I just came across this spell-binding VM by asmanichatri and it totally made up for this RR-less Sunday night. And hence the idea behind this post. Although I was never into VMs, I have realized that good ones can really do wonders to your mood especially if you have this nostalgic feeling.

So if you had to pick one favorite PaRud VM, what would it be?

I know the song and background music is slow but it is too profound. I remember suggesting this song to be used on SI's last bday thread but Miy and Ragz nearly killed me for this "wild" suggestion... They were like how on earth could you pick something boring? Par kiyaa karey a boring person like me falls in love with the boring stuff out there...

"What makes you beautiful" is more Sanaya like and suited her to a T! ⭐️😆

There was another one on Laal Ishq I had seen a while back but can't find it.. but the one I posted ..it's just amazing! the lyrics go so well with PaRud scenes <33

Great Post.

I'd love to check out everyone's choices. My answer is super easy. Close your eyes and bookmark ANYTHING asmanichatri does. I am currently suffering from what I can only describe as pure utter obsession and awe, for this talented woman's work. I can barely handle a word document (PrincessSunara will bear me out here!) so the way she uses the EXACT right song for the entire VM, adding the perfect scene, blending the right mood, the perfect counterpoint to the lyrics, chooses the right image from so many at her fingertips--its genius.

What is super important to me, in a VM is that the song doesn't butcher the whole experience, which so many of them do. Her song choices are never banal, or for that matter, all that common. Some choices are ones I've never even heard before, and yet--they work brilliantly. They all resonate with Rangrasiya--they aren't simply there because they are popular selections.

I swear, I'm actually waiting for some eager 14 year old to do a "Palat Tera Hero Idhar Hai" VM to Rudra/Paro using that powerful Baraat scene, so it can get ruined for life for me!!

My favorite, for the way it combined Rudra and Paro's innocence, their childhood interaction, with their darker passion filled life as it is now is this one by asmanichatri: https://vimeo.com/88530458

Also check out Naina Thag Lenge. its on the link above, in the scroll. She's captured every nuance and emotive expression is Ashish's eyes, combining them with Sanaya's perfect counterpoint--and you have to admit, that is some feat!
