Actor Varun Dhawan has confirmed that
he will start shooting for the sequel of
2013 dance film, ABCD', in July this
year. The actor, who is all geared up
with his next release, Main Tera Hero',
is scheduled to start working on the film
by July 20.

With Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'
wrapped up, the actor will now focus on
Remo D'souza's directorial venture,
which also stars some artists from the
previous film.
While talking to Screen, the actor also
spoke about his character in Main Tera
Hero'. The young guy, who is called
Sreenath Prasad, is shown to be from
Ooty, with Nilgiri origins. But, his
character does not depict characteristics
of any specific culture. Major portions of
the film were actually shot in the
mountainous regions of Ooty, before
they shift focus on his student days in
Bengaluru. Refuting initial rumours
about him playing a Tamil boy and
talking with an accent in the film,
Dhawan confirmed that he is just
playing a normal guy with no added
accent.
"My character Seenu (as he is fondly
called) is a cool guy and the character
does not have any religion or caste
strings attached. I have spoken normal
Hindi and English in the film, since my
character didn't require any particular
accent. I can't say anything more than
that, but I think every young guy will
relate to him," mentioned Dhawan.
The actor, who recently finished a
multi-city and country tour to promote
the film, is excited about trying out
different genres with his upcoming
films.

Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor in
Remo's sequel to ABCD?
She has just wrapped up a film with
Sidharth Malhotra.
And now we've come to know that
Shraddha Kapoor is set to star opposite
Varun Dhawan in choreographer-
director Remo D'Souza's sequel to his
2013 dance film, ABCD (Any Body Can
Dance).
Although speculations has been on since
the beginning of 2014 about Shraddha
doing the film, insiders now confirm that
the actor is part of the sequel. "Remo sir
has finalised her. While the first part
required newcomers, this time we are
roping in established names since it's
the demand of the script. And since
Shraddha and Varun have never worked
together, the pairing will also be fresh.
Plus, they are both great dancers," says
an insider close to the development.
We tried to reach Varun about
Shraddha's casting, but he wasn't
available for comment.
When we contacted Remo, although he
didn't deny the news, he only said, "We
are still in talks with actors (for the
female lead), so I can't comment on it.
Please wait for the official
announcement."
Currently, Shraddha is working in Vishal
Bhardwaj's next with Shahid Kapoor,
and Mohit Suri's film with Sidharth is in
the pipeline.
"She will finish both the films before
starting this project with Varun because
it's not going to be an easy film. There
will be a lot of dancing involved in the
film and they have to train hard for it,"
adds the insider. </html </html

Man, I really wished Remo stuck to his dancers for this. Varun's an amazing dancer but ABCD was so balanced with Dharmesh, Salman, Puneet and Prince and everyone. I hope this doesn't mean they're going to be completely side-tracked.

And Raghav better be in this!!
