So here I am, trying to make up with posts so Sejal won't scold me too if the forum ranking goes down due to low activity. It doesn't look good for the EMA fan of the week to not be active na? So decided to make another post lol. Remember this scene?
Can I just take a moment and indulge at how amazingly this scene was portrayed? đđ
Now that I look back, I know that a lot of you were expecting him to be angry, while others were disappointed at him for doing the same. Now let me take you through the mind of our very own Raghav baba.
Raghav - someone who had to fend for himself and grew up to be very lonely. A person who always had to watch his back because he knew that anyone could stab him from there. A person who's faced a lot and has tried to make himself so strong that he's able to survive those situations. Here is that very person who falls in love. He tries to deny it but he falls in love and guess what happen? When he finally accepts it, she doesn't believe him. It sounds like a dream to her and a lot of problems arise. Still, he doesn't relent because he never learned how to give up in life.
Now, I know that many people already provided justifications for this scene and I am not here just to do that. I have a different outlook of this very scene and I will show you how. First let's mention the obvious, his anger was understandable. No, I am not justifying him but I can see where he was coming from. I know that he could've handled it better but it was too spontaneous and too easy for him fall back to his old routine. The important thing? He realized his mistake.
Alright so let's recap a bit at what SaGhav's conversation. Raghav likes his privacy as he explained himself. He felt violated when he saw her moving his stuff around - it was his stuff, not anyone else's to touch. Again, he could've have gotten mad in a more polite way lol.
The thing is that he felt violated - Same as when he felt when she started knocking and opening up his heart. Yes folks, it reminded me of Raghav's realization of love.
Remember how when she started entering his life without his control, how mad he was? He likes being in control. He likes his space so when someone invaded it - he was mad! He didn't like that he was giving someone that power. Same happened in this scene. He didn't mind bringing her in so long as she doesn't touch anything or move anything out of place or change anything (love changed him and he didn't like it at first). He wanted everything to be the same just like he wanted himself to remain in his revenge mode and focus on Paki instead before. He got so mad when she did change things around, just like he was mad that she came knocking at his heart even though she was uninvited.
Then what happened? He realized his mistake through her, both of the times. It was her thoughts that made him realize that he was in love. It was the same this time too when her tears made him realize that he was at fault. This was more real and raw. He knew that he made a mistake. Then what happened? He tried to make it right by apologizing, same way he tried to make it right with confession by trying to confront her on the same day. Then what? she didn't listen. On both occasions, she tried to run. One situation, she was just so overwhelmed with his feelings that she didn't know how to react. In another situation, she was hurt, because she thought that she was doing something right. She wanted to be part of his world but he had refused her interference. It hurt her and she didn't want any of that.
However, they found a cupid both times. The first time, it came in form of Sammy who made Raghav realize the importance of his feelings and how he should give Kalpi time. This time, it was his mom who prompted Kalpi to talk to Raghav to clear the misunderstanding and at least try to listen to him. So folks, now you see the significance of this fight? It was much needed for their relationship to take another step. The result of this fight being resolved quickly shows the level of understanding they share now, in contrast to what they shared before. Fights are making them understand each other better and open up more. I am glad that Kalpi finally admits to Tai that she likes himđł
She's constantly shown to be his reminders to reality. She's shown to humanize him, and that's the reason we love this jodi so much right? So, here's my two cents on this. Sorry for another long one. I am just in love with this scene. Do add on what you thought? Sorry that I am late to the party. Just been super busy with Uni and only got some time now to make post about this.
