Thoughts on the episode.I am going to start Anjali and Kalini and I come to Jyoti part later on.
Kalindi who has now decided to take a step back and give Astha her support, prudently decided to visit Astha's family bearing sweets and gifts. As soon as Anjali saw Kalindi and Avadhut entering the Agnohtri mansion bearing their gifts, she went into attack mode and started taunting Kalindi😳. Anjali is doing this on Neeranjan's wishes but is she also feeling defensive? However much she tries to subdue her real emotions, can she really not feel guilty?I think she does, she like Shlockie boy has different ways of dealing with it. Yesterday at court she was calm with Kalindi when she ccould have very thrown a mini tantrum there itself. Anyway, Anjali wanted to wind up Kalindi who very calmly told her that there has been misunderstanding between the two families and can't they let the past go and move ahead. This scene reminded me of an adult talking to a recalcitrant child who is prone to temper tantrums.🤔 Kalindi very calmly continues that being a mother she might have read some things wrong and she might have made mistakes. Anjali with a very pompous tone (reminded me of baby bear's pompous tone when he looks down on honeypot or her family😳) sarcastically reminded Kalindi that there were many mistakes. What an irony of life...Kalindi for her daughter is putting her fears aside and trying to see to it that her daughter is happy...and Anjali who is very quick to criticize Kalindi is not ready to help her own daughter, because of her fears and her emotions regarding her husband. One mother is putting her daughter before self while the other is putting her fears before her daughter. Anyway Kalindi tells Anjali that she might not be able to change Anjali's thought process but can't they co-exist and look at the future. Isn't Kalindi right, what is the use of wasting ones time and energy on something that is not going to change? Isn't it better to invest the same time and energy on something that is of value to her? Astha's future and happiness. Astha also said something similar to Shloke yesterday... when he told her pompously that she does not understand his baba's POV, Astha indirectly told him that understanding his baba's POV is not as important for her as Shloke is. But Astha does have a tendency to be sidetracked. That is why she needs her mother's guidance and support so that she does not get side tracked by some other project that she unearths at the Agnihotri mansion which is a big store house for buried skeletons. Anyway, as soon as Kalindi uttered the word "moving forward in life" and even before Anjali could say anything Neeranjan comes running (with his victory music in the background)😆🤣 and strutting like a proud peacock in full bloom tells Kalindi that of course they can😳. I was laughing seeing Neeranjan's eagerness to get back into the Kirloskar's good books because he needs them to play his next game. The amount of energy that Neeranjan spends cooking his various plans...if only he had spent the same amount of time judiciously he would have been much more contented man😳. But being content is not in Neeranjan's books...his aim is to prove a point and to get his pound of flesh in any way possible😳. Anyway Neeranjan asks the Kirloskars to make themselves comfortable and Anjali was giving her usual penetrating look. Her expression made me think that whether she is thinking that do these lambs know that they are being fattened for slaughter? Anyway Neernajan calls out for Astha and Shloke...Astha is very happy and surprised to see her parents and goes to hug them. When Shloke arrives, Neeranjan proudly tells him to touch the Kirloskar's feet and take their blessing. For what? So that he can be used in this new game plan of Neeranjan's. Something like a carrot that the Kirloskars can chew on while they are getting slaughtered. Sucking the life out of Astha will be slaughtering the Kirloskars, especially Kalindi (she did tell baby bear later on that her heart resides in Astha). Kalindi invites them for dinner and Neeranjan looking very pleased with himself looks at Anjali who stands in attentions and tells Kalindi that it is a bit difficult for them to come but they will send Astha. Why? Because going for dinner means by gones and really by gones and there are no bones to pick😳. Whereas here by gones and not by gones and there is just not one bone but a big graveyard to pick😳. Astha is a bit surprised by what Anjali said. In fact Sojal was also surprised. Anyway, Neeranjan tells the Kirloskars that Astha will go and Shloke will also go with her.Oh yes the all-important carrot. Neeranjan as usual looked at Anjali and asked his trademark question that whether what he is saying is the right thing and Anjali with an uninterested expression told him that yes he was. Wonder what would have happened if she had said no? 🤔Anyway the Kirlodskars were actually looking as if they are really going to be slaughtered.
