Unless they have a major twist lined up for which yesterday's episode laid the base or was the starting point, this crap cannot be justified.

At a time when the show is under scanner and TRPs are so badly needed - this is what they serve.

@ could not have said it better and complete agree with you. They need to make the story interesting with a tit for tat or increase the pace. the one small raju asking ak to jump cause of madhu was pathetic

The USP of the show was the sharp dialogues, the tit for tak adn nok jhok nad DVD romance. that's what will sell and CVs need to get to that fast. The audience has patience, but also high expectations, don't disappoint on either front

The keeping Rishbala's death as secondary, and JM focussing on her current situation (she doesn't have any prompt feeling for Abhay's father's death or his own proclaimed grief either), may be for two reasons.

Firstly, it ensures that her focus stays on Raj, and the couple become the focus that mass-audience can focus on.

AK's scenes are mostly to make JM even more protective of Raj and strengthen that bond.
None of his other family-members can be as effective because JM wouldn't have to worry that he'd listen idolizingly to anyone except AK.

Secondly, if the father-lookalike situation becomes chafing, they can conveniently declare that JM is not Rishbala's daughter.
Either they are the previous couple re-incarnated (mass-audience has experience at ignoring considerably more cases of age-illogic), or they are completely different couple who simply look like the previous couple.

The priority needs to be establishing the couple's bond with each other to the point where neither of them would walk away from each other for any reason whatsoever.

JM alone - Rishbala's daughter or reborn Sr. Madhu or a lookalike - won't inspire mass-viewership interest for her avenging her parents or seeking back her legacy.

Neither of the couple alone have much anticipatable mass-interest in their doings unless as mere background to them together.

They need to up the ante and speed up the RajBala bonding fast to the point where she does consider it a marriage.

And please, get the female lead to wear a mangalsutra or sindoor - preferably both - soon to get mass-audience hooked more firmly.

As for the blooperdom, it was annoying but not excruciating.

First AK turned his back while doing the countdown.
That was a 2-in-1 miracle.
Raj on that edge all that time with miraculous balance.
And apparently AK is a unique person who has never known any kids taking off (in less fatality-prone feats) before the full countdown.

And then AK's jump from the first-floor balcony. All hail.
An adult of excellent physical health making that jump is heroic.🥱

What the heck was the point of showing the background in slow-motion?😕
We were supposed to imagine at least 6 feet more in between where he jumped from and where he jumped to?🤔

This episode focussed on the two jump-scenarios, with an intervening scene to bridge the two scenarios.
Presumably this was so that the ferris-wheel adventure could be pushed over onto Thursday's episode #545, with an interim lead-up in Wednesday's episode #544.

Otherwise, ideally they could have blended the two jump-scenarios into one.

JM hauling Raj off that edge and telling him right in front of AK that heroes don't do their own stunts, and even if AK were to jump from there, he would also be 'hurt'.
If Raj had then asked AK to prove himself a hero by jumping from that height, AK would have been effectively flummoxed.

But it would have let Raj know the jumping-from-a-height to be not doable.
And that would have made the ferris-wheel intended scene impossible.

As to the precap for Wednesday's episode #544 showing Raj wanting JM to apologize to AK, there are two ways to work it to build up the viewership-connect.

The shrewder option -
She offers AK a most earnest apology in a way that sounds genuine to Raj but that is clearly anything but genuine.
It would let AK know that while he's focussing on his revenge against her, her priority is not him but Raj to the point that she's willing to apologize to AK simply to make Raj happy - making AK know that he's considered a secondary and offhand point.

The genuine option - She apologizes while feeling it as humiliating and thereby letting AK know that he can use Raj again in this way, since she will do it for Raj but with her inability to work the bigger picture to her advantage.

The third option - which would not help at all with getting mass-audience to empathize with JM - is if she refuses to apologize for Raj's feelings, holds to her pride but doesn't show the sense to see the way by which she may preserve her pride.

Leela, was waiting for JM to open her mouth at the terrace itself and ask Raju to make AK jump. The girl's responses are shown so slow - first the asthma attack and then this. It makes you wonder who is retarded here.

Showing the female lead so helpless and dumb, just for putting that ferris wheel scene is not ok as it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Her 'Sir' 'Sir' has also started grating on the nerves. The only good thing was her sly smile and total lack of sympathy when AK jumped.

Shruti, right now it is not JM's cleverness that will get her points in terms of mass-support.
She needs to be seen caring exponentially more for Raj.
That is what will get her mass-support first. Not how cleverly she deals with AK.

And can't adequately emphasize the need to show her wearing sindoor or mangalsutra or preferably both.
MEIEJ tried last year also to show the mangalsutra and sindoor set aside.
It does not make mass-viewership think of the girl as less married.
They just consider the female lead as more to blame for any misunderstandings if either sindoor or mangalsutra isn't there as her statement.

And people say 'Sir' even to someone they despise. It means nothing.
If her manner looking respectful, that would be a definite disaster to repulse the mass-viewership in the same mode as last year.

Re the blue line, agreed absolutely.😳 She looked more upset that Raj had been won over by the jump than any concern for AK before or even after he jumped.😆
