04/07- Yesterday's episode :

And Shlok was a complete gentleman in the court case scene and on the day. Obviously he was upset at the thought of her leaving. And she saw that.
A lot of people think that Shlok answered his question in the court after AStha...he said he also does not want divorce after Astha because he is insecure and so could not take the chance of answering first.
But I feel that Shlok wanted to give Astha the out...he was giving her the choice to make the decision in their relationship...for the first time. Initially he courted her and lied and married her. Then he did not let her divorce. This time though..he waits with his heart in his throat. Because he wants to know what Astha wants..and he would have given it to her.
If Astha had said she wants divorce, he would have said the same..and he would have let her go.
This whole day...was about a Gentleman Shlok...who wants to give Astha the choice...about the relationship she is in. He does not want her to go...but if she really wanted to go he would have let her.

Also..Shlok spoke his truth for the first time since beginning of EBP....he has constanly lied about loving Astha then hating Astha...he said he married her and then stayed with her for Baba related reasons. This time...when he said in court that he also does not want divorce...he spoke the truth of his heart for the first time. He wants Astha in his life, for himself. He has accepted that.

But the highlight was the scene between Astha and Baba...that was a confrontation and face-off of sorts...but done in a very subtle way. Astha clearly tells Mr Niranjan that SHE IS RIGHT...but she was wrong only in the way she brings out the truths. And NA has no answer for that. Because Astha at the same time is humble and asking for blessings and forgiveness.
Then..the most interesting dialogues from NA...
" Apne parivar ke liya our apne khushi ke liye sahi faisla lena".

Who is Astha's parivar...what is Astha's home?? What is NA refering to here.
Basically he meant see the difference between kirloskers and Agnihotris...and since you will not be happy here , its best you go away.Otherwise you will cause problems in my family.

NA was actually telling Astha...to take the divorce. Yes..NA wanted the divorce to go through
..because Astha's personality and truthfullness will cause problems for him...and anyway he does not want Shlok to be close to his wife. After the court case announcement...NA first looks at Aditi...because thier plan to separate AShlok has failed. NA is initially shocked thta divorce did not happen and then covers it up with a hug. Where as Anjali openly shows her unhappiness.

Now NA keeps saying he does not want parampara to be broken so he wants Astha...he keeps saying that because he cannot outright say he wants the divorce...he has a better way of dealing with his image..push comes to shove he can eliminate Astha...that way he can get rid of her without divorce. Now that divorce did not happen he told Anjali something more scary today...
galti ki " Maafi..Saza our prasichit hota hai"..Means since AStha did not go away on her own...Astha is going to get Saza and Praischit of her mistakes from NA..through Anjali.

That's why..Anjali is unhappy..she knows Astha 's life here will not be happy...Astha will be suppressed..and will be controlled here...worst..now that Astha is going to stay she will get punishments for her mistakes. Anjali does not want a suppressed Astha. she does not want more harm for Astha...thats why she wanted Astha to get the divorce.

I was very suprised NA did not have a chat with Shlok and told him what he wants..usually NA doe that with his Bachha.

Also NA overhears Chachu and Varad...do not know the significance of that scene.

04/08:

Lovely mother kalindi..Applaud her...👏.with parents like Avdhoot and Kalindi...every girl would feel confident and supported in life. Kalindi wanted Astha to take divorce and come back..because she wanted AStha to lead a happy life. She was very upset at Astha's decision and cried..was disspointed...but when she realized that Astha wants this and she wants to take the chance...she agreed to support her. Thats the correct parent. We cannot always have our kids take decisions of our choice...but if they choose differently we support them anyway...Loved Kalindi today...As they say about parents..

."A parent's job is to raise the kids...give them wings...let them soar...and be there to catch them if they fall"

Thats what Kalindi is trying to do..learning to do..its a very very hard thing to do..to see your child put themselves though pain...but you are helpless..you can only be there to catch them and help them..until your child emerges victorious.

Astha explains herself well to her mom...mature..liked it.

Now..Aditi is shown in the background of Kalindi yesterday on her left...and today she is shown behind Kalindi and Avdhoot...in their middle. Aditi is surely Kalindi's daugher...and she is ill feelings of being abandoned by Kalindi and Avdhoot...otherwise there is no need for that scene and for Aditi to hear Kalindi and Avdhoot. Also the constant reference to "behen" between Astha and Aditi also points to the same...
But then why is Aditi after Shlok remains the question...or is it that Aditi is doing all this to make AStha stay...she made AStha to come back to Agni mansion and not take divorce...

The curtain comes off between Astha Shlok. While AStha is taking it off she falls and Shlok catches her...means while she will try to bridge the distance she might get hurt but he will look after her. Shlok also tries to put back the curtain but is stopped by Astha..after which she gets a stern lecture from Shlok that if she tries to hurt her father , or her family members she will be out of his life. The whole convo has deeper meaning...and probably Shlok is telling her that she keeps saying she loves him...but has a long way to go in understanding him...and he does not come alone in the package...his family is a part of him. Lets see where that goes.
Is he asking her to choose between her truth...and his family for his love.? Astha will choose truth over Shlok someday if she sees Shlok siding with injustice.. I am sure of that..

Also today Astha has seen Anjali outside the door for the first time. So once Aditi matter is resolved AStha's next problem will be to understand what happens between NA and Anjali.

Today I understood what Shlok wanted when he married her. He knew Astha has three very important qualities that he needs in his wife ..
1) Will to fight for truth and righteousness.
2) Determination to set things right where she goes.
3) Persistence...does not give up.

These are three things he saw in Astha before courting her...and marrying her. Now those qualities in Astha are coming to forefront.

My only request is not to dumb Shlok down...this should not become love hate story between Aditi and Astha. Do not show Shlok to be dumber than Aditi and as Aditi to be super intelligent.
We need the shrewd , intelligent Shlok back.

Great job by all actors and team.

I love the way you wrote about the parents and kids relationship. I agree with your thouts on how parents should react when kids grow up and wanting to do something different than what Indian Mentality parents want from the kids. I have same thoughts. But, sometimes mother is stopped and torned between kids and husband. Mother feel bad in this situations.

Great analysis. Regarding today's episode, I loved this part about Shlok and agree with u completely.

Today I understood what Shlok wanted when he married her. He knew Astha has three very important qualities that he needs in his wife ..
1) Will to fight for truth and righteousness.
2) Determination to set things right where she goes.
3) Persistence...does not give up.

I too saw the curtain scene as symbolic like you described. It was a simple scene but had greater meaning behind it. The greatest give away for me was Shlok remembering Astha declaring her love while putting the curtains back. The flashback appeared out of the blue thus meaning that by putting the curtains back he was trying to build the walls up around him that Astha's love seemed to be breaking down. He can't help falling in love all over again 😳