In baby bears room both baby bear and honeypot are getting ready. Did honeypot want baby bear's attention or was she challenging him when she reminded baby bear that this is the first time he is coming with her to her parents, when this is not the first time that he has come with her to her parents. True , she is in her own way edging him on. But something is weighing on Shlockie's mind , he ain't reacting his usual way.Baby bear is not that impressed but when he glances at honeypot he notices that honeypot was having problems tying the dori of her blouse. He shakes his head in irritation and then tells her to hurry up. Then he himself goes and tie the dori. Anyway honeypot becomes very shy and lets him tie the dori of her blouse. Both keep on looking at each other and their reflection is shown in the mirror. This scene was very sweet but I don't know why but something was off for me and I had a feeling that baby bear is doing this out of humanity and honeypot is seeing romance. The scene also ended with their mirror image... I wouldn't say 'humanity' exactly but it definitely wasn't romance from Shlockie's end.
Anyway their light moment came to an end when the female who wanders around and looks through windows and key holes breaks a glass vase and they hear that noise...maybe a warning for the future where honeypot's image of being a couple will be broken by some news regarding an accident? Is this meant to create self-doubt in her? The dori scene that gets ended abruptly was about her feelings (female voice singing). Anyway baby bear tells honeypot that they have to leave and honeypot tells him that she wants him to wait for a minute and brings out his coat and asks him to wear it because it looks good on him. Baby bear did not want to wear the coat and he was feeling uneasy because he is being asked to do something that he does not want to do...yet he wears the coat. I actually liked this scene more than the dori scene...I found this scene more real and in the other scene I did not get the feeling that baby bear was involved. Actually both these scenes brought out what each consider as love...for honeypot it is when baby bear takes care of her and for baby bear it is when he lets her take control of his decisions. ...and baby bear was telling honeypot yesterday in a very pompous tone that no one can make him do what he does not want to do. So if honeypot misunderstand then will baby bear show her that he cares... I watched the episode again and now am confused. Earlier when I wrote my take I felt the future may show Shlockie breaking and Aastha fixing him . But now I wonder if he may not after all.All of Aastha's actions are to reassure herself and convince Shlockie they are couple , gestures initiated by a seedling of doubt. So maybe like you said future maybe have Aastha confused and Shlockie fixing it in his own way ?Anyway after baby bear wears the coat, honeypot tells him to hurry up because apparently he was the one who was causing all the deal and marches out of the room...Baby bear is left by himself shaking his head in exasperation. In the car, honeypot again does the same thing that she did in the room...now I think that she is challenging him. She tells him that why didn't he ask her the reason behind her not divorcing him...when she has already told him in front of the judge...then further challenges him by saying that if he continues keeping quiet then he knows that she can interpret his silence in any way possible and tells him that she feels that he is very happy that she stayed back. So in order for him to tell her that he wants her to stay for himself...she went through this roundabout way? Anyway bay bear thinks that it is safer to keep quiet.
