ADD 'DELETE' OR 'DEACTIVATE' AS AN OPTION.

I have spent an hour trying to figure out how to delete or deactivate my account but I don't think there is an option available to the users. And I am wondering why!?

If the users have a choice to make an account in the first place, shouldn't they be allowed to delete it at their own behest? I read countless posts on how the comments and threads made/posted/opened by them will not make any sense.
Well, why can't 'user does not exist' or 'anonymous' appear instead of 'the account of this member has been banned temporarily'. Sounds as if the user was banned because he/she fell out of sync with the forum rules.

Do take this into consideration, admins.

Thanks!

AND PLEASE DELETE MY ACCOUNT. 😊

Exactly man.. Have myself send a ''PM To a GM'' to deactivate mine as well! Waiting for a reply and it's been two days 😆

It's my account and i believe i should have every right to deactivate it as per my whims and fancies. Shouldn't have to run around and wait for someone to come along to deactivate it as and when they want to.

Sorry for sounding rude 😳

Please deactivate my account.. I shall return in a couple of months after my exams are done.

Again, the entire process would have been so easy if there was a deactivation button available in the first place😆

Hey. There's a simple thing on every public forum known as Log out. Try doing that so and try even more not logging in again (until you really want to). That could easily substitute the deactivation option that you are looking for.

As a member, I am asking for my right to 'delete' and make my posts inaccessible. Also, I am not looking for a 'substitute'.
