And Mouse Outside.
Entering Back I Heard My Phone Ringing. Receiving I While A Hello.
V - "Hey..."
Ve - "What Hey? Leaving My Poor Bhabhi There, You're Enjoying?"
V - "Vedika Ji, I'm Not Here To Enjoy. And I Can't Ever Imagine Having Fun Without My Sweet Wife."
Ve - "You Know What? You're So Mean!!!"
V - "And Why Would You Say That?" I Heard A Knock On The Door, My Dinner Had Come I Guess. Opening It I Told The Room Service Guy To Place The Food On The Small Dining Table.
Ve - "I Thought You Two Would Come Here For Your Honeymoon Maybe..."
V - "Know What? If Virat Would Have Heard That He Would Have Fell Into Fits Of Laughter!" I Said As I Chuckled After Locking The Door Behind.
Ve - "Now You Know What? I'm So Dead Not Talking To You Anymore! Goodbye!"
V - "Just Listen Okay? Vedu?" God! She Just Hung Up On Me! It's Gonna Be Though To Make It Up To Her!!!

It Was 11 When I Sensed My Phone Vibrating. I Placed My Files And Dairy On The Table A I Picked Up The Call.
V - "Hello..."
"Close That Sick Laptop Of Yours! And Go To Sleep Now!"
She Roared.

V - "Jeevs? Yeah, I'm Just Done. I'll Sleep Now. Had Your Dinner?"
J - "Uhhmm Maybe Yes..."
V - "What Do You Mean By Maybe? Don't Tell me You Skipped It Jeevs!"
J - "I Ate A Little Viren. Wasn't Hungry..."
V - "Go To The Kitchen Now! And Get The Food Out, Warm It Up. I'm Not Hanging Up The Call Unless You Eat!"
J - "Can You Please Not Force Me To Eat More? I'm Not Hungry! I Just Had Some Rice And Sabji Roti, I'm Full...But Now You Sleep Please?" Just As She Said That I Heard Virat Behind "Bhabhi, Uhmm, These Is All I Could Do. Atleast Have These Sandwiches I Made"
V - "So Mrs. Liar, You Lied About Having Dinner?"
J - "No I Didn't!"
V - "Yes You Did! Hand The Phone To Virat!" I Ordered.

Vi - "Hey Bhai"
V - "Thanks For The Sandwiches! Make Sure She Eats All Of It! And Sunn, Aaj Se Wahan Ki Report Dene Ki Zimmedaari Teri! You'll Inform Me Every Single Thing Happening There!?"
Vi - "Okay Mere Bhai! Ab Aap So Jao, Fikar Not! Take Care!"
V - "Hmmm. Bye!"

I Hung Up The Phone As I Made My Self Lay On The Bed. Jeevika Was A Crazy Little Girl To Skip Her Meals Just Because I Wasn't With Her! I Smiled At This Weird Behavior Of Hers. Slowly Sleep Crept Onto Me.

My Eyes Shot Up As I Heard My Harsh Ringtone Ringing. The Rain Outside Had Stopped Now. I Could See Soft Surays Penetrating Behind The Clouds. It Was A Beautiful View Outside The Balcony. I Picked Up The Call.
J - "Good Morning! I Hope Your Up If Not, Get Up! It's 8! And..."
V - "Easy There Wifey!" I Smirked. "I Know I'm Late. Thanks For Calling Or I Would've Ended Up Sleeping Late"
J - "I Knew It! Now Hurry!! Have A Nice Day. And All The Best. Your The Speaker Today Aren't You?"
V - "Yes I'm! And I'm Really Nervous. Though I'm Prepared, Still There's This Weird Feeling..." I Said As I Walked To The Bathroom Grabbing My Clothes.
J - "Don't Just Worry You'll Be Fine...Hey I'll Hang Up Now, Take Care..."
V - "Yeah, Have Your Breakfast But! I'll Grab Something While I Tour The City After My Conference..."
J - "Hmmm..."
V - "Bye. Miss You Love..."
She Never Responded. Smiling I Hung Up The Call.

Walking Through Th Streets In The Hyderabad City Viren Sipped His Starbucks Coffee. He Took Out His Cellphone From His Pocket And Dialed Her Number.

Phone Rings Disturbing Jeevika Who's In The Kitchen Probably Cooking Dinner. She Placed The Index Finger On The Screen Received The Call And Put It On Loudspeaker.

V - "What Took You So Long Wifey?"

J - "Viren, I'm In Kitchen Cooking. Wassup?"

V - "You'll Never Ever Listen To Me Will You?"

J - "What Did I Do Now?"

V - "I Remember I Told You To Give Your Hobby A Break! Take Some Rest. Your Not Having A Fever Right?"

J - "I'm Fine. And If'll Rest Who'll Cook?"

V - "Tarun!!" Viren Screamed

T - "Jii Bhaiya?" Hearing This Virika Fell Into Fits Of Laughter.

J - "Tarun, Kisse Thoond Rahe Hon? Tumhare Bhaiya Phone Pe Baat Kar Rahe Hain..." She Said While She Giggled.

T - "Ohh, That's A Habit I Have, Bhaiya Jab Bhi Ghussa Hote Hain Thabhi Aisa Chilate Hain..."

J - "Here, Go Give This Tea To Mom." She handed The Cup To Tarun, He Left. "Viren Did You Have Something After Your..." Viren Cut Her Off In Between.
V - "Having Coffee Right Now..." Okay Now I'll Hung Up. Will Call You After Dinner. And Please, Needn't Wait For My Call! Have Your Dinner! Itti Si baat Toh Aap Maan Sakti Ho Meri?"
J - "Ji" She Said Smiling. "Take Care!"
V - "Yeah, You Take Care Too! Love You!"
J - "I Love You Too!" She Said Becoming Red.
V - "Am I Dreaming? Did My Wife Just Replied To My I Love You!??"
J - "Yes I Did!" She Said Smiling.
V - "Is The The Influence Of My Absence? Than I Think I Must..."
J - "Viren You Better Not Say About Going Away Okay!" She Was Upset Now.
V - "Reading My Mind Also Now Huh?" He Said Teasing Her.
Jeevika Didn't Reply.
V - "Hello? Jeevika?" He Then Glanced At His Phone To Find That She Hung Up.

"Oh No Viren! Now Your Dead! You Shouldn't Have Said About Going Far From Her Over And Over Again!" He Talked To Himself As He Slid His Phone Into His Pocket Continuing To Walk "Gonna Be Tough Time To Make It Up To Her Maybe! Already Start Thinking Buddy!"
