I think a big part of Shlok, is still connected to swati. Even though he has feeling for Astha, when Shlok remembers Swati he forgets everything else. Then even Astha is insignificant , if Shlok still loves Swati after all this time Astha has to walk away.
Its is clear now Shlok, will only value Astha if she leaves him.
If its is guilt, because Shlok, thinks he has killed Swati. This only touches the surface of the guilt, in the past in the show Shlok has said to Anajaili that he does not want, what happened to Swati to happen to Astha. So N/A has harmed Swati , and made Anajaili take the blame.
Anajaili even tried to harm Astha with Abhay help, at a building site so building materials would fall on Astha but Shlok saved her.
