A-K reunion...a nuisance!

What was a mode of venting out frustration in a line or two has turned out to be a long post. Please bear with me and feel free to punch or kick me after reading through the post.

OK, here I begin...

Allow me to burst your 'A-K forever' and 'A-K reunion' bubble! I am so disheartened with the way the events unfolded in tonight's episode.

Both IQ and Neha, well mostly IQ, managed to downplay the emotions so damn well that what should have been a hard-hitting scenario, the long-awaited, and infamous reunion , turned out to be mediocre 'hug-scene' with zero impact . My screen didn't sizle tonight! Is it that Neha has improved her acting skills so much that IQ's persona and character has started to fade in front of krips or that IQ hasn't been putting much effort into his work? Maybe it is shortage in script?

Anyways, I bite my tongue while I confess...A-K separate was a better scenario that A-K together. Call me a bitter person or just a lover of heigthened and extreme emotions, but I am gonna say it time and again that tonight's episode was a let-down. Only if ekta/her team invests 1/4 of the money spent in making the colorful promos for the actual soap and dialogue writing!

What made it even worse was that the scene wasn't original. Has Ekta take
n a vow to pay her homage to DDLJ, KKHH, and DTPH, just like naming all her soaps with the letter 'K'? I wish she could and would be sued and penailized for plagerizing scenes/dialouges right out of yash-rah/dharma movies. You know what,if she doesn't have the means or sense to hire creative team members, she should either quit the business or specifically for this case, just put pictures of A-K on each end of the screen and cite or put captions on the screen: "please refer to so and so movie,and so and so scene. This activity will not only help you stimulate your imagination but also salvage moments our team members can't even begin to think about!" Lots of her money would be saved.

On top of that, the events in the episode were a little shaky! The editor really ought to pay attention to the sequence in which the scenes ought to be put together.

1. Krips had decided that she was gonna give her last performance with angad (hence the DTPH-like rehearsal scene) before the reunion. The concert happened! Ekta cheaped out by not showing a single performance by the couple. For reunion, A-K performed the DTPH-like scene. The reheasal for this scene took place even before prithvi planned this show for A-K. (*sigh)

2. Where do KYPH journalists/newspapers get their news from? Angad, a well known rock-star (?), saw so many ups and downs in his life and what importance is he given? His downfall was never shown as 'hot news'! Nobody questioned why and how anything was happening? Again, krips becomes a big rockstar (?) and guess what...doesn't make it to the headlines. What is worse is people don't recognize her on the streets (begging for a phone to call prithvi)! But, in tonight's episode the headlines read..."Angad and krips get back together". Did the journalists ever know that angad and krips were in a rocky relationship or were the slightest bit involved with each other. I wonder how much money ekta paid these jouranlists/newspapers to suppress the news of break-up, miscarriage, etc., but then took money from them for spilling the beans to the public after the reunion. Or maybe the journalists in KYPH, like ekta's team, don't qualify for their jobs either!

3. Were A-K supposed to play themselves in the play? Did they see it fit to display their innermost feelings and lives on stage in front of millions of people (I doubt there were only about 5 or so) on stage?

Are the audience supposed to take all this idiocy. Uff...okay, I am done spilling out nothing but bitterness for ekta, her team, IQ, Neha, Angad, Krips and the downplay of emotions! But aaha, I do have something positive for my post, too.

1. I loved it that angad went to meet krips dad and admit that he was in the wrong and should be given another chance...o my god, that was so gutsy...if I were him, I couldn't have done so! Just amazing..one of the positive aspects of angad's character.

2. I don't like prithvi very much, but his emotions/cry was so genuine tonight. I loved the underlying emotions(big one for me) while he was talking to krips.

Ok, that is it! As much as it pains me to admit, but I have got to say the Angad and Krips have lost their initial charm! The mellowness of their characters need to dampen out or take a back seat! High passion, emotions, fire and original scenes need to come back to put life back into KYPH.

Waiting for the firey display...in hopes of falling in love with A-K once again!

They did loose their charm, something was really a miss there...from the hug to the romantic talks...I totally agree with u...

Agree with you on everything but I beg to differ ...A-K have not lost their initial charm.....love is not always about heightened emotions, passionate confrontations and high drama...it can be subtle and slow...intense and quiet but burning inside...and that was exactly what Angad-Kripa did yesterday.

IQ was just fine as Angad in his intense but toned-down confrontaion with Kripa...he doesn't need to scream and shake her up all the time....I think that scene was beautifully done and inspite of it's share of the silly factor, I won't call it a nuisance.

But yeah, I agree with rest of your comments on KYPH yesterday...plagiarism, bad editing, script loopholes etc etc etc but then, it's K-Land. Whta else do you expect?

i guess i dont agree wid ur saying coz i feel tht now angad and kripa's relationship has become matured and now they both know wht they have to do in life so i dont think ur rite

totally agree with you. they dont always have to be in a romantic scene or mood to show how much thy love each other. i dont think thy have lost their charm, i love the tango , the dtph scene where angad put his own dialogues, and the hug, i thought those were full of emotions, and were performed wonderfully by IQ-Neha.

Exactly, Moonie.....Angad-Kripa are no longer a passion-driven Mills And Boon couple! They have seen their love and themselves traverse such difficult waters that a mature understanding and a silent comfort has settled in.My definition of true love is definitely not the Sizzle Factor...sizzle factor is just an ingredient and I think we got a massive dose of that in the Tabela scene, didn't we? Let A-K be, c'mon.

I agree here. Today IQ's performance was lackadaisical. In the romantic scene, he looked ferocious, as if he is threatening her.😕 He shud be looking convincing, not threatening her in front of ppl. Sorry, but Iq's performance sucked today.

Angad: Dont U dare deny me

lately I have been noticing that Angad has too many eyes-wide open expressions, as if he is trying not to doze off. I saw that in the new promo link too, when they are sitting . That guys needs some sleep😕 Well so do I, good night!!!