At Kirloskars, now since Kalindi has decided to accept honeypot's relationship with baby bear, she is doing everything possible so that honeypot is happy and safe. This includes feeding Shloke on silver plates, falling all over herself to see to it that baby bear does not feel uncomfortable in anyway way. But then in her excitement to please baby bear she also over feeds him which results in baby bears multiple trips to the bathroom (Kalindi is stressed out inside but she is keeping it to herself) . Looks like Kalindi is going to keep tabs on baby bear. True mother she is after all!But has she really accepted Baby bear? It was Ajju who thought about buying something for baby bear...Kalindi didn't. Kalindi bought ornament for honeypot and she told her that she has bought this for her benefit. She also took honeypot to her room and honeypot became very happy seeing that it has been kept exactly how she has left it. ...so reassurance that her home is still hers and her room is still hers. There is not pressure regarding her returning but if she wants to, she is more than welcome This scene again had be thoughtful , why the room now? Will Aastha be back soon?😕 . Kalindi also made sure that she has a heart to heart talk with her daughter. On the other hand baby bear was studying her when she was falling all over herself to please him and then he got baffled by Kalindi's numerous questions and confusions. Baby bear was behaving as normally as he can and he was actually having fun...he made faces at honeypot and there was no sarcasm attached to his behaviour. When Ajju gave him the ring, he did not want to accept it but on being silently requested by honeypot he did accept it. Wish Neeranjan was here...he most probably would have given baby bear another death hug and escorted him from the influence of these two ladies. Kalindi apologised to baby bear for her behaviour and explained to him that honeypot is her life and that if anything happens to her, then Kalindi feels the pain. Baby bear is also Neeranjan's life but Kalindi allows honeypot to fly while Neeranjan suffocates baby bear. Anyway Baby bear did not behave rudely with Kalindi...most probably honeypot not going for the divorce and also finding that she was looking at his photograph and not of Kirloskar's the night before divorce has given him some sort of reassurance. Baby bear did not apologise and I don't expect him to apologise so soon. Apologising means he is accepting that he was wrong and that means his baba was wrong. That's going to take time... well am ready to wait😉When Kalindi tells him that he will understand her feelings when he himself will become a parent...baby bear did not make fun of Kalindi's feelings but he did look down and broke eye contact with Kalindi. Ajju asked honeypot regarding when is she going to become a great grandmother...which shocked honeypot and made baby bear swell his nostrils and raise an eyebrow at honeypot.I didn't notice it the first time , when I watched it again I did. Shlockie is silently gasping again! So Ajju wants great grandkids...she knows that just recently divorce did not happen. Does she think that having kids will solve problems? I mean give baby bear some direction in his life?
Coming to Jyoti...when did Barney get a job? I thought Varad rejected him. Anyway Barney is leaving for his new job and Jyoti tells him to take blessing from bappa and also offers him something to eat...most probably it is yoghurt and sugar. Barney tells her that she should not be spoiling him and Jyoti misunderstands Barney and thinks that he is reminding her that one day she will have to leave. So she decides to leave but she realises that she will have to be financially stable before she leaves. Jyoti also realises that there is not much food in the house and Barney gives her money for shopping. Jyoti who does not want to step outside the house is forced to do so and while returning from the shops she decides that she will have to call Astha because she does not trust anyone other than her. But Astha is engrossed in admiring and winding up Shloke that she does not hear the sound of her mobile ringing. Jyoti is dejected ...so she had only one coin with her? There was this weird and eerie background music in this phone scene when Jyoti realised that the coin that she inserted in the phone did not come out and the shop keeper told her that the connection was made and that is why the coin did not come out. What is in store for Jyoti? Is this her last chance to talk to Astha? She did wonder that she does not know when she will be able to talk to Astha. Later on she further thinks that contacting her mother is of no use because she will again be forced to return to Abhay and that it was Astha who recognised the truth about Abhay. Well the entire family knows but it is another matter that because of Neeranjan they are not going to do anything about it. Lost in their own world...Astha, Jyoti and Shloke miss seeing each other on the road.
I don't want to analyse the other female who wanders around but in her monologue scene a mirror was used and the camera focussed on her and her mirror image. When she was panicking the mirror was not used but when she said that someone's life being maintained is her main aim in life and that returning the life that this person has lost is her duty. This scene had the mirror image. So is she doing it for the other person or she doing it for herself? How can she return life to this person by destroying Shloke? This girl needs psychiatric help.I think she and Agnihotris can search if they get a group discount somewhere!
