Sunny won't become the new Kat. She won't get to work with A listers. She'll be a glamour sensation for a while like Mallika Sherawat was and will fizzle out. She's 32 and we know how BW treats women they hit mid thirties.

The cricket match did affect the film's collections, as it had chances of touching the 10 crore mark otherwise. But still, the first day collection is very good, and it's the third highest opener of the year after Jai Ho and Gunday!

Ragini MMS 2 had a very strong first day as it collected around 8.25 crore nett as per early estimates. The film had good to very good collections in all circuits with single screen dominated circuits outperforming .

Basically sex and horror works in many markets but underperforms in the North and here there was the chartbuster Baby Doll to counteract that and get North on board too. The film probably lost around 10% business due to the cricket match..

But it has to be noted that the best collections at many places were in the early shows so it remains to be seen where it goes in the next few days. The film is a success due to the first day and will pull through even if there is a big crash but it remains to be seen if it can sustain and emerge a major winner.

Ragini MMS 2 had a good hold on Monday as it collected around 4.25 crore nett which is a less than 50% drop from Friday. The weekend trending was not too good and Monday was is much better than its weekend trending. The cricket matches over the weekend probably meant the weekend business was up and down..

The film has now grossed around 27.50 crore nett in four days and the week should go over to 36 crore nett which will be more than the business of Jism 2 released in 2012.

The mass circuits held up strongly with some circuits showing just 40% drop from Friday. The business of Ragini MMS over the first four days has been as follows.

Friday - 8,10,00,000

Saturday - 7,00,00,000

Sunday - 8,20,00,000

Monday - 4,25,00,000

So it seems like the film will definitely have Hit verdict at minimum! Let's see how it sustain in the next coming days/weeks...it has chances of reaching Super Hit status!

Ragini MMS 2 had a good first week as it grossed around 37.50 crore nett in week one. The film managed to sustain pretty well over the weekdays especially outside the metros. The business in big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata is not as strong as smaller cities gut pretty good for this genre.

The only place where the film has not performed well is Bangalore which has meant that Mysore circuit has seen an under performance. Normally the genre struggles in the North due to the huge presence of premium multiplexes but the Baby Doll song ensured footfalls in North as well.

The film will see competition in week two from three new releases but its hold is pretty good in some areas which should ensure the film gets to around 50 crore nett for lifetime business.
