Abhay and Sulbha Tai smirk. They are both happy with the Anjali and Niranjan indifference.
Aastha: Jyoti kahin nahin jaaegi!!! Agar Jyoti ko jabarsasti bheja aapne... toh main Police ko bulaungi aur Abhay ke khilaaf case karungi. Agar... Jyoti Abhay ke baare mein jo keh rahi hai woh sach hai.. toh main uska saath dhoongi...
Niranjan and Anjali are shocked. Abhay and Sulbha Tai look worried.
Shlok: Aastha tum chup ho jao... Yeh Baba ka phaisla hai...
Aastha: Baba ka phaisla, Jyoti aur uski bachi se jyada important hai?... Kya uss bachi ki maut ke baad hi aapko yakeen hoga ki Abhay ek rakshas hai... Kya hoga baba ki izaat ka jis din Abhay usse maar daalega?... kya Jyoti ke assun... uska dard nahin dikh raha?... Behan hai woh apki!
Shlok is shocked and does not know what to say.
Aastha (Very angry): Aap kabhi bhi yakeen nahin karenge... Jis tarah... Aditi ka sach laane mujhe apni zindagi daw pe lagani padi thi... lagta hai is baar do masoomon ki maut ke baad hi aapko yakeen hoga... LEKIN AB NAHIN!!!! Kuch bhi ho Jyoti kahin nahin jaaegi... Agar uske iss ghar mein jagah nahin mil sakti... toh main uske saath yeh ghar chodkar jaaungi!!!
Jyoti has tears and smile on her face. She always knew Aastha would never let her down... but to go this far for her... She just could not express her emotions. She runs towards Aastha and hugs her. Aastha hugs her and consoles.
Aastha: Bilkul rona mat tum... Kuch nahin hoga tumhari beti ko... Main tumhara saath doongi... Agar Abhay se tum mukti chaiye.. talak chaiye... toh main tumhara saath apne aakhri damm tak doongi... (Aastha looks at Shlok) Shayad tumhare bhai tumhari rakhi bandwate samaye tumhari raksha karne ka vachan bhool gaye hain... par yeh behan tumhara saath degi.
The whole family is shocked and unable to say anything. Shlok leaves angry and confused, unable to look into Aastha's taunting eyes.
Kaka convinces the family to let Jyoti stay till the baby is born as the tension might affect the unborn child. The whole family disperses accepting the decision that Jyoti will stay in Agniothri house atleast till the baby is born. They decide to think later what to do about the divorce.
Abhay and Sulbha Tai get the clue that Jyoti has become strong since she escaped their cage. And with Aastha's support there is nothing they can do anymore. They speak between themselves:
Abhay: Ab hum kuch nahin kar paayenge. Vahini Jyoti ke saath hai...
Sulbha Tai: Ab sirf ek hi raasta hai... Jyoti ki maut.
Abhay (is shocked and looks at Tai): Yeh app kya keh rahi hain... Agar humne aisa kiya toh har roz ka daana paani kaun dega...
Sulbha Tai: Areee bevkoof... uski maut ke baat jo kuch Agniothri parivaar ne Jyoti aur uske baache ke naam kiya hai.. woh sab tera ho jaaega... Iss jyadaaad ki vaaris hai woh.. aur uske marne ke baad tu...
Abhay and Sulbha Tai smirk and look wickedly. They now have to set a plan to kill Jyoti.
(Shlok is looking up the sky... at the stars... thinking) Yeh sab kya ho raha hai... Kya sach hai kya jooth?... Sachmein Abhay ne Jyoti pe itna atyachar kiya hai?... Aditi ke baare mein Aastha pe yakeen nahin kiya tha maine... aur Aastha ki jaan (He still cannot forget the night Aastha was in his arms soaked in blood. He gets all scared)... Aastha ab tak mujhe maaf nahin kar paayi hai... Aaj bhi uski khamoshi mujhe andar se maar rahi hai... Itni baar maafi maang chuka hoon... Aur ab Jyoti.. uski aankhon mein sachmuch darr tha... ek umeed ki koi uski takleef samjhega... Kya karoon main... Baba ki izzat mere liye sab kuch hai, lekin agar Jyoti sach keh rahi hai toh... (Shlok is all decisive and angry) Nahin!! Is baar main khud saach ka pata lagaunga... Aur agar Jyoti ki baat saach nikali... toh Abhay ko maut se bhi battar sazza doonga!!
Sid is restless on his bed. He cannot stop thinking about Jyoti. The day she told him about the brutality she had suffered, he was shocked. He just couldn't digest it. So much pain, so much hurt. He convinced Jyoti to be strong and fight for her child's life, but what will happen if her family doesn't believe her. He promised je would always be there for her till his last breath. She said she would call him once she speaks to everyone at home. She should be calling soon. He prays to God to please help her and give Abhay the same pain as he has given her.
