i have been watching balaji serials from kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi till pavitra rishta ...
n in all the women dominated serials the female leads are always portrayed as "Pure than Parvati mata" types, where in they can only do good , they can never be wrong , & whatever they do is always right & nobody shud question them (which is wrong) ... always blaming their husbands /lovers etc & making them look like a clown in the show ...
now here in JA , considering it as a 16th century show & from jalal's pov , a married women goes out in the middle of the night to meet a stranger (we knw its sujamal , but jalal dosent know ) , even after seeing his wife with another man for the first time jalal dosent jump to any conclusion"WHY" , instead he thinks about her safety & security , also thinks that jodha can never do wrong & when time comes she will tell him the truth ... okay thaz fine ...
next when he sees that jodha is disturbed , he goes to her hojra & frees the pigeons & tells her that shez too sensitive & needs to share her feelings with him , but still she dosent utter anything , , but jalal still tells her that she shouldnt do so much good to others that one day she will have to pay her price ... still it was an indirect statement from jalal , but our mata ignored it ...
what makes me mad is when jodha wanted to tell the truth "MOTI" stopped her ... i mean who the hell is moti ??? why is jodha listening to moti ...??? jodha was seeing that jalal's behavior was changing towards her , we could clearly see the fear, anger , frustration on "HIS FACE" , but jodha being a wife couldnt understand him & his gesture ... ???? i mean too much , what was she expecting jalal to beam like an LED light even after knowing that his wife is hiding & meeting a stranger in the midnight ...???
Jodha can understand moti , tasleem & all the bandhi's problem, But jodha cannot understand her husband ... On the contrary Jodha claims to have heart ... but where was her heart when jalal was struggling with his thoughts & emotions & fear of loosing his love ...???
why was she behaving like a heartless wife who was failing to understand her husbands inner turmoil ...???
lastly he is her husband & being his wife, she is first liable to her husband for all her deeds ... which jodha had forgotten ... when jalal came to her hojra & freed the pigeons, she could have, spoken to him taken him into confidence without breaking the so called stupid vachan of her cartoon bhaisa & tell jalal that shez doing something that will put her in trouble in the future , but whatever she is doing is something that is related to saving his life n would have asked him to just have trust in her & when time comes i will tell u the truth ...finish , he could have blindly trusted her ...!! even after maham's so many attempts of instigating jalal he never ever thought bad about jodha ... (for ex, considering 21st century & if i was in jodha's place & was doing something similiar then my husband would have definitely questioned me on the first meeting with a stranger no matter how much ever he trusts me or loves me ... becoz he has the right to know where his wife is going in the midnight & whom she is meeting without his permission , be it my brother ...)
But NO , mata rani was influenced so much by moti bai's talks ... that she herself forgot her own marraige vachans & in the letter shez making him realize his vachans ... what an irony !!!!
After the storm ended , jodha mata mentions in her letter "aap ne hum pe vishwas nahi kiya , hamare charitra pe sawaal uthaya " ...??? what on earth was jodha expecting from jalal to be like a "laughing buddha" ...?? seriously jodha ...???? knwing that the same stranger whome she has been meeting has entered in his harem , staying with his sister & wives ... i mean common ye toh hadh ho gayi ...
n jalal is no "GOD" for godsake , ultimately he is a "HUMAN & A HUSBAND" totally worried for loosing his love ...ðŸ˜
