Horrific begining to a fabulous ending...

After a horrific first part - which i sincerely hope to forget I EVER saw on this show, i cringed at every second..

Cz first of all I am actually allergic to milk and I cannot believe the torture if I am forced to drink it. And they made it a bloody joke! What bhoot got in to Hedge's head I don't know, the one answer that comes to my head - from the past is too horrific to contemplate..

The bloody scene could have SHOULD have been avoided1 Got him to drink and pass out halfway on bed and half out and Paro putting him fully in bed would have been more than sufficient. The thought behind was fine - the comedy made that otherwise Paro's caring thoughts for him at the peril of her own health part too light!

And the next part was perfectly fine - she is scared of mice. She once got on to the almirah for it. So that was very realistic and perfectly fine how she tried to first move away from his touch and then slept.

Now coming to the actual episode.

The next morning.
It was fabulous!! šŸ‘

And as expected Paro reserved the reactions, questions, feelings everything till he was sober. cz as I expected she had enough sense to not to deal with a drunk man about serious issues.

Then the next morning that unexpected curverball he sent with telling he does not remember the marriage.. That again stalled her reaction. cz she had a different issue to deal with.

But the moment Rudra in SANE mind admitted to what he did and what he remembered then the exact reaction of Paro began.
She probably held on to the excuse of his inebriated state as an excuse. that he did it all cz he was drunk and he wouldn't be like that when he came back to his senses..
But you could see Rudra shattering that belief.. And that is the moment Paro's reaction which was frozen from last night started coming out.

She didn't speak, she quietly left. And she huddled in a corner to lick her wounds.. cz honestly I don't think she realized that just the fact that someone getting a snap of her being in the rain and the implication of him mistreating her would be sufficient for him to lose his job.
Paro does not come from a world where human rights councils and women's rights have been explained to her. She did not coherently I think understand what he did mention last night.

She took only that she was somewhat responsible and that is why he got drunk and reacted and that part was her fault.
But she expected a sane Rudra to make everything fine, to give her chance to help fix things.

But when his behavior baffled her she just left and sat there numbed and cried the tears she didn't shed the night before cz the night before she held the 'alcohol' responsible, not her 'major saab' that is why she wanted him to be sane as soon as possible so he could tell her he didn't mean all those things..

And when he came for her, as always the straightforward simple Paro asked him that she doesn't understand why he is behaving as he is doing..
And then he explained that she was responsible for the loss of his job - while he was sane! And then the hatred he had for her as he promised that the tears that trickled down her cheeks would be a permanent fixation in her life.

And then she wanted to go away from him, put some distance.. to process what he had told her..
And when she tried to go she cut her hand..

AND NOW when he tried to touch her, now finally - she reacted, in anger.. She asked why would he be concerned about her bleeding when he clearly enjoyed her tears!
And she was going to fight tooth and nail for it.. till he told the magic words.. not words of anger, not words of superiority.. but words of care, 'itna toh haq banta hai mera...' and she stared at this man who was completely muddling her..
Paro is simple, straightforward, direct. She does NOT understand this man oscillating b/w two avatars.
And she is hopefully enough to pray that this caring man is the real one. And she is trying to read him in that last scene...

Paro is ready to forgive the alcohol. Not Rudra who would set out to hurt her.
Paro is ready to pause only when she sees the caring glimpses of her major saab, when she reads something different in his actions than in his words..

Basically I am clicking Ctrl+Alt+Del on that nightmarish first half of this show and pray to god that GH does not bring that crap to this show!!

Cz that 2nd half proved like they had been doing till now that they can actually do something well.
Just to lighten the episode they should NOT put these crap in to the middle of the 2 main leads!

That one liner from Rudra to Kaki about kaka should have been educated about handling her - that is the kind of sarcastic humor I expect of this show.
Not the crass crap that is recycled from the show that should not be named! Specially not with Paro and Rudra, because none of them r bubbly or immature. Not in the sense that childish Khushi was. For her most of the time that OTT ness was a coping mechanism.
I am sorry for writing this comparison. But this is to say - for Paro this crap is not her coping mechanism! So they better not bring that in cz her faith and perseverance and resilience is more than enough!

parud cute scenes r different.. they r subtle n cute.. not in ur face like this :(((

I would have rated this episode 10 out of 10, specially with that precap. But I am marking it 7 out of 10 (that too I am being charitable cz i am truly horrified at that first part)

I agree with most of your post !
Yet am I the only one that enjoyed the beginning?

Such a nice breather from the intensity of yesterdays episode.

I don't think that you can call her drinking milk horrific, it showed to us how far she will go to demonstrate her love for Rudra,

I liked the comic timing too, It was definitely needed!

the thought behind it was perfectly fine to me!

But it rankled too much of Khushi for me to enjoy that scene - that is why i said that pulling him across the room, all that tumbling and evrything was just out of order.. it seemed forced and out of sync
Its not the levity - its the type of levity.

See I am perfectly happy to enjoy her being scared of the mouse and the antics.

But not this full 10 mins of that alcohol/milk drama..

I don't want to see such stuff. RR has a much darker very sarcastic humor in it which i totally enjoy!

And he cute scenes b/w parud r not OTT like this - i like the subtleness of their funny scenes till now.

This was not parud and that was off for me.

but i loved every bit of the rest of the episode

Nice post Sunara.
Finally, Paro's reaction came and came exactly as I expected of her.
You did not like the first half...
I loved it Sunara. I did not see it as a coping mechanism.
Rudra was drunk and so he was doing just that...being drunk.
And Paro just did what she had to to make him stop drinking. That was cute.
The cutest thing was him falling on her and then the bed and mice scene were hilarious.

Yes maybe there was a little bit of khushi, but it was very situational so it worked fine for me.

Loved the whole deal.

ok here is it - i enjoyed it when Khushi did it. But for me somehow the scene was too IPKish to differntiate.

Anyway let's forget that and appreciate that fab next part! It ROCKED! šŸ‘
