I am not sure.. but somehow it has now ended up as a cross between a Once Upon a Time serial and Mahadev šŸ˜†

LašŸ¤—
i think in their desperation to get them married and under one roof before IPL and elections happen triggered it off Tejawat track was too abrupt and her subsequent realization to dust and move on with no time spent on her betrayal by a father figure makes a sorry in another show rather meaningful
They do not seem to want to lavish attention on the FL hoping we will get her because all we want is to see a laub story Just how dumb do they think we are ?
oh yes the cross is very evident and throw another superstar show and voila the trinity šŸ˜†

If Paro is a weak character, at least show it consistently.

It was the lack of consistency in her reactions that got me yesterday. One moment she is crying, next she faints and then she smiles and willingly goes with her drunk husband to their bedroom?

I don't get it.

Anyhow for whatever reasons Sanaya chose the role, I like the show in parts and criticise it in parts. When I can no longer enjoy the show I will stop watching it. I can't watch the show just for Sanaya or just for the heck of criticising everything about it. As it is I have way too much stress in my life.

NB you and I are floating in the same boat I do wish they had given her a soliloquy over her feelings over the so called marriage and vows We could have figured her inner thoughts They gave one to the ML before his action of marrying her and that is where the skewered oversight is really starting to show They have made this look romantic in her eyes all that she wanted Paro went through the 7 stages of grief in 7 seconds and now is the good wife
There is too much inconsistency in the scenes and other actors as well The idea of a senior citizen getting up from a coma and going off on a pilgrimage the next day beggars belief
Now i do understand they wanted her to be seen in his mothers sari for the so called 8 vows then write a scene why she wore it they way they pictured it she was looking heartless while he was the defeated soul Now do you think TRP viewers are going to be drawn or change with the remote

See she was doing quite alright till that ill thought out PDA track All the creatives had to do was make it look accidental the public spectacle Right now he is looking holier than thou and she a doltish witch His justifications come off correctly and when you need sympathy for the female this is not how you go about it I am going to see how the creatives are planning on surprising us but if they are going to continue with this current theme of just him it will reflect in the TRP All the shows that are topping have well written FL character no matter how regressive or throwback they maybe So did the absinthe help?😃

Yes. Yes. Yes. Certainly did. 😃Thank you. But how abt taking up someone's suggestion of one shot everytime she takes a sip of milk in the coming episode? Might need some more to sit through thatšŸ˜†

@bold on FL, Well written,stable...yes...and presented in way that allows the audience which is mostly women to connect to them irrespective of how they are. there is no ambiguity over their thought process and it remains fairly consistent throughout .šŸ‘šŸ¼That whole bit after he walks off after the "marriage ceremony" was badly put together...Ok I better keep mum, I don't want to say any more.🄱 Let's hope they surprise us in a good way today...let see.

FLS, deja vu indeed. I am not sure which is crazier - actor fandoms or character fandoms. If you get Paro power to you, if you do not get Paro power to you too 😃-does not make one group smarter over the other. Whether one understands Paro is one thing but mocking the intelligence of the group that does not get a character is another thing.. it stops being a discussion about a fictional show, that is the reason the forum is so volatile these days. I have to admit the reason I still catch the show despite not liking Paro's etch is the discussions of different types.. that since Monday is taking an absolute nosedive.

Sometime back, in the very starting someone had made a post about Paro's hair style/cut and how it didn't suited a Rajasthani village girl.
And I had shared the TM's grievance with the fact that I wanted to see Paro/Parvati in Rangrasiya and not Sanaya, accepting the fact that television actors can't just do an Amir Khan perfection of character coz with daily soaps the fate is quite unpredictable and you may end up in a weird look if the show ends prematurely, which with films don't happen generally as the movies do get completed, their fate as good or bad is an after thought. But that doesn't mean a lil input to character building will hurt anyone, in manner of clothing, speaking, walking and gestures.

But after a certain few episodes it was quite clear that the use of Sanaya's pretty face, glorifying the beauty and not the substance started out. A beautiful woman will always be beautiful whether she is made to wear miniscule cholis or draped in yards. Almost every other female character in RR has a distinct style to their characters, which separates them from what they may be in real, but with Paro it was major ruse of what would appeal to the people watching the lead heroine and how Sanaya is a confident lady to don anything and walk around with all grace, but that was not Paro. Her mami is the sole bread earner but Paro's clothes were too top notch, her friend was the bold belle but she was more demure in clothes whereas Paro's clothes left very little to imagination.

I don't want to talk about clothes n hair n stuff but it irked me every time I came to this forum to see Ashish being praised for his acting and Sanaya for for how beautiful she looked and it just is not right. I dont know how to word it but Sanaya is beautiful and Paro will look beautiful in anything, even the widow's clothes that she should have donned coz Sanaya makes her beautiful, but Paro is many more things than that, which got lost somewhere after she had pointed the gun to her head.

A very intelligent, thought provoking, lucid post in a looong time

I wonder too if they are now pandering to the audience need for both as a couple Deja vu again and yes TRP is paramount but in this case it does not seem to be working with the regular aam viewers of India
just bugged out over the way the tale is unfolding and makes that other love story seem mature in comparison

completely agree with you, I lost interest in the show and haven't been following it and till about 2 weeks ago I was okay before with how the show was progressing and then suddenly things started moving too fast for me with Paro proposing to Rudra at the BSD office...so I gracefully and quietly stopped watching...I love Ashish and Sanaya...and all the other actors that make RR immensely watchable..but somewhere for me I feel the story is falling apart and even the love that Paro feels for Rudra feels a little forced to me...
I didn't post any of my opinions in an independent post because I will be portrayed as a basher...sometimes the backlash is very harsh when you are not praising the show, the reactions can be very severe from other IF members. But I am glad that there are a few like me who really don't want to stop watching the show but are questioning the progress in general.
The show is meant to be dark and Rudra is supposed to be this unyielding sort of character...and I am okay with that, but somewhere the entire story seems to be a little rushed to me.
My opinion...and I reiterate "I completely follow the "dekhna hain toh dekho" advice.
