To run a country one needs some sort of education but to vote for a leader you do not. an uneducated person could be just as wise or more then a person who is educated, there is something called common sense and general knowledge and a person can get by in life if they just have that. education only enhances a person knowledge about ceratain things but it in no way grants a person to be a better judge for situations in life. sure an uneducated person will not be able to solve an enhanced mathatmaticla problem but they wll absolutely be able to decide who they want as their leader.

Wow, amzing. Maybe before taking their right away, we "literates and padhe likhe log" should go and vote first. In rural areas people take pride in standing in queues for voting, in urban areas so called educated class considers it a waste of time and does not vote and then blames everything under the sun (except themselves) for their ills.

Wishdom is not based on the education you get! Some "illiterate" people happen to be smarter and more successful that the "literate"! Well hmm...let's see for example Bill Gates who only happens to be the richest man!
So, I think it's stupid everyone needs to be heard and everyone's opinion matters! The right to vote should not depend on how many books you read or who taught you!
So, I believe that everyone should get a right to vote no matter what!
