If they wanted viewers to empathise with Rudra, then why did they make him the cruel drunkard man dragging the innocent paro, that is contradictory right ? since Paro's proposal, they made Paro project as the only right one and Rudra the wrong one, yes that is a different thing that in their process of selling the evergreen white and innocent Paro they have irritated the viewers who inclined towards Rudra more. Again thats a faulty writing and not deliberate biasness towards Rudra's character.

I agree with you, what an actor delivers depends on what he is given or what she is given. If the whole wedding process gave more footage to Rudra, then Paro had her share of footage too. Why do we forget that the ultimate maha episode last week focussed more on Paro, she was given brilliant dialogues, and Rudra had less of his share, but still i have found more people once again supporting Rudra, i have read topics which state that Ashish still stole the show with his expressions when he was not given a single dialogue.

If CVs want to justify Rudra's acts, then surely they know what they are doing, usually we see everything is women centric in hindi shows, it is a revoulution in Rangrasiya that first time the male lead ended up being the centre of attraction for both the writers and viewers. CVs, if they can continue with it and earn success then i think they can go ahead, because this was not the case initially, initially even Paro had the same amount of importance which kind of faded away now, either its just for this week, or for this whole track, but I am sure they wont just sideline her character in order glorify Rudra.

And lastly, i nowhere mentioned or meant that Sanaya as an actor is inferior to Ashish the actor. I just stated my opinion on how i find Ashish flawless in every frame irrespective of Rudra's actions, he makes Rudra more believable, and he gets brownies as Rudra is 100 times more comples, layered and unpredictable than that off Paro.

@ Ashish sells Rudra convincingly irrespective of other factors: Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore Ashish's acting. But I would have to disagree with this one. Yes Ashish is a brilliant actor. And yes he sells Rudra convincingly, but even he would find it difficult to do that if he were given an absolutely unconvincing role to essay - say being spineless like Samrat. A great part of Ashish's appeal is his character and a grey character is always much more interesting than a black or white one.
@ If they wanted viewers to empathise with Rudra, then why did they make him the cruel drunkard man dragging the innocent paro, that is contradictory right ? :They've been building empathy for him over many, many episodes. Showing us how much his job means to him. Giving his pov in the HQ. Showing him devastated and numbing his pain with drink but not succeeding, and still not raging. Showing Paro smiling and decking up as abride while he is stripped. The sympathy at this point is all with Rudra. At this point we are all begging for Rudra to find release. And hence won't be too put off if he drags Paro to the pheras.
@If the whole wedding process gave more footage to Rudra, then Paro had her share of footage too. Why do we forget that the ultimate maha episode last week focussed more on Paro, she was given brilliant dialogues: But what about the quality of that footage - Paro proposing to Rudra in a public place was abhorrent to most viewers. But that's one specific instance. It's not just the amount of screentime it's also the quality that makes a difference.
@ usually we see everything is women centric in hindi shows, it is a revoulution in Rangrasiya that first time the male lead ended up being the centre of attraction for both the writers and viewers: I haven't seen that many soaps to generalise, but if that is the case, then I agree that this is a revolutionary tactic for RR and a great one.
@ And lastly, i nowhere mentioned or meant that Sanaya as an actor is inferior to Ashish the actor.
Not overtly but you seemed to imply it with this juxtaposition - "...RangRasiya belongs to him currently. I know Sanaya is hugely popular and has more fans, but I started watching the show only after watching one of the episodes where Ashish had impressed me..." Which I took to read that Sanaya may have more fans but that Ashish impressed you. But if that's not how it was meant and you are saying it isn't then I'd be happy to apologise for the misunderstanding. But you've yet again said it here : "i find Ashish flawless in every frame irrespective of Rudra's actions, he makes Rudra more believable, and he gets brownies as Rudra is 100 times more comples, layered and unpredictable than that off Paro." when you compare Ashish's portrayal of Rudra to Paro. And incidentally, Paro is a very difficult role to portray right because of how 'white' she is made out to be.
I think it might be best to leave out comparisons to Paro if all you want to do is to adore Ashish and Rudra. 😊

Yes I remembered her feet making imprints but then he also had filled her maang. Since they repeated that scene I expected this also to be repeated. 😭

I would have preferred some rhyming vows

Thou shall not be trusted
Thou shall not be respected
Thou shall not be loved
Thou shall not be cherished
Thou shall not be devoured
...
Well I will stop now

But why did you stop just as it was getting interesting!!!

@Sabs: I'm obsessed with this forum too thanks to Rangrasiya which is to solely be blamed for an (otherwise) sane, practical, working woman visiting this forum multiple times to obsess some more😊
And just wanted to share that what I love about your thread is that most people read your posts (of course) and other posts on the thread as well in such detail and write with so much passion on each little point, that I have to keep coming back here especially to read and re read and re post! Pleasure to be in the company of such lovely writers who put so much thought and effort into each post here 👏

Awww Chamkeeli, you absolutely made my day!!
I have to say I'm in the same boat. It has to be obsession when the names on the thread are more familiar and welcome than some real-life people I know. 😲😆
And thanks so much for the feedback. if what you say is true about people reading posts through then really all the hard work and sleepless nights become so very worthwhile. 😊
You do know now you've opened yourself to being tapped for more feedback in the future, don't you. 😉😃
