I think the real scene might be different from the promo,

The promo was to give the main plot of hate marriage coming up.
But If he has to please the BSD and the society he has do the rituals completely.
I think he will do the rituals in front of the family and then tell her about the hate in private.

Also if they don't do the complete rituals Paro herself will not accept the marriage and god forbid if we have to see another marriage.

hmm i was wishing for it too but it wasnt😭

For it to be a legal wedding, all you need is a marriage certificate from court. The court does not care about religious rituals, which are in fact just to please the common man. So, I think marrying Paro like that won't mean anything in the eyes of the law but will please Paro because finally he will be "accepting" her. Again, he is drunk so he's not completely in senses. So that just means this is all a joke to him. Basically all this concludes is Paro will consider him her husband and BSD will be happy as the Paro thing will be all sorted. AND yes there will be another wedding happening then 😆

In rural parts of the country filling of maan in itself is considered as marriage. then comes the thread that he tied around her neck, in different parts of the country there are different types of mangalsutra not just the black beads one and in some regions tying a auspicious thread is considered as mangalsutra. now comes the pheras, the pheras are actually promises that the couple give each other in the presence of fire (agni ko sakshi maan kar) The vows are considered unbreakable, with agnidev held as both witnessing and blessing the couple's union. coming to pandit, there are different types of marriages in hindu religion and some don't need pandits for eg gandharva vivah. so from religious point of view the marriage is valid😊

The real wedding will occur when Rudra accepts Paro.
Then the show will "The End".

So let's wait for the big fat Indian wedding, all over again!
